We joined our kid at Stratford for preschool, and this year he graduated from kindergarten and is entering first grade at Stratford. Our experience with Stratford has been wonderful. The staff are wonderful, including the front desk staff member, Ms. Nandhini, who always greets the kids with a beautiful smile and helps with any questions or concerns. Not to mention the school director, Ms. Amina Saiyed, who has been a wonderful support since the beginning. She has lots of patience and is very considerate of the child's needs and accommodating of the requirements for the growth of the child in a better way. I have personally seen her talking to kids in the corridor, taking walks with them, and trying to understand their behavior and teaching them to take perspective rather than just disciplining them. Ms. Amina is very nurturing, and her experience in the field of education certainly plays a role. Lastly, Ms. Srikanth and Ms. Sheth -- I have no words to explain what a wonderful combo they are, and I couldn't ask for more. Their combo is simply the best. They played a major role in my kid's growth during kindergarten. Ms. Srikanth sets the right boundaries for the kids and, at the same time, is very playful, making it a fun learning experience for the kids. Ms. Sheth, with her calming and friendly nature, keeps the classroom a nurturing and happy place for the kids. I am not sure what magic they do in the classroom, but I can clearly see the positive changes in my kid. He is more motivated, happier, becoming more punctual (which is honestly a surprise to me), and inspired in such a wonderful way. A few times, I have heard him say, "Ms. Srikanth / Ms. Sheth won't be happy if I do this." When a child says something like that, it truly shows the amount of respect, admiration, and connection he has with his teachers. He absolutely adores them. If I had the chance, I would choose Ms. Srikanth and Ms. Sheth for all his grades without a second thought, because with teachers like them, I feel completely confident and reassured about my child's growth and learning journey. read more

I enrolled my child in the early preschool program here, and I couldn't be happier with that decision. At first, I was hesitant about starting her preschool so early, but it has truly been one of the best choices for our family. We decided to enroll her in the half day program which is 8-11:45. The teachers are wonderful, and I'd especially like to thank Ms. Neeraja for going above and beyond for every child in her class. The variety of activities they offer each day is impressive and really helps keep the kids engaged and mentally stimulated. We are happy to attend the Early Preschool program at Stratford - Pleasanton. As a newer offering, it makes the transition from family care to a school setting seamless and supportive--especially for younger children who aren't yet potty trained. The Early Preschool brings a nice balance between nurturing care and early education. It follows the same curriculum design and daily schedule structure as the rest of the school, allowing our little one immerse in consistent, age-appropriate routines, learning goals, and social development, and recognize themselves as part of a big school family. Our kids love Stratford School. The staff is very welcoming, greeting each child by name every day. Ms. Noushin in Room 3 has been a wonderful preK teacher. Our kids love her. She is very caring and makes learning so much fun. She communicates very well through the monthly newsletter and shares a lot of daily pictures though Procare. She also gives updates at the end of the day during pickup if there were any notable things, such as if lunch was a hit or not. We have been so blessed to have Ms. Noushin as a teacher this year. Other teachers to note are Ms. Farah (preK), Mrs. Powell (K), Mrs. Narendra (K), and Mrs. Cavanas (1st). They have all instilled a love for school and learning in our older child. When she sees them in the hallways, she happily runs to greet them. They are also happy to hear any updates on her progress in school. I can't say enough good things about our experience with Stratford the past couple years. We have been very happy with the progress that we have seen in our daughter socially and academically. I have been impressed with their advanced curriculum as well as their emphasis on the arts. I love that they do winter and spring shows. it is fantastic to see the children up on stage and reciting their lines. This is great for getting used to public speaking and building up their confidence. I also appreciate their exposure to historic fine artist at such a young age. We have truly been blessed with THE BEST teachers. Mrs. Farah from Pre-K was a delight with such a welcoming demeanor. Her joy and love for the kids was so evident. For Kindergarten we were fortunate enough to have Mrs. Powell and Mrs. Chakraborty. They made learning so fun and we saw incredible results. Both very much loved by the children. So much warmth and laughter filled the room. They are missed and will be a hard act to follow. Another important thing for us is communication. From day one it has been exceptional. We were consistently updated on the goings on in the classroom and with any areas of concern. The teachers were also very responsive. The few concerns that we had were addressed immediately. The open lines of communication and transparency were greatly appreciated. Great education for kids. Involves parents and grandparents. They even had grandparents day which was a potluck party during which time we had the opportunity to visit our children in their classes. My daughter's class happened to be outside doing physical education. I was very impressed to see the exercises they were all doing as a group following the instructor. They even invite parents to come and read books and do activities with the kids, which is great because it brings in some outside perspective. Our younger kid has been attending Stratford for two years now, and she's loving it. She often comes home talking about the things she's learned at school, and her progress has been constantly surprising us! The teachers are very welcoming and