I have been flying into Clearview for over 40 years. Not much has changed with it except they have…read moremaintained it and the runway is in about as good shape as it has ever been. It is a short field and narrow so it can be challenging. You need to be on your game. I fly a Bonanza in and out of there with no issues. If you are landing to the northwest on 32 I suggest using the taxiway by the office building as your landing point. Trying to land on first part of the runway with the significant slope causes many to dive, bounce and generally screw the landing up. Landing on 14 you do have to go in a gap between trees but it is very wide and of no issue. I would not fly in there at night unless you are very proficient. The pilot shop is very well stocked, a miniature aircraft spruce. The prices are very fair and the gentlemen running it are very nice and take their time with you. There are a few very neat model kits that have been long out of production that I am always tempted to purchase. Also a great community.

He was very nice on the phone and quickly communicated over email and he informed me that his wife would be the driver, no problem as he said she was licensed to drive. The car was on time for the day of the event , big problem their was someone in the passenger seat. When I asked who was in the car she informed me it was her mother,,, really!!!! She apologized and said should have called to ask if it was ok. Needless to say my son was very disappointed and bothered and we did not have a choice seeing he would have been late for dinner and his prom if I made her take her home. So he had to suck it up. It looked like he was being driven by his Aunt and Grandmother to the prom. I spoke to William several days later and he informed me that it was a "training ride" for his mother-in-law to become a driver to help out. Interesting fact, mother-in-law, was not in the car when my son was dropped off at 11:30 PM that night. I think it was a chance for his wife and mother-in-law to have a night out while they waited while the prom was going on. Needless to say I was very disappointed with the professionalism that was shown and would not recommend William's. I also paid top dollar for the evening and the price I paid was in the ball park of other companies. Figured I would try to help a local guy out. He did offer me a free upgrade and a 20% discount off my next rental, but don't plan on using a limo service anytime soon. A 100 dollar refund would have been better, but William was not willing to do that. Just make sure your not being used as a training run when you book your car with him. My neighbors and I will not be using his service in the future.

We were with 10 other people who were shuttled to a friends wedding by K D Elite. Here'e the thing, the driver of the huge bus got lost getting to the Springhill Suites in Aberdeen where we all were (which seems weird as its not that hard to get to). Apparently his GPS led him the wrong way. that's fine, we had plenty of time to get there, we would have only missed the schmoozing. Also, there'd been miscommunication between the company and the bride and groom leading into the wedding about pick-up times. They wanted to pick us up at 11:15pm, 45 minutes after the wedding ended and the bride spent hours on the phone with them telling them to change this. On my end i'm just confused why they sent such a huge bus for 12 people? Honestly I give this company 3 stars because our driver Harris was great and should get a huge raise. Especially because someone blew threw a red light on our way to wedding and hit the bus. Everyone was okay, thankfully. but yeah.
