He showed up when he said he would, provided us with an estimate that we could work with, and did amazing work. You need to know this before you hire Todd...he is a perfectionist and that is a great thing. The tile work we had him do was pretty intricate and every single line was perfect. Our bathroom was a full renovation...including getting rid of awful 1980s wallpaper. Todd was so professional that we went away for a week during the renovation process and trusted him to finish the job while we were away. We came home to a beautiful new room. If you are gathering estimates for any kind of renovation, be sure to add Bon Air Contracting to your list. Now we just need to scrape together enough money to renovate our kitchen...

Long story short, this contractor bust suspense and went over budget - two things that are super important for contractors. On top of that Mr. Dale Hurt (owner) damaged the property and did not take accountability for his actions. When I addressed my concerns he became very disrespectful and threatening to both myself and elderly mother. Because Mr. Hurt breached contract and damaged my mothers property I did not pay him the remainder of the contract until he agreed to work with me to fix what he'd broken. He was content with leaving my mother without lights and power in bedrooms and sued me for the remainder of the contract. I countersued for the damages and breach of contract. The judge took one look at the pictures included here (Mr. Dales attempts at staining hardwoods) and ruled in my favor. This post is not to bad talk a contractor because there is plenty more I could say, it is to warn the next person who might not have the money to go to court to fight for what's right. It is to prevent the next older person from being taken advantage of. And hopefully, will help Mr. Dale do better work and stay professional. At least to die unto others the way he would want someone to do towards him. Operate ethically, and have some integrity. Further, due to my interaction with this person, I'm sure he'll post a retort, when he does know that I'll not go back and forth with him here, but if you want more specific details please contact me here and I'll give you more details if it will help you make a decision.

They installed new wood support posts, diagonal laid wood decking boards, and a black aluminum rail system. We love the new sleeker, updated look. Working with Brent & Rosie was super easy and communication and efficiency are their strengths. They provided a reasonable estimate and were able to complete the job close to the schedule, despite several weather set backs for the ice and snow we had this winter. I am also that customer that asks 100 questions beforehand and Terry patiently answered them. I will absolutely use them again though for much more.
