We think he is so great, he painted our whole house. What a talented Contractor. He's not just roofing, he can do any job. Nothing is too small or too big for him. He will take the time and follow your design. But April 2026, our solar water guy cracked some tiles. We got a bad leak around it. Our ceiling was getting moldy and we shouldn't have put it off. I called Francis and he remembered me after 22 years. He promptly gave us a proposal for the replacement of cracked tiles and for a Solar Ceiling fan. He is so honest. The price was again very reasonable! Then on top of that, he said he can work us in his busy schedule! We are so thrilled. Other roofers will try to sell you a new roof. They lie and say they cannot find monier tiles and to do the whole roof. Or even tell you when they go on the roof, they will crack more tiles. You don't want high pressure sales. He does big projects as well, Honolulu Hale and many companies. If they also trust him, you can too! He is very busy but will do everything to expedite your start date. You will be Blessed!

The roof was within the five year warranty period (according to the house/disclosure documents) so we called up international roofing which was listed as the company who did the original job. I've had two distinct encounters with international roofing so far and i will retell them in detail: 1) this past August after the a week straight of heavy rain, we noted a leak in our extension. I called international roofing and requested an assessment. At first, they took my information and said they would call and schedule one as soon as they can, but after two days of not hearing from them I called them again. I was met with the same promise so after another day of no response, I called again and only after calling the office several times in a span of 48 hours was I able to get Ariel, the owner to come assess the house. When he arrived he informed me that the area where the leak was was not part of their original repair and did not fall under the warranty. Fair enough, so I requested a quote (which he gave verbally) and I agreed. He said he would return another time to fix the area. Fast forward one week later, No follow up or call from either the owner or the office. I called the office again who seemed to not remember my case, so I explained my story and told them I wanted to proceed with the repairs, and they requested that I email them a formal request. I went ahead and did that and one week later still no response. I was finally fed up so my husband decided to buy a temporary sealant for a temporary repair and we went with another company for the actual fix 2) my second experience with international roofing was just this past week. Again, after days of heavy rain we noted two other leaks...this time it was under the area that WAS done by international roofing and is within the warranty...so I sucked it up (even if I didn't want to) and called the company again. I spoke with a pleasant lady on Monday who told me that the owner Ariel was on big island and would call me back the next day (Tuesday). By Wednesday, still no phone call, so I called the office again and was informed that Ariel would get back to me. No explanation or anything and like a fool I continued to wait. It is now Friday (granted it was thanksgiving on Thursday) and still no email or call or explanation. This is probably the worst customer service I've experienced from a TERRIBLY unprofessional company. At this point I am so frustrated that I don't care if it's within the warranty or not as I'll probably call another company for the actual repairs. International roofing's lack of response is rude, unprofessional and plain disrespectful of its customers. I can understand if they are busy or inundated with requests, but I didn't even get that explanation. I got NOTHING from this company! Take your business elsewhere.

Cheynenne is talented and a trooper!! Got the job done within 3 hours and let me tell you, it was BLAZING HOT! Sun beating down directly on him. But it did not affect his work. He's definitely a quality skilled professional. They cleaned up, gave me a requested W9 and a signed receipt. WA-LA, my stress is no more. I was freaking out we might lose our insurance but Kaena & Cheyenne got the job done in plenty of time. YAY!! Just wanted to make a note on the handful of bad reviews here. After a two-week search, I selected Menora Masonry from four bids for my December 2024 retaining wall and drainage project. Suli, the owner, ran the mini excavator and ensured efficient teamwork during excavator operations Sione was pure strength. He did a lot of the excavating and put up new posts and gates. A lot was accomplished because he had a good work ethic and was trustworthy in every way. Younger Sione, Suli's nephew, executed precise bricklaying while others managed cement mixing. He rebuilt the failing wall sections and also a leaning column with great precision. Task on December 11, 2024: To replace the weak sections of my retaining wall that held the terraced front area of my property. Then run 80 feet of perforated PVC pipe underground along it to relieve the pressure of excess water into an adjoining swale easement. In addition, water in my back garden area, weathered by mauka wind and rain, would pool and seep beneath the slab of my house. Menora jackhammered part of the old walkway and created slope for the water to empty into the same swale easement and away from the foundation. They also built a raised cement barrier along the house. Communication: An area of improvement could have been reviewing our understanding of the planned work in intervals. While communication could improve with mid-project checkpoints (especially during garden water mitigation), post-work cleanup with Suli's son, Suli Jr., revealed excellent attention to detail. The January 2025 storm validated their work - both wall stability and drainage performed flawlessly under heavy wind and rain. I had complete peace of mind for my neighbors below that the wall would hold and not cause damage; and that the garden-side rain would not pool towards the house. I truly appreciate the hard work and effort on the part of Menora Masonry and highly recommend them!
