They have private showers rooms just in case you need your space like I do because usually I get ready for work at the gym. There is free coffee if you need a boost before working out. You're basically running on a soft-surfaced treadmill and doing lots of different exercises using your own body weight, free weights, bands, etc. You will be harnessed in so you don't go running off of the front of the machine. You get a heart rate monitor when you arrive. This way you can monitor your heart rate during the work out. Your heart rate and your name will appear on a screen in the studio, along with everyone else in the class. The instructor is really like a coach. She will tell you and others to push harder if your heart rate isn't in a certain zone, but she'll also let you know you should back off if your heart rate gets too high. PACE YOURSELF! Or you may end up light-headed and nauseated like me! Lots of explosive movements. This is definitely a high intensity interval training workout. The greatest difficulty for me is following the routine, like in any fitness class. I'm just not very coordinated. The work out is only 30-45 minutes, which is also nice. There's plenty of parking, but it's kind of awkward. The building where this is located is kind of nondescript and old, but you will find it pretty easily.

At Coreworks, the classes have no more than 8-10 reformers, so the instructor can take the time to help each student with the routines. No two workouts are the same, and classes are never dull. Per the instructions on groupon, I emailed Fran so that I could create a log in online but I didn't hear back from her so I called the office. Once my account was created, I was able to sign up for classes. I was informed before I took any classes I would need to take the Intro to Equipment class. Fran was the instructor. She was patient and helpful as it was my first time and I needed specialized attention. For my second session, I took Reformer I & II with Doreen. Foe my last session I took Tower with a substitute for Doreen. All the instructors were patient, helpful, and friendly. They ask if anyone had injuries and they walk around and if your technique is wrong they adjust and correct you which I greatly appreciated. The classes were challenging to me since I am not good at following directions. Also, if you don't remember instructions well, I recommend taking Intro to Equipment multiple times. I had to look around to see how to do things as I am a visual learner, not an audio learner. The facility is tucked away in the corner and is not visible if you are in the parking lot. Fortunately I saw someone wearing athletic clothes and followed them. The facility is clean and bright. There are two individual restrooms. There is a main room with cubbies. The reformer room also had cubbies. The reformer room was slightly warm even with ceiling fans so I dressed lighter the second and third session. I enjoyed my experience, but could have benefitted from more intro classes. The classes were much different than my normal cardio and strength training classes at my gym. The pace was slower and it was a great way to relieve stress. I highly recommend Core Fitness for Pilates.

Staff is friendly, facility is clean. One frustration is sometimes being abruptly asked to leave a room due to an upcoming class, outside of this love love love this gym. They offer lots of classes, have cleaning wipes and sanitizing sprays for members yo use. They have trainers who offer personal training and also run the classes.

I…read morerecently endured an extremely anxiety-inducing situation at the Supreme gym facility where another member (picture is included) nearly physically assaulted and verbally abused me. The employees at this location sided with the hostile gym member (later on in the altercation the gym member made it obvious that she has an external friendship with the supervisor, Sarah Claunts). Sarah Claunts, the day time gym supervisor, spoke to me in a condescending and sarcastic manner while I explained to her the situation. Long story short: I played music softly (emphasis on softly because the volume was less than halfway on) while warming up in an open workout studio. The hostile gym member was on the opposite end of the room doing their workout. As soon as they heard my music, they immediately started screaming "NO NO TURN YOUR MUSIC OFF I AM NOT GOING TO HEAR IT". Considering the individual was so hostile, I ignored them and turned my music down. The individual then began to approach me while saying "IM SPEAKING ENGLISH DONT YOU UNDERSTAND ENGLISH?! TURN IT OFF". At this point, the individual was now hovering over me while I sat on the ground, all while they clenched their fist and screamed so aggressively I even felt spit come out of their mouth. I explained this situation to the staff, even recorded the situation, and all they could say was delete the footage and don't play music or record ANYTHING/ANYONE in our facility. I immediately sent an email to Columbia association explaining and they could not even apologize for the way I was treated. All they asked was to speak on the phone. I said I wanted to speak through email and they did not want to continue investigating this matter. Attached are photos of the obvious hostile member and how close they were to hitting me. I don't know how else to go about this matter besides warning other people to avoid Columbia in its entirety.

I am 55 years old, 6'1", 182 lbs and used to workout like 20 years ago, then drifted off track for a long time. Here's are the results that have happened since signing up: 1. Wife said, "Hey, your butt was disappearing, but now it is coming back!" 2. I am filling out my shirts and shorts again. 3. I have more energy. 4. ALL physical activities are better. 5. I am watching what I eat a little more consciously. 6. I stopped making excuses for not working out and now somehow I have the time to do it. 7. Since I am actually using what I am paying for, it is a fair value and exceptionally high return on investment for the monthly price. 6. Their web-driven scheduling system allows me to reserve my space in the session that best fits my weekday and time. 7. Forever Strong sends out helpful video emails with new techniques and exercises. I highly recommend Forever Strong for people who are committed to getting stronger, feeling more powerful, and taking their fitness to the next level.

An app tells you what the workout will be, and enables you to track your data. We pre-test certain workouts, build strength, mobility, and skill for about 12 weeks, and then re-test those workouts again. Such a solid, motivating way to see progress. Membership includes a monthly 1:1 with a coach/PT. Membership is not cheap, but hey, we're all going to pay for our health in some way at some point; I'd rather invest this way than spend money on insulin or heart surgery. There are various discounts, including couples and annual memberships. Membership also includes 24 hour access to the facility. I have gotten measurably stronger and more fit in the 6 years I've been working out at Recharge. In that time, they supported me through 2 major orthopedic surgeries, COVID, and menopause. Yikes! One of the very best things about Recharge is the community itself. The coaches and athletes are genuine...it's not a "bro" gym, it's not a place where only the coolest kids merit any assistance. I go 4x/week to workout with my friends. We laugh, cry sometimes, and cheer each other on. And yet it's not clique-y. The community is so strong that we now have social gatherings...there's a book club, bourbon tastings, a monthly game night, and more. Just. Do. It.
