They just made a decision, seemingly put me on some kind of lending blacklist, and then ghosted me. This has hurt my business badly. I am frustrated, angry, and honestly feel completely screwed over. I need National Funding to explain what happened, who they shared my file with, and how they are going to fix it. I ended up looking at a local lender and they explained to me why others were backing off and it was cause of a single damn company.

What a joke!…read more My husband has been trying to work with these disorganized, forgetful, and inept people from 9/30/24 until today to provide all the requested documents to get an SBA loan for his small business. He has had to interface with no fewer than 5 people to get one loan. And since my financial and personal information was required, I definitely have a right to write this review. We have a mortgage, I have refinanced a house twice, I have had to deal with probate, estates, and being a fiduciary, so I understand that things can be complicated when ensuring proper compliance. But this has been a complete sh*t show. One egregious example from Iliana: to move forward, my husband had to have a signed lease for his business, which started on Dec 1. They approved that it was for a year with the option to extend. They had two full months to convey that it wasn't ok and that it needed to state on the lease that it was for 10 years. They had copies of the lease documents. Then today, Dec 5, they back tracked and said the lease needed to be written for 10 years. Who gets a 10 year lease for a new business? Don't the lenders hope the business grows and needs a bigger space? How do they propose someone gets out of a 10 year lease if they outgrow it in 5 or 6 years? Perla also told my husband that it was ok for him to have his LLC filed for January before he submitted it in Nov. Several days later Iliana backtracked and said he had to have his LLC active to fund the loan. When he asked why Perla had given him incorrect information, Iliana got defensive. That mistake cost him an extra $300. She didn't even apologize. I honestly wonder if they're a scam that just gets money from the government for "handling" SBA loans, or some kind of boiler room that collects people's information and later sells it because I cannot imagine that they ever get anything done. Perla, Iliana, Kelly, and the rest of you should be ashamed of yourselves and find another job, because you're shamefully terrible at this one.
