[[HIGHLIGHT]]We kept driving past this place because it doesn't look like much from the street. It's bigger inside than it looks. Lots of character and chunky booths[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There is one large table in the front for big parties, do call first if you are a big group.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I love their chips and salsas, plus bean dip. Our server was very helpful and sweet! The menu is extensive and does have a lot of seafood options and not all the typical Sonoran offerings. I opted for the combo with taco, cheese enchilada and chili rellano. The Hubbs chose to start with the Habanero wings and two tacos from the Taco Tuesday options. He upgraded to crispy shells with cheese. Everything was very good. I love their red enchilada sauce. We had more than enough yo share. The only thing that was less than perfect was my fish taco. I ordered the crispy fish (rather than grilled), but it wasn't crispy at all. The Hubbs like the salsa so much that we got a quart container to go. We also shared a frozen margarita which was nice but could use more lime. Definitely a good option for a different Mexican food experience.

Friend team, great food, good prices. Definitely one of my go-to spots when craving some good tacos.

Good looking taco Tuesday menu! Came in on a Tuesday night. Looks like the football team was there for dinner. We were sat right away by the front door. Which needs to be fixed as it slams shut. We ordered some of the taco Tuesday tacos. They were normal sized and packed with flavor. They offered us chips & salsa with a side of refried beans. We ordered horchata which was good but kind of pricey. They only have one size. Overall a good experience and they have a drive-thur option.

I arrived in Casa Grande hungry and did a Yelp search for Mexican food. One of the options was Mr. Baja Taqueria. It wasn't far from the hotel, so the Mr. & I decided to give it a go. The complimentary starter of salsa and bean dip was tasty. The chips were warm. The house margarita was a little on the sweet side, but not terrible. I ordered one of my favs, which is a chile rellano, no rice, just beans. I was presented with a beautiful plate of food. I loved that it included a fresh salad and a dob of sour cream on top of the chile rellano. I have never seen that touch before. We also received a container of home-made tortillas. I could have eaten those by themselves. I am from Texas and we eat Mexican food at least once a week, so I think I am a good judge of what's good and what isn't. This was great! If I was a local I'd be a regular!!

I love this place. I'm from CG and I think it's the best in town. The bean dip is amazing and I always get the #3 green sauce enchiladas.

Meal started with a salsa dip and a bean dip (was not expecting a bean dip but when I wrapped my mind around the second sauce not being a salsa, I actually enjoyed the dip very much). The restaurant has changed its menu so some previous menu items are not listed and prices have also increased. We had previously seen a deal for Taco Tuesdays and asked the waiter about it. She said it wasn't currently listed on the menu but is going on ($1.90 tacos). We ended up sharing a fried fish and fried shrimp taco plate and three tacos. The fried fish taco was superior to the fried shrimp taco. The fish pieces were huge! and the breading was thin, crispy, delicious. I was happy with the other three tacos too but would only return during the taco tuesday deal. Would recommend the fried fish taco, overall happy with our experience.

4 's simply because the breading was a touch heavy. Flavor of the tortillas, fish, sauce and green salsa was excellent. I'll be back to try other items.

2 taco plate: Battered Fish Taco, Battered Shrimp Taco, comes with rice and beans - yum!

Have come here twice for take out in 2 weeks! Recommend: 1. Battered Fish Taco 2. Grilled Shrimp Taco 3. Adobada Taco They have a 2 taco plate which comes with refried beans (yum) and fluffy Mexican rice. I tried getting a 2 taco plate with battered fish AND battered shrimp before but it was too much oily batteredness so even though it was tasty, I got tired of batter by the second taco. I'd recommend getting one battered, one grilled! Service is great and the indoor seating looks really clean. Food takes about 7 minutes to come out. They also have a drive through window that is very convenient.

We got the taco combo plate and 3 single tacos. I chose the chicken, pork and steak and he got chicken, steak and birria ($1.25 extra). First off, these street tacos are packed with meat which was good to see. I love trying street tacos and I've tried many. For me, the flavor of the al pastor (pork) was the best of the meats. Second to that was the steak. The others didn't have a lot of noticeable flavor imo. I did slather each of them in the red and green salsas to add some moisture and added heat. As for the side of rice and beans, I liked the beans, they were cooked well and had good flavor. The rice we got was hard and seemed to have been in a warmer or something for too long since it was crispy and dry. This could have been a "one off" type situation. The interior dining area is small but that's to be expected for this type of taco shop. The staff there today seemed nice and genuinely care about their customers.

Well, today happened to be Tuesday and outside of their door they had posted specials and one was for Taco Tuesday. Three tacos for about eleven dollars and some change. So I took advantage of that and ordered one adobada and two chicken tacos. The tacos were brought out with three bottles of salsa; one green, two reds at different spice levels. The tacos fell flat! The adobada was hard and crispy with little flavor. The meat was cut too small in my opinion, which may have resulted in its crispness. The two chicken tacos were bland, lacked flavor. I did like the fact they were cut thicker and were meaty and juicy. But it needed seasoning. The sauces also lacked flavor. None were spicy. Even the small bottled red salsa which I assumed was the spicier one wasn't spicy at all. After this experience, I don't think I'll be back anytime soon, but you'll never know! Like I said, I love Peruvian food; so maybe that's where their forte lies!

I'm always wary of Mexican restaurants that make you pay for chips and salsa. Yes, the salsa is made to order tableside, but to not even offer a red sauce to go with entrees!!! Oh you can buy some - made tableside. This is a big miss! Food presentation was nice, especially the small salad with radishes. You get 1 small cup of green sauce if you want sauce to go on your items. Didn't understand the meats all being done on the trompo. Usually pastor is done that way, but not asada etc .. The menu is attractive but seems disjointed - not a lot of description on dishes, and because of how it's presented, not a lot of variety. For example, a taco dorado is often a hard shell taco as opposed to soft or street taco style. Their dorado is a potato taco? Is it like a flauta? Took a while to get my beer, and my water glass was empty a very long time until I asked our server to fill it and for another green sauce. That never came until I reminded him when he brought our tab. He didn't check on us at all during our meal, but hung out in the bar area. That's right, he was new. Hope he improves because most guests won't dig his style of service.
