They get new records here as well as having a large selection of older/used records. There's also a clearance section that's fun to go through. The owner here is very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. I also love that there are a few listening stations if you want to spin some of the used records here. Oh, and they also participate in Record Store Day and ask for requests if you want any of the releases published on the site. Also, note that they aren't kidding with the name. It literally is a single large record room. And I got a little confused when I first came here - I got to the spot Waze brought me to based on the address and the building looks like a large government building / library in the artsy area of Riverside. So I thought I misunderstood when I found this place on Google maps and thought it was an actual building that contained official records. That is until I saw the sign on the corner pointing towards the shop. I followed the sign until I saw another sign leading me down some stairs into the entrance of this record room/ shop. But all of them are pretty overpriced - not just for the quality of the record but in comparison to other shops. I saw records that you can easily find a VG or VG+ copy for $15-20 priced double that or more. As well, it doesn't appear that they clean their records as the several that I got were very dirty. All in all a nice shop and nice people but I won't shop there again because of the very inflated pricing.

Prices were reasonable: about seven bucks for most issues and one $35 comic my son proudly bought with his own money. I let him live his best life. The plot twist came a week later when he sat down to read everything... and realized he accidentally bought three copies of the same comic because the covers were different. Variant covers: 1. Newbies: 0. A tiny heads‑up from the cashier would've saved us from the accidental collector's edition starter pack. As soon as we walked in, there was a live stream going on, and the cashier came across pretty loud and a bit intimidating, at least from my teenager's perspective. To keep things simple, I just told him to grab what he was looking for and we'd head out. While he browsed, I ended up finding a couple of records for myself too. I looked up "records" on Yelp since I've been looking to rebuild my music collection with the termination of Spotify. It's got this old school arcade vibe, but there's a small rack with CDs, a section for records, another section for manga, merch and t-shirts in the back, and old school video games, consoles, and other stuff you can buy. There are two cabinets that allow you to pick games that you want to play, but don't take too long or you'll lose your credit. These games take quarters, so that's my gripe and what the minus one star is for. The workers here are cool and chill. There's a vending machine for snacks. I'll probably come by again one day when I'm in the area. It reminds of of the small arcades back in the day, so it's a nice trip to Nostalgia Town. There were two buddies who came in and got what sounded like was $20 worth of quarters to play. That was really awesome to hear a big chunk of quarters get dispensed. Have fun if you go!
