My experience at Rowan was great. I was a walk in customer and had no issues getting service right away. My nurse, Vanessa was personable and informative. I wanted to switch out an industrial bar for two separate earrings. I have sensitive ears that react to certain metals, so I love that the jewelry is 24k gold over titanium. The fact that the staff are all nurses is a plus because the process was very clean and sanitary. Vanessa, was able to help me try on a few options. I wish I had known about this place and their methods (no piercing gun!) sooner. It's so much nicer, cleaner, quieter, and more professional than the typical hectic mall piercing spots like Claire's. Disappointing. When in looking for some information on getting a second earring piercing, and received very little useful information. Although they state everywhere "Walk-Ins Welcome", there was a big push to go on-line and setup an appointment... We were the only ones in the place. Basically it was like getting vamped by a used car salesman.. We walked out and the next day found a local piercing studio that as friendly, clean, informative, and welcoming... Was looking to get two NEEDLE piercings. Pricing is reasonable. Did not get the name of the woman who pierced my ear. But she was very informative on the process, it was painless. Decided to go to this location as the ones in Phoenix area do not have the best reviews. Also bought a pair of earrings. So far my piercing has been pain free. I also enjoyed reading the education on the walls and the Mission behind the business. So far have recommend Rowan to friends. Pictured the butterfly , pink heart and small pink earring all purchased and pierced at this location all for 240ish which is reasonable for a safe and clean procedure. Will be going back again ! I do like that when you're setting up an appt it offers device and needle piercing options and shows you the jewelry you can get with the option you want it saves time when going in. read more

I've always wanted to give a cute piercing studio like Rowan a try! So glad I semi-impulsively decided to walk in the other night. Right away the staff were friendly, and welcoming. I didn't make an appointment ahead of time, but was still easily accommodated considering they weren't super busy when I went in. I was guided through the piercing process including selection of my piercing method (I went with a needle), choosing my jewelry, the piercing itself, and detailed aftercare instructions. I think the experience is a little more expensive than I was expecting (piercing jewelry options only available in 14k gold, but great for those with metal sensitivities!) but honestly it was worth it. The piercer who helped me was super kind, and informative as she walked me through each step of the piercing process, also checking to make sure I was doing ok along the way. I've had many piercings done before, so I wasn't worried. That being said, I think Rowan would be a great place for beginners to come, especially if you don't know what to expect with the piercing process! read more

Rowan is amazing. I had a great experience getting a mid-helix needle piercing last week and I wish Rowan had been around 15 years ago when the only options for ear piercings were the (loud) piercing gun at the mall or a visit to a tattoo/body piercing studio, which even back then was quite pricey. This is a fun, affordable and fresh environment and a great option to add to the mix. The nurse who did my piercing, Monica, was fantastic. She took great care in finding the perfect spot for my piecing, explained everything and the piercing itself was seamless. Loved our time at Rowan. After my daughter had a traumatic issue with her piercings last time I really wanted to focus on finding a place that knew what they were doing and was super clean. Being run by nurse practitioners made me feel really good about it. The amount of jewelry we got to choose from was so great. There were so many different options. The price of everything was a bit steep, but like I said I'd much rather it be a little bit more expensive and be done correctly, especially if we're dealing with scar tissue. I will be going back to Rowan again for my next piercing because I'm addicted now thank you Rowan. read more

I highly reccomend Rowan Piercing Studio. It is very professional and have RN's doing the piercing with a special device that inserts the earring Into a previously marked spot on your earlobe which was fast and not the least bit uncomfortable. Monica did my piercing and did a great job and paid attention to detail and gave me good aftercare instructions. I highly recommend the antibacterial spray to spritz a few times a day as I have had no itching, scabbing or discomfort. They also have a good selection of earrings . I chose the large cubic zirconia diamond earrings as my piercing choice. This is an excellent business model. read more

My daughter went here to get her second piercing and had such a great experience! When we walked in everyone was super friendly and helped her find options for her earrings. She got her piercing done by Keandra, and she marked her multiple times, reassured her of the process and was very gentle! She told me she didnt feel a thing! Not to mention the environment was very sterile. After she got her piercing, they went over some things to make sure that she keeps her ear clean and to not get an infection.
