AMAZING and FREE class! Your first class is free so signup online…read more I loved my first class at Pure Barre. I visited on Wednesday, 8 May 2019 with fellow Yelper, Leslie N. I've taken barre classes before in the past but it has been a while since I took one so I couldn't wait to lift and tone my body. CLASS -- The instructor was awesome. I can't remember her name but I think it was Becky. She started off class with a quick 5-min warmup, a 45 min class, and then a 10-min cool down. The class consisted of small movements which are effective to strengthen the core and lengthen the body. We did pushups, held planks, used weights, and then used the bar (a wood rod thing) to do leg lifts and a type of squat exercise that ballerina's do. You don't have to be a fitness pro or super fit to attend the class. I normally prefer high-intensity classes that incorporate weights and cardio but barre was a nice change. It is a good option for cross-training. The class is meant for all levels so for example, if you don't want to pick up weights then you don't have to use it. SERVICE -- I felt welcomed at this studio and the front desk staff member was friendly. Since my friend and I were new, after class, the front desk person explained the membership options to us. It is about $69 a month for 4 classes which is not within my budget right now. One class is $25. I recommend Pure Barre Rocky River studio or any of their locations. This is an exercise class that you can manage and isn't too strenuous. There was even a pregnant woman in the class and the instructor showed her other options (modify) during the cool down (stretching) part of class. **** - 78 total reviews in 2019 - 287 total Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 12 May 2019

When I arrived I was greeted by a friendly face and was explained how everything would happen in the class! I was nervous to come alone but even the people taking the class welcomed me and made sure I was comfortable. Emmanuelle walked me through everything and was attentive, couldn't have asked for a better instructor. They are apart of the class pass through Cleveland so I can't wait to come back. Thanks again for a great experience :)

What a cool place. Be Fitness is a studio that offers pole, pilates, yoga, and probably more that…read moreI'm missing. Located on Clifton, you can't miss its black roof and bold lettering. It's easy to locate off such a main drag. If you're not from the area, be prepared to give yourself extra time for parking. There is no dedicated parking lot, but rather free street parking on surrounding blocks. It's worth it to arrive early just for peace of mind you can find a spot and not be rushed while parallel parking. I wouldn't recommend it as a spot to super last minute book a class. I've attended a few yoga classes and had a wonderful experience. I continuously meet inviting and engaging teachers that actually understand the type of yoga they're teaching. The class sizes are intentionally small and extremely low-pressure. That type of environment alone is enough to make me want to return. Its genuinely a relaxed, supportive atmosphere that meets you where you're at. As someone with physical limitations, I always feel comfortable here and never feel pressured to be something I'm not.

I want to start by saying this is my second time giving Be Fitness a chance. After a mass exodus of…read moremy favorite instructors, that should've been my sign. But they hired one of the best Aerialist in the city and I wanted to resume my practice. In addition to restarting aerial myself, I decided to get my niece involved. The studio made it very confusing and did not communicate to me how to register my niece. This resulted in me receiving an email that my registration was canceled, and we missed class. To this day, I have not received any follow up communication from the studio and the instructor was let go. All of this leaves a sour taste in my mouth. I was going to wait until I ran out of class passes to post my review, but this has been on my mind for days. My niece was making great progress and looked forward to attending. Sadly, we will not be members anymore.

If you're looking for the perfect Pilates studio (yes I truly mean perfect), Vital Pilates is it!…read moreFrom the moment you walk in, it's clear how much time, love, and effort went into creating the space. The aesthetics are stunning--everything is so thoughtfully designed, making it an inviting and motivating place to work out. My favorite instructor is Mackenzie Burdick--she's incredible! Her classes are a perfect mix of fun and challenging. She's funny, energetic, and super nice, and I always leave feeling like I got a killer workout. That being said, you can't go wrong with any of the teachers here. They all bring their A-game and consistently deliver amazing workouts. Everything about Vital Pilates is extremely well-curated, from the equipment to the class structure. It's truly worth investing in a membership. If you're on the fence, just try one class, and you'll see why this place is so special! Oh Ps, they have really great on site parking as well!! I never have issues finding a spot. My only complaint is that they only have one location. Im looking forward to when/if they expand.

I taught Pilates for years out in California and wanted to continue my practice moving back to the Cleveland area but the classes are mostly stretching which has been disappointing.
