If I had 6 hours to go sit in a hospital I would have done that, and was about to be forced to do that until I found this place. Having a 7 month old plus being a stay at home mom, I need use of my arm! As my mother called so many doctors in the area everyone was like oh next week etc even as she explained the situation. I couldn't even hold my son anymore, I couldn't even lift a fork to feed myself or feed my baby! Anyway my mom was told about this dr by a friend, called and got me a same day appointment!!!! She called at least 10 other doctors in the area btw. With everyone oh next week we can get her in. I got right in here, and I can't even stress the relief I had after seeing the doctor. Cortisone shot yes! I had a huge calcium deposit in my elbow! Which was causing the extreme pain. Anyway hopefully I am good now, we shall see but still I will forever rave about this doctor for saving the day. I also got right in, maybe a 20 minute wait the first time? As my hubs filled out paperwork for me (I couldn't hold a pen) I think all doctors should have emergency appointments like this place did. Like I could just wait a week to be able to use my arm? Not only was I in pain but try explaining to a 7 month old why suddenly his mom can't hold him :( it was just the worst 2 days of my life. I only wish I found this doctor sooner! He scheduled the MRI and had a third grade ACL I am going in for surgery August 21. I hope all goes well. I hear he's a great doctor though he doesn't recommend surgery that often it's always a risk, but I am taking my chances because I cannot stand the buckling of my knee my job requires, fast cleaning and I do run around the OR very often cannot bear to feel my knee to buckle as I go back to work. I did a lot of research and stumbled upon Dr. Gluck who was actually apart of the LIJ network where my daughter was born. His office staff was kind and explained everything to me as a new parent regarding my insurance over the phone. In fact he was the only specialist I could find in 2011 within our network. Many others would not accept Cigna. Many did not seem to understand the diagnosis and it became a real nightmare. I became very depressed but had to be strong for my infant. We met with Dr. Gluck who did a consultation with us explaining what tissue he would need to remove in order for my daughter to use her hand. He reassured us she would be able to function and use her hand as though she was not missing any of her digits. He was right. Now she is 8 years old, top of her class and sometimes we forget she's missing any fingers. Thank You Dr. Gluck you turned a nightmare into a miracle.

Both times were had our own room for 2 nights, the 2nd time we opted for only 1 night since we were experienced parents. I remember the first time, the staff would teach you how to properly hold, swaddle, and change a baby. And if you were too scared which we were they'll do it as many times for you until you felt comfortable. I dont plan to have a 3rd child, but if I did, this would definitely be the hospital to go to without a doubt. Great care overall.
