We've had such a wonderful experience with this daycare, and we're truly grateful for everything they have done for our daughter. One of the things we really appreciate is the healthy and well-balanced lunch choices they provide. It gives us peace of mind knowing she is getting nutritious meals while she's there. Communication with the teachers has also been so easy and reassuring. They are attentive, caring, supportive, and always willing to communicate with us about how our child is doing. We are grateful to Anna and the Little Goose team for the care provided to our little one. He has bonded very well with his kind, fun teachers and shares stories every day about his experiences with his friends and teachers, the toys, crafts, or activities they do. This place has been awesome. The staff is great, especially Anna, who is incredibly caring, cheerful and very responsive. Our daughter was there for about 18 months and we never once picked her up upset. They always notified us if she got hurt (as kids do), which we really appreciated. There are lots of activities, and she was constantly coming home singing new songs. We also got daily updates on how she ate and bathroom breaks, plus weekly photos via WeChat. On the first day, the teachers were so welcoming and excited to see her, she transitioned to her new daycare without a hitch. I highly recommend Little Goose Daycare for the wonderful experience my daughter Hazel had there. From the moment she joined at 15 months old, it was clear that this was a nurturing environment. Although Hazel initially cried, it was really short lived as the teachers calmed her down right away, and I would get pictures for reassurance that Hazel was okay. Eventually, she stopped crying when the routine was established and she looked forward to going to school! Our son has been going to Little Goose since he was 15 months old, he is now 30 months. We toured many daycares and Little Goose was at the top of our list. We feel so fortunate to have been able to get a spot. My son has learned so much and every morning puts on his shoe and says "Anna Juju" because he loves going to daycare. Literally, I will drop him off and he just runs in without even saying bye to me. He always comes home with a smile on his face. The daycare is very clean and well kept. Our little one joined LGD last year at 18 months, and the positive changes we've seen over the past 14 months have been truly special. We found Little Goose Daycare via yelp and were so grateful a spot was available and for the care and attentiveness they put towards my daughter's transition. During her transition, we received reassurance through picture and text updates and more information at the end of the day. It was clear that they really cared about her and our family. We had a few must-have criteria when looking for a daycare such as a clean facility, communicative with parents, caring teachers, and LGD checked all of the boxes. I was also happily surprised by the arts and crafts they do with the kids, the events they hold for various holidays, and the overall fun and learning that occurred as i didn't expect it at 15 months old. It's little but impactful things like having learned how to put her toys away and eating on her own. Our little one has been going to Little Goose Daycare for 18 months and we couldn't be happier with our choice of daycare. We were lucky and Anna was accommodating so we could start sending our baby there. Your attitude in your reply exactly revealed what you have done to an worrying parent and her child - lack of empathy and lack of transparency. I'm again disappointed to see that you are being defensive, without any reflection to your behavior. This is exactly the same tone of yours the two times I raised my concern with you in June and July. 1. Not helping a baby to participate with the group playing and Just letting him stay in door alone unhappily, for a month, is already unreasonable for any daycare. I asked if you can do something, proposed an idea " show magic of the toy car". you responded NO and laughed at me immediately. I emphasized that " trick" is not the main point. I just hope you can so something to help him to play outside and have fun. You completely ignored my concern and used your narrow mind to judge an worrying mother. 2. Does a mother being anxious for no reason? I'm a working professional and I have my career, did I just wasted two month to text you for fun? I told you that my son had acted totally different since he went to your DC, like Post Traumatic Disorder. The doctor notes has a complete detailed observation of my son's symptoms since he went to your daycare in June. (I never wanted to reveal any medical record of my son, which documented my son's behavior change, my concerns and doctors diagnosis. ) The pediatric suggested me to seriously raise my concern with the daycare and ask for cooperations from the daycare. That's why I talked with you the last time in beginning of July, in front of your daycare. I believe you have the that camera recording too. Again, you acted defensive like none of my humble requests - 1) do something with him sleeping in sitting, which is bad to his back ( you said baby's back is soft and sleeping in sitting position is okay . I can quote the pediatric opinion if you wish.) 2) do something to help him playing with other kids in yard - none of these requests seemed reasonable in your opinion. " queen size pillow", are you kidding me?! It's a 11" baby size pillow!! 3. In June, My baby was crying so hard and you didn't send pictures to me even if I asked. Given he has been so resistance to your daycare, for over 6 weeks. Isn't that normal for a parent being anxious? Is it illegal if a mother who seriously concerned about his crying bay, stay in front of the daycare door few more minutes to make sure if her baby is okay or not? If you send me any picture or videos showing me that he is okay, why would I be so anxious? And you told me in our July conversation : you didn't send pictures because my baby wasn't happy there. 4. I'm not the only one parent, at the enrollment, you verbally committed to have capacity of 12 and two teachers plus 1 assistant. I said as long as the license allows I don't mind you have more than 12. I'm also okay if the teacher is absent as long as you properly inform us. But I'm extremely disappointed that you hide the truth to us even if I asked two times. 5. Another piece of fact: in one of annual unannounced inspection, only one teacher was present when the inspect arrived. The other teacher was not there until during the middle of inspection. It's public information. 