These people own 5 studios in the Tampa Bay area and they treat them like cash cows and show no concern for their customers and instructors.

I attended one pilates class many years ago, so it was nice to get a refresher. There are different types of classes: reformer (contemporary), cardio, balance, control, restore, suspension, and FIT. There are about 10 spots per class, so the more popular classes fill up with waitlists. They will have certain specials intermittently through the year. Beware of the cancellation policy! Classes will also use various equipment: TriggerPoint, TRX® springboard, EXO-chair to help build a better you!

I've been to fitness studios, fitness gyms and personal training but none compare to AJ's. I like the small group classes and that this is a judgement free zone. I just need to show up and AJ already has my workout for the day set up. You also get a free fitness evaluation, nutrition guidance and an InBody scan (some fitness centers charge extra for this). Every time I leave a workout session, I feel stronger physically and mentally. AJ really listens to what your needs and goals are. If you have an injury, she will revise the workouts to fit what you can so that day.

She responded promptly and we arranged for an intake visit the next day. On the intake visit, we spoke at length about my prior experiences with training and the goals I had for the short amount of time I would be able to go to her facility. We agreed on my goals (#1 Build strength, #2 improve balance), and I committed to 3 times a week for the duration of my visit. I looked forward to every day. I turned 71 during my time in Florida, and had neglected fitness for the last two years. I have lost almost 40 pounds over the course of the last year (thank you Zepbound) and really felt a need to develop muscle and strength. Because Amy offers an "InBody Assessment" at the beginning of the journey, I was able to see the results of my efforts--not only in my body, but in % of body fat lost and amount of muscle weight gained. In two months, i lost 2% of my body fat and gained 2 pounds of muscle mass. Woo-hoo! I have a background in health and fitness myself and I have been to numerous exercise classes and personal trainers. What sets Amy apart is her ability to listen and understand your personal goals. She doesn't appear to have an ego about doing things "her way." As others have stated, when you arrive, the workout is on the whiteboard and you get started. Amy is attentive to each person and provides cues and modifications as needed. She also provides access to an app in which she posts the workouts so you can track what you have done. I'm particularly grateful for that because I can use that back at home and keep up with my exercising. The other clients at the gym are non-judgmental and fun to be with and I will miss our comraderie.

It's truly…read morepersonalized programming, highly knowledgeable coaches, a supportive/family-like atmosphere, and real results--especially if you're looking for strength, mobility, and joint-friendly fitness (not bodybuilding). Before Made Possible, I tried personal training at a big-box gym and it was a total disappointment--generic workouts on the same machines I was already using, with someone basically just counting reps. It felt impersonal and more focused on selling sessions than actually coaching. At 66, I'm not looking bigger "guns" or a "six-pack." I wanted a personalized program from experienced, educated coaches who understand physiology and can help me get stronger, fitter, and more flexible, paying attention to joint issues and weak points. If you look at their team, many have backgrounds in applied physiology, kinesiology, graduates of National Academy of Sports Medicine with focus on Corrective Exercises, and other related specialties. You can tell they know what they're doing. The atmosphere is warm, caring, and genuinely personal--completely the opposite of the big-box gym experience. After every workout, my trainer(s) texts me the next day to check how I'm feeling. Every trainer knows me by name, people talk to each other, no one is on their headphones or staring at their phones but focusing on their programs. The programming is truly individualized. In my first two sessions, they asked about my goals, evaluated how I move and what needs attention first, then built a plan around that. You can see others doing very advanced, athletic programs, while mine is focused on fundamentals--strengthening the right muscles, improving stability, and fixing weaknesses. The emphasis (at least for me) is always on form and the smaller supporting muscles. It is not about bodybuilding but becoming more fit, more flexible and "properly" stronger. One moment that sold me: I could never do a squat, bad knees from Pickleball and old age. On day one, they had me place my feet and knees differently: push here, lower this, move that... and lo and behold, on day one I did 30 squats. That was it for me. I was hooked. That's when I realized how much proper coaching matters. Lastly, I feel like I'm getting real "value" for the money. The price is fair for the level of coaching and attention you get, and it doesn't feel like a hustle. I highly recommend Made Possible Personal Training.

I wasn't technically overweight before I started but I wasn't toned and looked a little doughy. Doing this and pilates once a week while eating low carb clean foods most (but not all) of the time helped me lose 5 lbs. After a few months of training with Kayla I decided to try NTT's meals. Their meal service is the most consistently great I've ever tried in taste/quality/portions, and I've tried about four fully prepared and three of the cook it yourself kind. Many meals end up big enough for two servings, so you really get bang for your buck. I like that I can order anything "keto" because I do well on restricted carbs. After starting the meal service for my weekday lunches I lost another 5 lbs without increasing my exercise and I wasn't even overweight. I think it's because prep has always been a stumbling block for me. Not having to think about a healthy option for lunch was what I needed to make that extra bit of progress.
