I've been trying to find a salon for getting pedicures that won't lift my nails or the polish won't peel off within a few days. Finally! Nadia was meticulous in my pedicure and so very nice, so was the rest of the staff. The salon was very neat and clean, very comfy with stylish chairs to sit in during the pedicure. I highly recommend this salon!

I have really bad luck at hair salons for some reason…read more First visit - the stylist asked if she could trim my hair a tiny amount (like 1/4") and I said yes. She took more like 3" off the back. By the time I saw how much she finished trimming. Admittedly, it felt a lot healthier but don't tell a client you're only going to do a LIGHT TRIM, then take at least 3" off. I asked my husband how much was removed from the length when I got home and he said about 3". It's not just me who could tell it wasn't just a "trim". It was definitely a cut. The quality of her cut was very good, and she did what she called "invisible layers" which also turned out, well, invisible! I couldn't tell where they layers were but she said she did them. I have no reason to not believe she did. The blowout was a horrendous style but nobody has ever been able to style myhair. This was no different. My bangs were in my eyes no matter how hard I tried pushing them aside so they'd stop poking me in the eye-balls. My husband laughed when I walked through the door. He said, "what the h*** is that?!" We've been married over 30 years so he can say what he's thinking and I don't get upset. I thought the same thing about the blowout. It was absolutely hideous but the price was reasonable for all the work she did and I loved the owner and listening to her talking with her client, so I thought I'd give them another shot and scheduled another appointment. I'm very forgiving. It's my nature. Second visit - I resigned myself to forgetting about the length issue since pretty much every salon I've ever allowed to TRIM my hair, actually cut much more off the length than they claimed they were going to. I asked for my color to be changed to a burgundy shade to give it more pop. I left with my hair wet because I was in a hurry. There was zero noticeable color difference. In fact, it looked pretty much the same exact color as when I left the first time, only no grey roots which was the main reason I started getting my hair done at a salon. I've gone many years without coloring my hair and it was time I gave myself an overhaul so I had my first color done at MGM in Las Vegas which turned out spectacular. I came here for a touch-up the first visit but I really wanted to go more vivid so the second visit I was excited when I arrived, but terribly disappointed when I got home and my hair had dried. Third visit - This morning, I had a 9AM appointment with 2 hours before I had to be somewhere. I arrived almost 10 minutes early which is usually plenty of time to check in and be ready to get started. The stylist wasn't on prem at the time I arrived. Not a huge deal since I expected her to arrive any time. It was almost 9:05AM when the nice woman at the front desk called my stylist to see if she was on her way. Well, she wasn't. She completely flaked out and all I could overhear was the woman at the front desk saying, "...20 minutes?" I looked up in disbelief, completely frustrated by this last chance I was going to give this place and I shook my head no and walked out. She was apologetic but it wasn't her fault. If you want to go to this salon, I'd advise against making an appointment with Carolyn (sp?) but ask for the owner. She's delightful, very knowledgeable, and I could tell she has repeat clients who have been coming to her for a while. Unfortunately, I won't step foot in the place ever again because I don't want to deal with the hassle I've had to put up with so far. I'm trying to give local businesses, my business, but this place was a total fail for me. The star rating is because of my experience but isn't a reflection of the owner herself. If she makes any staffing changes, I might consider going back.

The estheticians are knowledge and I always walk out feeling super satisfied with the results. The products are organic plant/fruit based and they actually work!! I have been so happy switching out my skincare for Eminence. It's not like a traditional Spa with locker rooms and steam rooms but the house has a nice relaxing feel inside. Very warm, calming and quiet. The only thing that could make this place better is online scheduling.

I had a very unfortunate interaction with the owner. I had a less than satisfactory experience with…read moreone of the massage therapists, it was a very strange massage and was unlike anything I had previously experienced there. First the essential oils placed under my face gave me quite a migraine. I have a herniated disc in my neck which I acknowledge that sometimes that could be an issue but for me this has never been a problem during massages. For some reason she placed several, and I mean several, hot towels on my neck which was immediately pretty painful as this was heavy to be placed with heat on a herniated disc, no matter how healed. Then she quite literally covered me in lotion, like a ridiculous amount where I couldn't even get dressed, barely touched me and ran out of the room, almost before I could even ask her for a towel (I was literally drenched in lotion) and before the session was supposed to be over. So I was left in more pain plus a migraine with a shortened session and covered in lotion, and I did notice that she didn't greet me afterwards to offer me water and make sure I'm doing good like they usually do here. This was all very strange and bizarre, but I assumed maybe this had to do with inexperience and wanted to leave feedback as to why this wasn't the best experience, especially since this is a luxury service that wasn't cheap. The owner called me the next day, and she was genuinely one of the most hostile and unpleasant people I had ever talked to. I am not a confrontational person, and I do think I was being reasonable in leaving feedback. She called me and told me that there is absolutely no way that any of this happened, and that she "welcomes me to not return". I told her that this was unfortunate to hear because I had such positive experiences in the past there, to which she told me I didn't go there enough times to have that much of an opinion. She kept telling me that I am more than welcome to not return, and at this point I wasn't going to but I just wanted her to tell me directly that she was banning me from returning for having a negative experience. She was avoiding saying explicitly that I could not return, but she kept insisting I was welcome to go elsewhere. I told her I would probably leave a review of the situation, to which she said "well that's not very nice of you". I told her it's not very nice to ban me for expressing concerns with my session. She hung up the phone abruptly, and the next day another staff member called and offered to reschedule me with someone else. I politely declined. I also want to mention that the ramp to get in the door is extremely inaccessible, I am a wheelchair user and it's borderline hazardous the way it is oriented. If I am to open the door, I have to be on the ramp which is difficult, or the door will push me down the stairs. If you use a mobility aid or have chronic pain I would not recommend, not because of the staff but 100% because of the owner.

I will likely try this place one more time with another massage therapist and revise my review appropriately, as I did really like how I was treated before and after the massage and because I came to this place seeing that it has some great reviews. So, here we go: Pros: 1. Welcoming staff. 2.Good costumer service after the fact 3. Quaint feel Cons: *1. The massage therapist's service--no continuity/flow in the massage, she jumped from one body part to another haphazardly and quickly (within a minute she would jump from my shoulders, to my shins, back to my shoulders), pressure of massage was also not uniform and seemed haphazard as well; --I felt stressed during/end of the massage 2. The massage therapist's commentary--I heard about medication she was taking and then not taking, I heard about her dog, I heard about her sister, I heard about sunglasses she took off a rack at a store-- multiple topics that jumped around quickly as well. 3.Not sure what the scent was at the time of the massage, but this was not something that I preferred--I realize that this point is more subjective of an experience and that others may be fine with the scent--this point did NOT contribute to the star rating. -I got this massage in 2017. I did not return for an additional massage, but would still consider getting another one here, but with a different massage therapist.
