We found out about Gary Benner on the Next Door App. Due to recent changes in our backyard landscape due to pool and tree removal followed by a year of excessive rain we sought estimates for hardscaping. Gary came in with the best estimate, but that was not the only reason we knew he was the guy for the job. When he came to our home he really listened to our concerns. He readily recognized some drainage issues and was sure to address them in our plan/estimate. His team (Jason, Tyler, and one other young man) was hardworking and focused despite challenges with rain and mud. Gary was onsite every day to address any of our questions. We had full trust and they did not disappoint. Upon completion of the job they cleaned our deck and driveway. We will be utilizing his team for more sod. He uses Eagle Bay pavers for his hardscaping. As I'm trying to figure out how to continue caring for my lawn I realized I never wrote a review for this company. I was needing to get my front lawn redone. Yelp pointed me here. I called up Gary and he told me my options after his initial inspection. I have 1400sq/ft. I wanted sod so we talked grass species. I decided on Tall Fescue and he gave me a window for install. That happened mid February. He and his guys showed up at 7am and were done by 11ish. Quick, professional, and clean. Posted are before and after pics. I know they do landscaping also but I did that myself. It's now end of july and the grass is looking great. Some dry and dead spots but that's no fault of his. That's where I'm doing my research on how to save it. read more

Stay away from this business. No service after the sale. Even when admitting they made a mistake, they continuously break their promises to fix the problem. Go elsewhere and avoid the aggravation. read more

Excellent service with trained and professional staff offering excellent estimates and working hard leaving everything in perfect condition.

Hired to repair drainage problem and do grading and install sod in a small area behind our building. The price was much hire than other estimates but I wanted to go with the "best" so I wouldn't have to worry. They provided professional estimate in writing with photos and description of work. Had to wait 2 months because of their work load but felt it would be worth it. They were a bit difficult to work with on the grading doing the minimum and I kept having to ask to do better. They kept saying that's not what we estimated as if I was asking them to do extra. They immediately cut the communications cable which knocked our business off line. It wasn't their fault but they didn't know what to do to help us get back online. They broke off a large sewer vent pipe and didn't offer to help repair. Said it was rusted. They didn't sod everything because they underestimated the amount needed. They added grass seed to the bare area but only some tufts of grass grew. We still have standing water along the foundation and some low spots that will need more top soil to get the water to flow towards the drains they installed. The work did not turn out to be as good as I hoped based on the proposal, price and conversation. Nice enough people but difficult to work with and puts client on the defense. The pressure was on getting it done as opposed to getting it right. Our entire office complex needs landscaping so I'm glad we tested them on a small area first because I would not want to go through that stress again. read more
