I started Stretch Lab as an alternative to yoga for deep stretching. It's been great! I'm more flexible than in high school. Thank you!

Basically, you get to do a heated workout in the infrared saunas at Hotworx and follow it up with a cold plunge at Arctic Bath & Coffee after. What a rush! Heated workouts aren't my favorite, as I usually get a little lightheaded, but the friendly team at Hotworx talked me through the info and let me know that I could just take a breather if the heated workout was too much. Your time in the sauna is your time, so you spend it how you need to. I tried the hot yoga, where up to three people can do yoga side by side. You have to use their Hotworx mats and towels, but they had plenty to utilize. They also had foam rollers available, which was a nice touch. The other sauna choices had things like row machines and stationary bikes, and I thought it was cool that you could do workouts like that in the saunas. I may try the rowing next time. They also have a free weights gym area in the middle of the facility, and anyone at Hotworx can use it while they are there. It's a members only studio, so the main door is locked unless you have your member access. You just book the session you want (or as many as you want) and head in to get a great workout! I highly recommend trying out the fire and ice combo they are doing with Arctic Baths next door. It's so rejuvenating to get in an awesome sweat at Hotworx and instantly cool down your body (literally) in a cold plunge right after. And the teams at both businesses couldn't be nicer.

I've been coming to this gym for years, and I want to start with what keeps me showing…read moreup--Tiffany's Total Body Fit class on Sundays. She is absolutely fantastic!! I've been attending her classes consistently for the past 4 years, and no one else compares. I've tried other trainers and always walk away a bit disappointed. Tiffany delivers every single time. Her routines are top-notch--thoughtfully designed to hit all major muscle groups while incorporating cardio in a way that's both challenging and energizing. She never misses, brings great energy, and I genuinely look forward to her class every Sunday. I feel it when I miss! Honestly, I wish she offered more sessions... and I'd love to know--what happened to her spin classes?? Now for the hard part... Unfortunately, the facility she's forced to teach in has been in disrepair for far too long--going on about two years. The ceiling leaks, which has caused the floor to warp, and there are orange cones marking unusable areas. On top of that, the air conditioning is unreliable, and the room can get uncomfortably hot--especially during an intense workout. This brings to mind the "broken window" concept--the idea that when small issues are left unaddressed, it signals a lack of care and attention, which often leads to bigger problems. When a business allows visible maintenance issues to persist, it sends a message--not just about the space, but about standards and priorities. It's disappointing because there are truly great instructors here like Tiffany who deserve a facility that matches the quality they bring every single week. Fix the space. Support your trainers. Your members will notice--and appreciate it.

Air conditioning is frequently broken. On several occasions buckets collecting water from roof leaks. Not the best LA Fitness out there.

They offer a free foundations class to teach you the moves and lingo and introduce you to the pure barre family. I was extremely happy I signed up for this class for two main reasons. 1- it seriously helps you learn the lingo and form you will be using in every class. This is where I met Holly, an instructor and manager who was so welcoming and friendly. That leads me to number 2. This class gave me the courage to come back. I want to make it clear this is a great workout. They will push you to your limits and you will feel great afterwards. But this class and Holly made me feel encouraged, welcomed and enough which is what I feared for so long. This is what you get when you come to this studio. I came back for my second class called classic which is 50 minutes of pure work!! I am still learning the form, still getting used to it and that's ok. I give it my best, my instructor Kayla was awesome and gave me tips throughout and then followed up with me after class. If you are in a similar situation to this post, try this class!! You will not regret. My favorite part is that the moves are low impact and high intensity so anyone of any fitness level or age can take this class! The studio is clean, large and offers retail too! They have an awesome app to schedule classes, set goals and keep track of your progress. They have ample class times to fit anyone's schedule and a variety of packages ranging from individuals classes, class packs or unlimited to for your needs and budget. This is an investment for your mind, body and soul which is so worth it!
