They have re-set stones in rings, repaired necklace clasps (photo attached), and converted earrings from screw back to pierced amongst other repairs. After going to several other jewelers, we were tired of folks trying to sell us bands we didn't want or that were too expensive. When we came to Perri, the staff was extremely friendly and worked with us to find a ring we really wanted. On our first visit, they sent us home with their online catalog to browse at our leisure. We came back a week later to place the order and were able to get the band in just a few days. My husband's ring size was between a 6.5 and 7, so the staff recommended ordering the smaller size. After wearing the ring for a few days as a trial, it was a little small and they worked with us to stretch the band at no extra cost. Not only did we get a band that we loved and fit well but the staff remembered us between visits and treated us as if we had been customers for years. 3 watch repair shops and 2 continents later, my watch got fixed by Stephen Perri!! All 3 of them told me I had to send it back to the manufacturer Tag Heuer but we know doing that will cost just as much as the watch itself so I never did. It's been sitting in my drawer for the past 2 years. I decided to give it one last shot and I'm fourth time lucky! Stephen happened to have the special parts for luxury watches and ta-dah! It's fixed. All that for $40! Amazing!! I've brought 3 watches to them so far and all 3 of them were fixed/done in no time. I've only patronized Perri's a few times (always for repair), but I always leave there more satisfied than anywhere else I patronize, except for my mechanic and physician. My visit 3 days ago confirmed this. Again. My reasons are fairly simple: I always feel as if they listen and understand the problem I bring to them, and completely understand what they explain to me. I always feel as if I've received very above average value, fee/price-wise, when I leave the store. Horrible!!! I took my ring in to be resized only to get it back with something encrusted in the scroll on the stone on all 4 sides. They took it back to "clean" it up and returned it in the exact same condition. The lady tells me that it's the "metal" and then says "they received it like that"; both being incorrect statements. This ring was brand new, only received the night before giving it to them and never had been worn. She gave me the resizing $25 fee back, but that does not bring it back to its prestige condition. read more

Unfortunately I have had two bad experiences here. A few years ago they damaged my Longine watch when they replaced a battery to the point where it is likely not water resistant anymore. The back of my watch looks like someone hit it. A couple of weeks ago I thought I'd give them another try. I brought in a dive watch for a battery replacement. They said sure they could take care of that. I handed over my watch and just before they were going to start working on it I asked if it would still be waterproof. Thinking that was probably an unnecessary question but just to be safe. They then responded that no, they could not guarantee that. I was so surprised that they wouldn't have offered that feedback immediately. If I hadn't asked I would now have a worthless dive watch. read more

My wife's wedding ring had lost one of two small diamonds and required re-welding of the band. After examining the ring I was advised that one of prongs holding the master diamond needed replacing. All of this work was done to my complete satisfaction. I also had a man's ring with a rolex bezel mount that initially had an opal triplet cabachon. The opal was very soft and over time disintegrated. I bought an amyethyst cabachon on-line and asked that it be installed in this mounting. Again, both jobs were done in one week to my total satisfaction. The quick turn-around and very agreeable price will send me back to Perri should the need arise in the future. It's a small store but I would recommend this place to anyone requiring jewelry repair. They also carry a large selection of watch bands which is something most places don't these days. read more

I was treated as if I had no money. The sales people have no business in Sales. I payed a lot of money to get a ring resized. Regardless of the work done the interaction was horrible and unwelcoming. I asked for it to be done on a certain day (with plenty of time) they said yes it was not ready when my girlfriend walked in to get it (ON HER BIRTHDAY). They will never get my business. They over charge they are rude and have no concept of customer service. Lesson learned. read more

My fiance and I came here to get my engagement ring re-sized, and everyone in the shop was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout the whole process. The ring is an unusual design, and they were able to work with it and resize it beautifully. They even worked with our schedule because we had a family party coming up that we wanted to show off the ring at - and Steve had it done with time to spare! There was even an issue with the center opal that Steve helped get fixed and figured out with ease and quickness. After getting no help at the first jeweler (he wanted me to go to the gem show and buy a replacement stone for my wedding ring, then he would put it in...) I went to Perri. The help I received was excellent. The jeweler ordered quite a lot of replacement stones in the size, and color I wanted so that I could choose the one I liked best for my ring. The ring came back perfectly done. The stone was set, looked great, all the other stones in the ring were checked and the ring was cleaned and shined. It looked like new.
