Not a "something must be wrong" line. A "we willingly stand here because ice cream is involved" line. My son ordered what can only be described as an engineering marvel: chocolate ice cream in a waffle cone dipped in chocolate and then rolled in either Butterfinger, Heath, or some other delicious candy-coated masterpiece. I honestly lost track somewhere between "dipped" and "rolled." It looked less like an ice cream cone and more like a dare. My daughter got a twist cone rolled in Heath pieces and was equally thrilled. Both kids loved their treats, which is a pretty solid endorsement considering teenagers treat compliments like they're being charged by the word. The place was clean, the staff was friendly, there were plenty of benches to sit and enjoy your sugar-induced happiness, and they even have a rewards program. Because apparently they know we'll be back. We're locals, not tourists, and this place is ALWAYS busy. After our first visit, I finally understand why. There's plenty of outdoor seating, and the turtle habitat is awesome. We spent half the time watching the turtles and the other half trying to decide whose treat was the best. Ordering is super easy with the QR code, and they even have a rewards program, which is great because we clearly plan to become regulars. We're new to Satellite Beach, and finding this place feels like discovering a local treasure. Our only problem now is figuring out how often we can come here before it becomes a personality trait. The games were just as disappointing of the three pinball games they had, one didn't work and one was for kids. There are however, two things this place excels at : the ice cream is delicious! Served with a plastic spoon. Not good because the ice cream was too hard. I had to hold the spoon closest to ice cream & really dig. The vanilla ice cream tasted like ice milk, & wasn't flavored. The cheesecake bites were chewy & the strawberries tasted so sweet, I ate around them. Probably artificially sweetened.... ick! A lady there had ordered frozen buckeye candy. She got a refund because she said she couldn't eat them. I won't be returning. I've had so much better, & will pay a little more for it too.
