There are balls to borrow so you don't have to bring your own. I called ahead to confirm that a court would be open since they always have other activities going on. We walked on the track upstairs. They have a little sitting area we were able to pack a picnic and snack before going to the pool. The pool entrance has several family bathrooms to change in. Plus the locker rooms. In the locker rooms they have a nice sauna so you can warm up. The pool area the kids love since it is spacious and divided into sections. The younger one enjoyed the water play area and the older ones enjoyed the slide. They were able to go over and over again with little wait. Overall a lot of fun for a family. Cost about $10 per person for a day pass.

Rules are they have to stay within arms length of you though! & only cost guard approved arm floaties/puddle jumpers are allowed here. Day pass good price. $8 I think? I remember a specific time when they got a new hip thrust machine and I wanted to try to figure it out but I just could not, a personal trainer spent around 5 minutes explaining how it worked and correct form and everything. I'm in The Ohio State marching band and I always need somewhere to go when I'm home on winter break before big bowl games to train and Accelerated has always been helpful when I come.

I had the best Savasana in recent memory here: Joanie rubs scented oil on every practioner's temples to encourage full relaxation. Root Company and along a branch of Route 18, Root 18 already displays its wit, humor and personality. The culture of encouragement and positive reinforcement sets Root 18 apart. It starts with the owners/trainers and attracts like-minded people, all of whom are welcoming from the get-go. The rotation of trainers and workouts offers a variety of teaching skills and styles which is engaging and challenging, mentally and physically. I often come straight from hours at a computer feeling sluggish and reluctant; I always leave energized. The trainers are watchful - making modifications as necessary, yet challenging us to our limits - safely. Safety is another significant difference at Root 18 CrossFit. I'm working my way back to fitness, so the proper balance of cheer and challenge is key. I think I've found my home.
