This membership was the one thing I didn't know I needed! Since I've been going the past couple of months, I am able to move so much easier. For the last several years, I have had to wait a few seconds (before moving) going from a seated position to standing to make sure everything is okay. Now, I am able to go from a seated position to standing and move right away in one seamless motion (most times, lol). Also, I am able to lean over in my car and pick up things that drop to the floor. I haven't been able to do this either for the past several years. Full disclosure, I've been working on losing weight also, and this has also assisted with my restored mobility. StretchLab is the thing you didn't know you needed. All the benefits of stretching are true. I popped into this center on w whim, saw the flexologists in action, talked to the owner and gave it a try. Several months later, I'm a member who goes once a week and feels great. I swear I'm a few inches taller at the end of my 50 min session because the team focuses on areas of need and tracks progression. I alternate between Yusuf and Sherri but they all seem amazing. The atmosphere is chill. You can indulge in hot tea and a massage chair. The place is very clean and they sanitize the tables after every session. Do it for yourself, if you can. read more

I'd like to take a minute to highly recommend StretchLab Columbia as one of the best things you can do for yourself. I have enjoyed every session that I've had with them, and it has helped me become a lot more limber, flexible, and overall improved well-being. It's almost like the best part of getting a massage whereby the benefit is your in touch with all of the muscles that you need to be and they are usable and not painful. I also must commend the ownership and management as being entirely professional and involved in their business. From the friendly greeting of the hostess at the front desk, (Hannah) to all of the flexilogist's that provide the flex sessions, I have had really great and friendly interactions with all of them. If you are looking to get more in touch with your overall well-being and enjoy the benefits of a massage without all the squeezing and kneading that massages require then a flex session is for you. 10 out of 10! I've been going to Stretch Lab Columbia for two months. My initial reason was a should injury that resulted in loss of full range of motion. What I quickly realized was at 66 years of age my entire body has lost full range of motion. Maybe not as much as my shoulder but it was significant. I continue to go to Stretch Lab because of the positive results I've been getting. Getting back a tremendous amount of flexibility has help me improve my Pickleball game and my gym workouts. The staff of Flexologists are top flight. I've had the pleasure of working with five different flexologist as they recommend switching from time to time. They've all been super attentive to my issues and needs. The environment is professional, clean, calming and friendly. I even bought the T-Shirt! I highly recommend!!!!! read more

But what StretchLab Columbia provided me was is a surgical approach to targeted stretching. The techs carefully aligned me into stretch positions that you wouldnt be able to replicate on your own at home. Thats their magic! They bring a clinical approach to targeted stretching. Each one of them are selectively hired from separate careers in body anatomy from Physical Therapy, Personal Trainers, and Yoga, to Massage Therapy. So, as you expience different sessions with each technician, you get a different but unique approach to the stretches you recieve. I cant recommend this place enough!! StretchLab Columbia will love taking your monthly payment, but watch your banter with a certain flexologist at this location! Maybe ask for a flexologist with a good disposition and a fun sense of humor. One of the many ways we stretch our minds and reduce stress is to indeed talk things out with others. Men like to do this, too! This location's Instagram posts show me as a valued client, sharing my Hershey's treasures and my unique sense of humor to make many--if not all--in the room laugh during their stretching sessions. I'll pass on just seeing another flexologist here. I've learned enough since last year to just do most of these stretches/massages at home or at the gym. You can, too, after a few months. In good faith, I can no longer recommend this StretchLab location. If staff has overly sensitive ears and can't lighten up a bit, I really don't see a successful future for this StretchLab Columbia, MD location. Finally, ask for a flexologist who will speak with you directly about concerns before going to the owner directly. We are all adults here. This was the best professional stretch I've ever had. The staff were incredibly professional and cautious with my injured shoulder and the facilities were sparkling clean and very comfortable. I would 10/10 recommend this for people who have stiffness or pain related to sitting at a computer for long periods of time. The stretch therapists are trained to ease the tension and extend range of motion through stretching exercises. It really is an amazing feeling after a 50 minute session.
