Saw an ADT van camping in the left lane, not passing anyone, not moving over. So I go to pass on the right, PITS, but no surprise, plenty of people are clueless. This mental midget driving a billboard on wheels thinks it's in his best interest to speed up, then although my turn indicator was on, he though it prudent to drive on the left shoulder and median to not let faster traffic over. Silly, I have front, rear, and side dashcams. This genius in van 298054, plate NYS 64987 MD, then doubled down, he just had to give me the finger when I finally got around him. Physical description is fat male, long hair and beard, looks like he smells. Small pudgy hands. Initially a stupid smirk. I can post the footage and photos of the entire incident, and will if no reply to this or a phone call that will be placed tomorrow. Ironic how a van can be lettered "Brilliantly safe" when this face of the company is neither safe, nor brilliant. This still is just the beginning, I know that this menace works out of Elmford as he was driving a billboard on wheels. Guess it slipped his mind.

Agent said she's send info on other services---which she never did---and Husband said he'd have to talk to me about other services. But landline service needed to be canceled. They never canceled our service and kept taking money out of our bank account. Said we never canceled. It was impossible for them to actually provide service without our having a landline. I finally called on early March and kept saying CANCEL to several people before they agreed to cancel. They refused to give back any of the money. Instead, the cancelation took a month to go into effect, and even though service is paid a month in advance, they kept taking money out until shortly before the cancelation went live. No refunds. Absolutely a greedy, shady company that will NEVER admit a mistake or do the right thing.​

While I was waiting for the technician to arrive, I fiddled with the settings and ended up resolving the issue on my own. What really stood out to me was the honesty--both Mitchell and the technician could have easily said I needed new equipment or upgrade or unnecessary work, but instead they were supportive and completely upfront. After paying $80/mo for three years I was expecting a way lower monthly. I was paying $29 at my last home and was expecting something similar. After waiting on hold for the better part of 1/2 hour I was informed that my new monthly would be a whopping $10 less or more than double what I'd been paying. When I informed the agent that the person who sold me the system said my monthly would go WAY down after the contract period her answer was that the salespeople often lie in order to get the business. Really? Now let's talk about the service itself. Unless my alarm is blaring for a minute or two they don't call. My remote keypad stopped working and technical support spent over an hour on the phone and couldn't fix the issue. YouTube did. Same with one of my door sensors and glass break detector. In the end I've decided to hire another company. Short term it will cost me more but I don't care. Would rather give them the money than feed into crappy ADT overpriced service. You should do the same.

I ordered a security system which was supposed to cost $99 installation fee which turned out to be…read morean extra $528. To finance with them with the ADT credit card company they use Synchrony company which does not charge a fee but ADT charges $29 for requesting it. ADT billing makes no sense, they give you a lower rate one month and when you pay your old amount in error they give you a credit. Then the following month's bill was billed at the old rate and took the credit back. There is no reasoning with them. They put a supervisor on the phone who was super nice and apologetic and said all the right things and promised to rectify the situation and guess what, it never happened. Do your research, they overcharge on everything. IF YOU DO NOT WANT ANY AGGRAVATION STAY AWAY FROM ADT!
