They provided the entertainment for our wedding in late June, and we found them to be spectacular. We began by meeting with the DJ, he took the time to get to know us as a couple. He discussed at length how we would structure the reception to ensure it was what we wanted, a big amazing party that really helped meld two large families together. It was a wonderful party. People were dancing literally all night long, my own elderly grandfather was dancing until 12am!! We received so MANY compliments on the DJ/MC. People felt it was family friendly entertainment that really focused on it being our special day. We were able to truly enjoy the reception because they handled everything! They are professional, customer service oriented, and excellent at what they do! I highly recommend open door.

They really went above and beyond, from the initial consultation to the end of the reception. They were exceptionally easy to work with, considerate, organized, and unbelievably helpful. Furthermore, they provided fantastic entertainment throughout the reception. They made the dance so fun. This is such a cute store…read more My girlfriend and I wandered in here on our walk back from having lunch on the pier. She had never been in there, and since she's the one who lives in Sheboygan, I'd never been in there either. We weren't sure what to expect, but we were definitely surprised. This store has a lovely hodge podge of things. It's mostly home decor type stuff like paints and pillows and wall hangs, but that's definitely not all. There's jewelry and soaps and journals and scarves, and all sorts of other goodies. I walked out of there with two necklace charms that I think were somewhere in the $10 ballpark. I thought the prices were reasonable. Now that we know about it, we'll definitely be coming back. They close pretty early, so be sure to watch the clock if you decide to drop by.

We purchased flowers for my Mother's funeral from Hoffmann's. We ordered arrangements with…read moreLAVENDER roses that we saw in the refrigerator when we placed our order in person in their store. They were gorgeous - the perfect shade to match the rest of the color palate we were using for the service. When we arrived at the funeral home we were VERY disappointed as the roses clearly were NOT lavender. They were pink (and my Mother hated pink!) I asked several of the guests what color they thought the roses were, and they all agreed they were pink. When I spoke with the manager the next day, I was told the roses they used were their "standard" for Lavender or Purple roses. I shared that they definitely were NOT the lavender roses we saw and chose in their cooler when we placed the order. I shared that I was disappointed and asked if there was something he could do to make it right (like a discount of some sort?). He said there was nothing he could do as they provided the product we ordered. I did give them two stars, as the arrangements WERE beautiful and they did a fantastic arrangement in a Tanqueray Gin bottle that we loved. But we were heartbroken with the pink roses.
