I was able to understand new mathematical topics very quickly based on the strong fundamentals that built into the new topic. None of the "just use this formula" method that I was told so many times in school. I got to the point where even if I didn't memorize a formula, like they make you do in school, I was easily able to derive the formula from my understanding of the mathematical building blocks that the formula was based on. Because of this, I was able to excel at Algebra, Pre-Calculus, and AP Calculus BC. This was also very helpful in the SAT and SAT Math II where there is a broad range of topics which I also did very well in. I have been a tutor myself and have been tutored by others, but George is his own league. He really cares and you can really tell even after one session. But Ben Sexton was able to identify exactly where her skills were lacking and help her raise her math score by several points, even though we had previously tried other test prep tutors who weren't successful. Ben really came at things from a strategic perspective my daughter could relate to, and explained his plan and thinking before hand. He also tutors in person and came directly to our house, which was very convenient, and proved flexible working with my daughter's schedule as well. My child was unable to attend high school almost her entire junior and senior years. Quantum Prep did not just teach my child the course materials and test prep, they motivated my child actually go above and beyond what was required. My child's work ethic, organizational and critical thinking skills, and self-confidence significantly improved under Quantum Prep's guidance. These skills have now transferred to post-high school life and I couldn't be happier.

I can honestly say without him, i don't know how I would of finished taking both courses. The lecturers and the TAs didn't communicate the material nearly as clearly and in a shorter time span as he did. He is clear and patient, and wants you to truly learn the material, not just get through a test or assignment. It is clear that he knows his material. Moreover he's very flexible with tutoring time and will take as much time and sessions needed until you understand the material. Being an athlete, my free is greatly limited, but he still found time to make sessions flexible to my schedule to his greatest ability. With my experience with him, if there were more teachers as clear and knowledgable as him, then class would be more clear and interesting and easier to follow. But in real-life situations, tutors such as Solomon are there to bridge the gap and help you succeed. I know I'll be using Quantum Tutoring in the future, especially as I get ready for MCATs, not to mention exams and tests.

We greatly appreciate Mrs. Yount's insightful knowledge and advice about the current landscape of high school applications. BTC's programs addressed my child's academic weaknesses and brought out his strengths. After an initial assessment, BTC offered us two types of help. The first part was weekly one-on-one tutoring, which focused on academic work, training my child to form good habits of learning as well as test-taking. The second part of the BTC program was a highly individualized consultation. Mrs. Yount had a comprehensive review with my child about many aspects of high school applications and patiently worked with him to improve his presentations. She provided advice to us, helping to narrow down the best-fit high schools. She also kindly accommodated our schedule changes. BTC has gone beyond helping my child to improve test-taking skills.
