He applied sealant in a couple of areas where the house wasn't perfectly flat to make sure we don't have a future water issue. He made sure everything was level, functioned properly, and looked beautiful. Very pleased with the end result and cost was fair. James had extra tools and materials that I didn't anticipate would be needed. Had I tried to do this project myself, it would have taken several back-and-forth trips to a hardware store and easily one or two full days up on a ladder. He also took the time to answer all of my questions about other HVAC issues (our custom home builder ghosted us on all our home warranty claims), provide bids to get things fixed, as well as bids for potential future upgrades we were considering, like adding a UV light and whole-home humidifier. Some contractors do sloppy work because they are trying to get to a job and leave as quickly as they can. Utah Quality Heating & Cooling is not like that. Quality work and pride in workmanship shouldn't be uncommon, but it is. "Quality" is a great word to use in the name of this small business. I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy pro who will take time to answer questions, provide fair bids/estimates, isn't sale-zy, and who will prioritize doing the job well over doing the job fast. The April air never really worked and they came out many times and never fixed it. At 6 year point the condenser made a loud noise and stopped, it needed to be replaced and the labor cost me 1500.00 I checked around and that was a lot. Recently at 9 1/2 the Furnace started making a gurgling noise and just started stop working. The first man that came out said it was a part and changed me 280.00 Labor to replace it. It didn't fix it, so he had someone else come out. The next man that came out was here for several hours a couple of times. I realized these young men wasn't HVAC Furnace men. I decided to ask around and my friend told me about a good Hvac Furnace man. He worked on the Furnace several times and it just can't be fixed. We have been without a Furnace for a month, thank goodness we have a gas fireplace that will heat the house. We still have 4 months on warranty but I just want it fixed.
