So I don't like to post negative reviews, especially when I really enjoyed the person giving the service, but I had to share my experience. Sofia was so sweet, and I really enjoyed our conversation! She was personable, could carry a conversation, very kind, if this review was based on service alone i'd give it 5 stars! Unfortunately, the problem came down to the actual lashes. I added a picture so you can see the problem. This photo was taken 3 days after getting the lashes. I've been getting lashed since I was 16 and have never had lashes applied like this. And that's not even the worst part! I woke up the next day, eyes blood shot. They were painful and swollen and nothing i did helped. I ended up shooting her a message, and she said it was likely just the eye pad being too far up my lash line. I also checked in with my doctor once my vision began to blurry. The doctor noted I was having an allergic reaction and chemical burns. I also had an optometrist look, who noted not only were my eyes burned, they were infected and leaking pus. This has never happened to me which was so disappointing because i loved the style of lashes Sofia did and I liked her as a person. I had to miss two days of work as a result of this and even when i returned I couldn't be in sunlight due to how sensitive my eyes were. Safe to say I won't be returning... read more

I've been to a lot of different lash artists in the past 3 years and Strictly Lash is the best I've had. I've been going to her for the past year and a half now! Sofia is really fun to talk to, very personable and takes the time to get to know you. Her lash work is detailed and she makes my lashes full of volume yet look natural. Sophia is the queen of lash artists! I will never go to another lash artist again - she has me hooked on them, I feel like I can't live without them now. I experimented with a couple of different ones and found the one i love. I have also referred my colleagues and friends to her. I really hope she never stops doing lashes because I don't know what I would do. She is precise and a perfectionist and will make sure you are completely happy before you leave. I've seen Sofia to get my lashes refilled twice. The first time they looked and lasted almost three weeks, which is pretty average. The second time I went to her and got them refilled, they looked okay. After less than a week of having them done my natural eyelashes started to shed in clumps along with the extension. There were two to three of my natural eyelashes glued to the synthetic eyelash. Some of my natural eyelashes were shedding but still stuck onto another natural eyelash so I had extensions just dangling. I contacted Sofia and sent her a photo to see if she could fix them before I go on vacation. She offered to fix them Wednesday morning before I leave. I said I could come in early Wednesday morning and she then responded saying she wasn't available at all Wednesday.... We came to an agreement that she could fix my lashes after I come back but would have to charge me for a fill before by then it would've been almost two weeks. Instead of $40 she would charge me $30. Not much of.l a discount but I needed them fixed. I ended up canceling the appointment because I didn't want to risk the health of my eyelashes with someone who ruined them in the first place. read more

Been getting my lashes done by Sofia since she first got certified post Beaty school! She's come a long way and her lashing seems to keep getting better every appointment. My lashes are super fluffy but don't appear to look fake or unnatural, which I love.
