Easy to communicate with. Polite, friendly, and professional. They provided a 2 hour window for arrival and texted us 40 minutes prior to their arrival. Their fee matched their quote based on photos that I sent to them. They hauled our used paint cans, and some household chemicals and confirmed they will be recycled properly. What a relief to not have to make an appointment with the County's hazardous waste department. They also removed a cabinet from the garage and our old bbq. College Hunks were nice but even after hearing Strong Hands' quote couldn't match their price. My husband and I have been sitting on at least a 50 lbs 8x10 rug for over 4 months and have had no way of disposing it. We left it outside in the sun and rain and it was starting to become one with the environment. We tried calling the city to come haul it away (for free) but we would have to cut the rug in two, tie it up, then drag it outside to be picked up. We made two attempts to do this but failed because the rug was made of woven coconut husks and it was impossible to cut/saw when wet. So we left it outside praying to the Lord of Light that it wouldn't rain until the weekend so we could try to saw it again. It was going to rain today and we were screwed. As a last ditch effort, we found Levi's number on craigslist and called. He gave us a quote and his colleague, Jeff, came in less than two hours. He picked up the rug and a few other items and cleaned up the debris outside once he was done. This took all of 10 minutes. My backyard is finally not a junkyard anymore! I am now just kicking myself that I didn't do this sooner. Oh well, at least it's done! Levi's services and prices are awesome! Note I will only post a review for those who deserve either 1 stars or 5 stars so you're either REALLY BAD or REALLY GOOD! In this case, it is AS GOOD AS IT GETS! I requested quotes from junk hauling companies on Sunday late evening on June 2 for removal/disposal of my Queen size box spring (just got a new platform bed!). It's now June 4, 2 days later and it's gone! Levi came to pick it up an hour early which worked out perfectly. Levi, the owner came with one other guy. I'm keen on COMMUNICATION. If you are VERY responsive to my texts/phonecalls/etc., you've got my attention! and Levi was exactly that from the get go! I hate wasting people's time and so I appreciate it when they don't waste mine! Levi responded quickly to my Yelp inquiry giving me the lowest quote and responded immediately to every text I sent him within the 2 day spread. I confirmed my appt on Tuesday morning, he confirmed back, and he texted again later to see if he could come sooner. It all worked out great! They came to the door, were respectful and put on the shoe covers upon request, and were VERY gentle and careful with taking down the Queen size box spring from the 3rd level of my house down to the bottom! It couldn't have been any smoother than that. I'm always worried about moving furniture in a house whether junk hauling or moving new furniture in, because I worry about damaging the walls or the product itself, but these guys were extremely gentle taking the box spring down the long flight of stairs around corners/low ceilings. Levi and his guy were extremely professional, respectful, responsive, friendly, and kind. Both seemed like genuinely down to earth men and I LOVE THAT! It is important to me that not only do I get a good price from a business, but that the QUALITY is there on all levels!
