For some reason I assumed she had moved out of the area and was doing hair elsewhere, so I found another salon on Yelp with good reviews and called to make an appointment. I have very unique needs for my hair so I asked if there was someone who specialized in my hair type. They gave me an appt with a stylist and I assumed I was in good hands. I came to my appt armed with about 4 photos of what I wanted my hair to look like - all they while knowing that there would need to be some modifications. Needless to say, the cut didn't turn out well but the color did. I paid a quite a bit to have my hair butchered and was encouraged by some friends to go back to have it fixed. But if he messed it up once, why chance it again? Thankfully I grew a brain and decided to look Tami up. I was willing to travel for her to fix this mess. Thank the Lord she is still local! I was able to get in to see her immediately and she made my hair look like a million bucks This woman is an artist. She is passionate about what she does and it shows. I specifically made my appointment 9 days in advance because I was attending a wedding and needed a guaranteed time slot for a blowout. When booking, I clearly repeated the correct Saturday three separate times, yet the appointment was still scheduled for the wrong date. I understand mistakes happen, so as soon as I received the confirmation text with the incorrect date, I immediately called to have it corrected. The receptionist assured me it would be fixed. Several days later, I then received a text from the stylist saying my appointment had been canceled and asking if I wanted to book another one. I replied right away explaining that I had never canceled my appointment. Since I received no response, I decided to call myself because the last thing I wanted was to be left without service on the day of the wedding. Madison, the stylist, told me that I had originally been booked on the wrong date and that the time I requested was no longer available. She offered me a different time, but that was extremely frustrating since my entire day had already been planned around the original appointment. I then asked to be booked with another stylist at the time I needed. She promised to get back to me -- but never did. No one followed up, no one fixed the mistake, and no one even apologized for the inconvenience. The complete lack of communication and accountability was incredibly disappointing and unacceptable from a customer service standpoint.
