We came here for lunch today to try street tacos in Casa Grande on our road trip today. Seeing the banner on the outside that said they were voted the best in 2025 was a good sign. We got the taco combo plate and 3 single tacos. I chose the chicken, pork and steak and he got chicken, steak and birria ($1.25 extra). First off, these street tacos are packed with meat which was good to see. I love trying street tacos and I've tried many. For me, the flavor of the al pastor (pork) was the best of the meats. Second to that was the steak. The others didn't have a lot of noticeable flavor imo. I did slather each of them in the red and green salsas to add some moisture and added heat. As for the side of rice and beans, I liked the beans, they were cooked well and had good flavor. The rice we got was hard and seemed to have been in a warmer or something for too long since it was crispy and dry. This could have been a "one off" type situation. A good while ago they changed from Street King to Street Queen & I love them even more! Go Queens! Fast, no frills dining, furiously good Mexican food. Limited seating. Clean & friendly! Quesadillas are the best I've found in AZ - crisp outside, cheesy & meat filled inside, made to blow your socks off. *Street Queen Quesadilla is 5-6" *Extreme Queen is 13.5" Fat with tender Carne Asada, onion, lime, cilantro, cheese & guacamole. And, yep, you can order the big ones with your choice of meat or go straight cheese. If I'm feeling extra hungry or have to share, I get the big one! Both are perfectly priced and make me not want to eat afterwards so the great taste can linger longer on the lips. Say that fast, lol. Bonus: if you're feeling like extra fun, you can order a cocktail or good tequila, too. Can't say enough nice stuff about this small, locally owned taco joint. They've got another one in Maricopa if you're up there, but the Casa Grande location is the original. TLDR: Yum. Must eat here. Prices are good. This taco spot was decent overall, but there were a few things that kept it from being great. The inside is fine, but it is very small with limited seating. Not horrible, but it definitely feels more like a quick eat or takeout kind of place. I ordered the taco combo which comes with 3 tacos, rice, and beans. I got asada, pollo, and birria. The pollo taco was the best of the three and actually had really good flavor. The asada and birria were a bit disappointing though. Both tasted kind of bland and did not have the bold seasoning I was expecting. They have two salsas, red and green, and both bring the heat. The red is pretty hot and the green is really hot, so if you like spicy food you will probably love them. The rice was not great. It tasted dry and almost overcooked, with that crunchy texture like it had been sitting too long. Overall it was still a decent meal and a fair value, but the flavors were inconsistent. If they improved the rice and added more seasoning to the asada and birria, this place could easily be a 5 star spot. read more

It was easy to find, and crowded, but the line moved quickly and the wait for our food was pretty quick. We each had a 13.5" quesadilla. Mine was cheese and I was stuffed with half of it. Definitely didn't need the 13.5". My husband had the large quesadilla with everything. It was very juicy (I.e. he got it all over his clothes) and tasty he said. It, like mine, was too much food for him to eat. Overall it was a very good experience. No "ambiance" - it's just a little shop in a strip mall, but that was ok with us. read more

I decided to take advantage of your taco Tuesday special which included three tacos, rice, and beans. And since it had been forever since I had a quesadilla, I decided to get one of those too. Wow, wow, and wow every bite of the quesadilla was crunchy and had a great hint of salt and savor. Honestly it was one of the best quesadillas Ive had in a very long time. Now the Taco Tuesday special was delicious as well. Three well stuffed carne asado tacos with onions and cilantro and three limes on the side along with thick cut grilled onions! I got double beans instead of the rice and I loved that the beans were thick and whole! Every bite of my meal was amazing and I have tons of leftovers for just $15!! For some reason, I thought I had already written a review here. There is nothing bad about this restaurant. I got the queso birria tacos, and a side of refried beans. The tacos were spectacular, the consommé was perfect. The refried beans seemed like they were made from scratch and they were very good. I could have eaten a whole bowl of just the beans. The tacos were large enough that two of them were quite filling. I really can't say enough about how good they were. I look forward to trying the rest of their menu. read more

This is my go to place when I am in Casa Grande. Everything that I have had there has been delicious! I've had the rice, chicken, birria, and Carne Asada tacos. All great! The food is really good but a little pricey. My favorites are the Birria Ramen and the Carne Asada Quesadilla.

Located about 2 miles west of I-10 this makes for a delicious stop when visiting the outlets in Florence. We've been here twice under such circumstances, both times around 5-6pm and it's always been busy, with a short line of 5-6 people in front of us. They don't take phone orders or reservations. There are just two tables that seat 6 and then a bar-like slab that circumnavigates the interior walls with about 8 bar stools. No bathrooms, bring wipes! The best items are the quesabirria tacos because they have a substantial amount of meat and are perfectly pan-fried ($3.50) and the birria ramen soup ($10) - despite the ramen tasting more like it came from a ready-made dry ramen package that was reconstituted, the soup and the birria were delicious. We've also had their quesadilla which comes with carne asada topped with a bit of sour cream and guac. At 6 inches in diameter it's a good buy for $5.25 but we felt the cheese was overwhelming and the quesadilla too salty. Finally, the al pastor street taco ($2.25) had good flavors but the pork (small/chopped cubes) was a bit dry. Toppings (grilled onions, chopped onion; cilantro, cabbage) were all super fresh and plentiful. We will continue to drop by whenever in Florence! Parking is sufficient in the front of this tiny strip mall. Expect to wait about 6-8 minutes to receive food with no line and, more typically, about 20 minutes when there is a line. Ordering is done at the counter (with the "tablet spin" to answer a few questions) and you bus your own table when you're done. I love visiting smaller restaurants, so of course I had to stop here. I visited by myself one afternoon, and was so excited about it that I returned a week later with my wife. We ordered a variety of things, and everything was delicious: the quesa birria tacos, the al pastor corn tacos, the quesadilla, the carne asada nachos, the burrito. The rice was better than average. The 2 salsa -- red is primarily chile de arbol, green is primarily jalapeño -- were both spicy, but felt "authentic." Next time I go, I'll just get a few quesa birria tacos with the consomme, and one of each of the salsa. My gut may complain because it's so rich, but it'll be worth it because they are just so delicious. It's a small place, and often busy, so consider ordering ahead and/or taking it to go. That said, we ate there, and enjoyed the bustling ambiance. I'd give it a 4.5 stars ... but had to choose between 4 and 5 ... and since I am cautious with my 5-star ratings, I had to give it a 4. This place is the most authentic that I've experienced here in Casa Grande since we moved here two years ago. Tacos are delicious and true to the name "street tacos" including all the condiments. I definitely want to try their baked "loaded" potatoes- papas locas on my next visit-yum! I also love that they add roasted jalepanos to their plates.