6. Yelling? I believe your camera also recorded how crazy my boy was crying when I picked him up from the daycare. He cried non stop for a long time which Ive never seen. I could tell from his voice that he had already cried a lot in your daycare before. It was heart-broken to see him crying like this. Very much I wondered what has happened inside of daycare can cause such a emotional damage to my boy! Do you have camera recording of that too? 7. We lived in a area colder than Dublin; I tried to adjust for temp difference. Even in the case I wrongly anticipated the temp, you can always take them off. And, "Two layers of pants in a hot summer day?" It is so ridiculous to make up an apparent lie just to accuse someone. This nonsense accusation showed how much you are lack of compassion and understanding to parents. Back in Feb, things were normal and my son wasn't had a such a difficult time like in June. If the new location opened in Sep, then it was truth that you were busy with remodeling and other stuff in June and July, related to the new daycare. Please, hear my humble request: as a business owner, at least show a little bit reflection to yourself and your business. It is meaningless for me waste any more time in "war of words". In June and July, the experience in your daycare, cause major harms to my son and my family. I have every right to express how I honestly feel and what I have experienced. ~~~~~~~~~~~ update: the tone in her first reply was much more defensive and lack of empathy to any damage that they have on my son and on our family. My kid has been here for 1 year, he celebrated his 2nd birthday and got potty trained by the teachers recently. My son loves to go to LGD and loves Anna and Julie very much. It was very difficult to find a daycare provider that I trusted and was comfortable leaving my baby with, especially for a first time mom. We are so happy that we found LGD. My son was at LGD from 17 months old. He has received so much love, attention, and nurturing here. We were always amazed at how much he learned during his time with Anna and Julie. He is 2 years old now. We've seen so much growth from him both academically and socially. Each morning he was excited to go to school, and he loved chattering about what they did each day. Anna and Julie (JuJu) runs this place like if their children is also attending. They pay very high attention to detail and genuinely love children. Every morning when I drop off my daughter they are always smiling and welcoming her with big open arms. My daughter has been there for a year now and she always come home happy. The growth we have seen is also very noticeable, from motor and physical skill to speaking and being able to express herself more. Anna also host various events/holiday throughout the year. I am happy I chose Little Goose for my baby girl as her first school! It is a cozy family daycare with two kind teachers: Anna and Julie. Both of them are friendly and professional. Besides, the daycare schedule is excellent, and teachers will teach them in English and Chinese. It has many funny toys and a small garden with organic fruit. Every time I picked up my girl, she always had some snacks or fruit in her mouth. Two weeks after I sent my baby girl there, they could remember what my girl liked to eat. I thought Little Goose Daycare would be a good daycare for my child. They seem genuinely caring and compassionate with children. However, after only 7 days with this daycare, I encountered issues that I wanted other prospective parents to be aware of. Wish I had known the following about Little Goose Daycare before attending: #1 Deceptive masking protocol - During the initial tour, Ms. Anna (the owner) confirmed she and the other teacher are masked as the children are too young and not expected to wear masks. Yet, on multiple occasions, I was sent photos which showed staff not wearing a mask near my child. Staff even came to the door at pickup time and did not wear a mask. When staff tested positive for COVID-19, I asked Ms. Anna why the masking had been so relaxed. Ms. Anna stated that staff wear masks when they can, but it is too hard to mask for the entire day, and she cannot legally require masking. This is NOT how their protocol was presented on the tour! (My partner and I are both nurses. We know it is challenging, but possible, to wear masks for an entire shift) One of the reasons I chose Little Goose Daycare was because Ms. Anna stated the staff wear masks. To find this protocol not enforced and then to have an outbreak come from staff was very frustrating. #2 COVID-19 policy not in accordance with public health guidelines - When signing up with Little Goose Daycare, Ms. Anna never provided me with a copy of their Sick Policy, which in hindsight, seems like an important omission by the owner. Only after a staff member caused a COVID-19 exposure, I realized just how impossible their policy is. Little Goose Daycare only allows a child who tests positive for COVID-19 to return before 10 days with a negative PCR. The issue is that places like Kaiser will not perform another PCR within 90 days of a positive test. This means an asymptomatic child who tests positive for COVID-19 could not return to Little Goose Daycare with only a negative home test and pediatrician note - the child must stay home for a full 10 days! Little Goose Daycare's COVID-19 policy goes against California Public Health and CDC guidelines. This makes it difficult for an infected child to return quickly and parents will be forced to keep their child at home longer than necessary. #3 Unprofessional - When I raised some of these issues with Ms. Anna by phone she refused to listen to my concerns, took no accountability, and became defensive. In our conversation she spoke over me and lectured me about regulations and public health. She may be careful and compassionate when she deals with children, but Ms. Anna could use some of that care and compassion in her communication with parents. I only intended to discuss my concerns, but after the shockingly disrespectful tone Ms. Anna took on our phone call I decided to no longer do business with Little Goose Daycare. I understand Little Goose Daycare is a private business that can set their own protocols. Just wanted other parents to be aware of some issues I experienced if you are considering this place for your child. read more

Our daughter joined the daycare when she was 15 months. She was taken care of very well by Ms. Anna and Ms. Julie and she was thriving! I was very nervous when first sending her in. She was clingy at home. The teachers was very loving and patient. They held her as long as she needed, and gently let her do things in her pace. Within one week, she started to relax and joined the other kids in circle time and play. Within two weeks she would smile and wave good bye to us when we dropped her off. My daughter also learned a lot from the daycare. She started to sing and dance along when we play the classic baby songs. She got a lot of new words both in English and Chinese. Oh did I mention the snacks and lunch prepared by our daycare? she really enjoyed the food there and always ate a lot more than at home! LoL! Also there are often special occasions like birthday and Holidays. My daughter often brought home balloon and hum Happy Birthday song on our way home.
