Great dentists, staff and they do a great job but I won't be coming back, after a year and a half. I have had "6" cavities which I feel extremely excessive. The dentist was nice and friendly. But when I took the process for the night guard they never told me anything about weather or not insurance would cover the whole thing. They told me they were going to get me a night guard and said nothing about payment. So now I'm stuck with a $238 bill that I wasn't aware of. If you go through the weekly coupon ads, you might have seen one for this place. I actually went in for the $99 Zoom Whitening deal they advertised. When all was said and done, I was almost $500 lighter and not that much whiter. Before I could get my teeth whitened, they gave me an annual cleaning. THEN, Dr. Brian Evans replaced all my silver fillings even though I didn't have any cavities. I happened to like my silver fillings, but he wanted to replace them all with composite fillings. I trusted his judgement at the time, but looking back on it now I feel it was unnecessary. I mean, my regular dentist just put one of them in a couple of years ago and didn't recommend it to be replaced. I felt like he wanted to just get more and more money out of me. As for the Zoom, it was so painful the first time (for some reason the protective paste they used really burned). It varies with everyone, but for me it was a nightmare. Were my teeth whiter? Maybe $99 whiter, but definitely not $500 whiter. If you do decide to try this place out, don't let them bully you into "extras" that you don't feel you need. He did a great job on my fillings and I'm not knocking his dentistry skills one bit. The dental hygienist is great and the receptionist is pretty hot, but I would never go back there. I want to feel like the dentist cares more about my teeth than how much money he can suck out of me (that's my wife's job)!! read more

Several months ago, I had a dental emergency and went to a dentist my mother recommended in Oak Brook. I ended up looking like Frankenstein's monster and had to find someone to fix my tooth right away. At 2:00pm on a Friday!! Needless to say, I was panicked and frustrated!! Just by chance, I called Stratford Dental off a Google Review. Dr. Bryan Evans was able to take me after all his appointments for the day. His receptionist was kind, professional and accommodating. I felt welcomed right away. When I came in, I noticed right away that everything was new, clean and modern in the office. The staff are delightful and friendly. The dentist I had gone to earlier in the day had messed up my front tooth pretty badly. Dr. Evans was able to fix the shoddy work and make my front tooth look entirely natural, like my other front tooth! I was impressed and SO relieved!! Additionally, Dr. Evans is very personable and cares about making a difference in the world. He travels all over the world helping disadvantaged communities implement dental programs. As a person who is very involved in being a part of the solution myself, this impresses me quite a bit. The office staff helped me deal with my insurance company and was more than accommodating when it came to making payments. I cannot recommend Stratford Dental enough. read more

I have been a patient at Stratford Dental since 2005, it has been the very first time I have ever enjoyed going to a dentist! Dr. Evans and his staff are always friendly, every person there knows who I am and they will try to schedule me with MY hygienist for cleanings so it is consistently the same person. I enjoy how Dr. Evans and his staff listen to me, I don't take this for granted because good healthcare and passionate Dr.s are hard to come by! He and his staff will always go above and beyond and very knowledgable, for six yrs I have not one complaint. Recently had a Nightguard made for TMJ and loved that Dr. Evans was able to make the appliance in his lab with the latest technology while I waited! I will be a longtime patient as well with the office hours, I don't have the option of taking time from work for various appts, the evening hours and Saturday hrs are a big bonus for me! read more

Great staff excellent updated equipment, Dr. Evans was terrific. One of the most pain free cleanings I have ever had. Like most they accept what insurance pays for regular 6 month cleanings. Be sure however to get a clear understanding of costs for any other dental work you get done. The care here is really great, honestly, and a step above from my old dentist. Complimentary oral cancer screening, great plaque removal. The dental assistant I was with was VERY friendly and professional, I believe her name was Julie. However, I will not be coming back. Dr. Brian Evans is NOT LGBT friendly. If you are gay or lesbian, or could be considered to "look gay", I would find another place. Particularly conservative people tend to clock me as LGBT. He was decently friendly when he walked in the room, but after meeting me he was very rude and dismissive towards me, and would not listen to me. He was very snappy, and made me feel like an inconvenience. His behavior towards me is the sole reason I am not coming back, and I recommend he act a bit more professionally, grow up, and realize that people who are not Christian or straight still deserve to be treated with respect, or else he will LOSE BUSINESS. Don't be fooled. Dr. Brian Evans is terrible! I had a emergency because one of my mowlers was in severe pain. He got me in right away. He had to use 6 shots of Novocaine on my gums. Still didnt work. Then he proceeded while i was in extreme pain. After that he put in a temporary filling when he was supposed to put in a permanent one. We paid for the permanent and didnt find out it was temporary until a month after Dr. brian Evans did my mowler it fell out and chipped off my tooth and brought the nerve out with it! Another dentist had told us from what had fell out it was temporary. Dont go to this guy. He is a fake and a fraud. And he will mess your teeth up also. Because of him i now have to have gum surgery and a bridge put in. read more

I had recently moved and a friendly neighbor recommended Dr. Evans at Stratford Dental when she heard I was looking for a new dentist. I get really anxious during dental procedures and had struggled in the past to find a good dentist that was compassionate and willing to be patient with me. I could not be any happier than I am with Dr. Evans and his staff. I've needed a lot of dental work and Dr. Evans has been amazing to work with. He and his staff are all incredibly professional but also always welcome clients at the door with a smile and have sometimes called after procedures just to check on how I'm doing. Their hours are amazing -- where else do have a dentist that's open Saturday afternoons or some evenings until 8:00?? My insurance has never been an issue there & if treatments have exceed my plan limits they've accepted a payment plan. I also love having my business go to support a dentist that travels throughout the poorest places in the world, providing his professional services to those that would otherwise have no access. He trains locals in those areas so needs are met and communities can begin to rise above the depths of poverty. A hand up is so much more than a hand out. Dr. Evans leads by example and I feel so incredibly fortunate to have found a dentist that I'm comfortable seeing as well as someone for whom I have such respect and admiration. Stratford Dental is an excellent dental office. The entire office is always friendly and easy to work with. I selected this office due to their evening hours and they are always quick with check in and not making you wait long for your appointment. Stratford Dental makes going to the dentist fun. I had not been to the dentist in over 8 years when I first started going to Stratford Dental. I had a few fillings that I need to get and needed some intensive cleaning of my teeth on my first initial visit. The first initial visit was a pit painful, but the office got me through it with no problem. They were patient and took their time and made sure I was comfortable. After that first initial visit, I have now been to the office for routine cleanings on a regular basis and each cleaning has gone got eaiser and I actually look forward to having my teeth cleaned. The cleanings are now easy and painless and it is a pleasure to have my teeth cleaned. I listened to what they told me to do in taking care of my teeth, and their advice has paid off. My teeth feel and look great. Stratford Dental does amazing work. As each person in the office tells you, they are indeed there to take care of you.