accommodating, including those during extended care hours. After this summer, our daughter will go on as a first grader (yay!) and she still talks about her teachers during her first year at Stratford! Twice a year, the kids also get to take on stage. It brings us so much joy watching our daughter perform - it's quite amazing to see these little kids memorize so many songs and dance moves, with no fear of the stage! Our family has a long-standing connection to Stratford School in Pleasanton. Our older son Ryan spent four happy years there. Last year we visited the school again while looking for a school for our younger son Kyle's kindergarten. We were very happy to see that Mr. Figueroa is back at the school in charge. The campus was very neat and organized, just like how it was 10 years ago. Clearly, Mr. Figueroa runs a tight ship. We were somewhat surprised to see the tuition is significantly lower than other comparable schools. We enrolled Kyle in Stratford with no hesitation. One of the standout features of Stratford is the joyful atmosphere it fosters. My younger son eagerly looks forward to going to school every day, and that speaks volumes about the positive and nurturing environment created by the dedicated teachers and staff. We feel the homework load is optimal: it's more rigorous than public schools but does not feel overly burdensome. Communication between the school and parents is a strong suit. We trust Kyle's two teachers, Mrs. Srikanth and Mrs. Vadrevu very much. They consistently keep us informed about our child's progress, achievements, and any areas that may need attention. This is our son's first year at Stratford and he is currently in kindergarten. His teachers Mrs. Srikanth and Mrs. Vadrevu have both been doing an amazing job! Our son is retaining the information he learns in school and is able to repeat what he learned when telling us about his day. We have seen a big change in how he is developing. They definitely make it exciting to go to school because he is able to go to school with a smile and leave with the same smile he entered with. Mrs. Srikanth and Mrs. Vadrevu are very informative when it comes to letting the parents know what is going on throughout the week and month. We always know what our son is learning week over week and know what to prepare for well in advance so everyone can prepare and succeed. If we ever have any questions, they are also very responsive and never leave us in limbo. My daughter attended Stratford for the 2024 summer program both session in the Pre K class. We love the everyday activities and weekly theme. I am not sure if there is another program that may possibly have more than Stratford program. Everyday music time and daily activities schedule I really recommend. My daughter attended both summer sessions, each session 5 weeks total. Minus one star for two reasons. First, I was not aware that for the summer session, there would be a new teacher every 2 weeks. I learned that once we started the program. I really prefer one teacher for the session for various reasons. Two weeks just doesn't give enough time for child to know teacher and vice versa. How do you know how much the child is progressing. I did bring this up to the head of school, the response I got was, they do the 2 weeks rotation so teachers can get a break. I understand that but if that's the case, it should be mentioned to parents before registration. It might just change my mind overall though. Second reason for the minus one star, I registered my daughter way back in January before summer session even started. The office staff was really nice with helping me out and also giving me a tour. I felt I was misled by one office staff in particularly about how full their summer waitlist. (We were also in the market to buy a home and wasn't sure if we should register for one or two session) I ended up registering early for both summer sessions. Well let me tell you, there is no wait list. There were still plenty of open spots. We ended buying a home outside of the area before summer session 1 ended and Stratford could not accommodate to our move. No refunds even if I provided proof of relocation. No exceptions. So just beware and don't feel pressure to register for more sessions if you are not sure. I wish they were more transparent and truthful about the waitlist. And also more accommodating to these situations. read more

My daughter is currently attending the Pre-School at Stratford Pleasanton Campus and have only great things to say about my experience. The teachers Ms. Vijayalaxmi and Ms. Da'Sharie are amazing, the curriculum is second to none and each child is treated with care. My daughter absolutely loves the school and the staff. Her teachers are a great encouragement and and the academic program is great. Her class teachers Ms. Vijayalaxmi, Ms. Da'Sharie and Ms. Chitra are passionate about seeing their students succeed. They are so great about sharing moments of pride they see within the child - their good behaviors and achievements; and they know the importance of getting the parents involved should an issue arise, and do it in a very respectful, approachable manner. 5 Star Rating for Stratford - Pleasanton Campus in Education, Extra Curricular activities and Overall in each departments, be it, Science, Music, Arts, Spanish Classes. All the teachers are great & have focus on child's growth & well being. A great execution of ideas always comes from leadership ( Ms. Amina & Mr. Sanny), who pays extra attention to every aspect of schools day to day activities and well planned events. We have been fortunate to attend both of our 3 year old performing on Winter events in front of the MPR full of 50+ people and the kind of confidence the kids shows, conveys the effort the teacher put in to get them ready. I am highly appreciative of teachers who has been part of this journey. From Ms. Radha, Ms. Engy to Ms. Vijaya & DaShaire, these Room # 7 teachers has been party of early age for our 2 daughter. Both of our kiddos are a Stratford Student & feel happy walking out of school after drop-offs and picking them up and how they sing "we belong to Stratford & the love to go to school". read more
