In 2007, Richard and Carmin Odom moved from Alabama to Strawberry, Arkansas to provide their two sons with a healthier environment to grow up in. Richard Odom, founder, realized there would always be a need for farmers. An essential part of any community is the men and women who produce food. A local grower can become a national one, given time and the appropriate channels. There was no better time to take the leap into the industry, and that is exactly what the Odom family did. From 2007 to 2011 the Odom family raised poultry for Peco and Pilgrim's Pride. The Odom family saw a need in their community for more local suppliers and construction services as there were only two equipment and construction businesses in the area. Between the local services being costly due to limited resources and long waiting times for orders to arrive, The Odom Family opened Strawberry Poultry Supply in 2011 to meet the demand for service.
