I can't say enough good things about Dr. Neri. He has operated on both of my shoulders in the past…read moretwo years, with amazing outcomes. He is professional, friendly, very calming and overall a really, really nice guy. I'm a tough customer as I've been a nurse for 45 years, and I have very high expectations. He did not disappoint!! Thank you so much Dr. Neri.

My arm only got worse to the point I couldn't move it or even just sit without horrible pain. If I had 6 hours to go sit in a hospital I would have done that, and was about to be forced to do that until I found this place. Having a 7 month old plus being a stay at home mom, I need use of my arm! As my mother called so many doctors in the area everyone was like oh next week etc even as she explained the situation. I couldn't even hold my son anymore, I couldn't even lift a fork to feed myself or feed my baby! Anyway my mom was told about this dr by a friend, called and got me a same day appointment!!!! She called at least 10 other doctors in the area btw. With everyone oh next week we can get her in. I got right in here, and I can't even stress the relief I had after seeing the doctor. Cortisone shot yes! I had a huge calcium deposit in my elbow! Which was causing the extreme pain. Anyway hopefully I am good now, we shall see but still I will forever rave about this doctor for saving the day. I also got right in, maybe a 20 minute wait the first time? As my hubs filled out paperwork for me (I couldn't hold a pen) I think all doctors should have emergency appointments like this place did. Like I could just wait a week to be able to use my arm? Not only was I in pain but try explaining to a 7 month old why suddenly his mom can't hold him :( it was just the worst 2 days of my life. I only wish I found this doctor sooner! Such a nice doctor too. Whole experience was just amazing. Hopefully I won't need surgery but if I do, this doctor is amazing.

I had to see Doctor Stuart Hershon as an emergency patient as recommended by my Cardiologist…read more(primary care Doctor). Called his office and told the person what had happened to me. I was given an appointment immediately. When I got to his office there was valet parking & told to get the ticket validated. Great having valet parking. Maybe waited in the waiting room 10 minutes and called in. Dr. Hershon came in minutes later and he wanted me to have X-RAYS (does that in his office) Waited about 10 minutes after the X-RAYS and Dr. Hershon came in and explained to me what the X-RAYS said. Explained everything to me and told me what to do and he wanted to see me in 1 month. This whole experience was amazing from the staff & of course Dr. Hershon who was thorough . I could not believe how everything moved so quickly. I definitely recommend Doctor Hershon. Do not hesitate especially if it is an emergency.

I saw him at his Manhasset office which is Very busy but moves really quickly due in large part to the staff that works like a well oiled machine. Efficient AND friendly. Hands on exam. Consult. "Sounds like it might be a torn meniscus." Straight off the bat. Xray...need MRI. K...follow-up visit. Yup...torn meniscus. Surgery(gulp!)? Some people live with a torn meniscus and no biggie....others not so much. "If it effects your quality of life..." No pushing of surgery. Just your options. 6 weeks later I'm scheduling surgery. Cut to North Shore Hospital(upcoming review), Doctor Hershon is calm, cool, collected and five minutes with him,so am I. Let's do this. I see him right after in recovery. "Looks good" "See you in a week." Stitches are tiny. Iced the swelling into oblivion. Six weeks physical therapy(doc's orders). Final consult. I'm good to go! My recoup time was excellent and this was the Best "I wish I didn't have to do this" experience ever. Doctor Hershon exudes experience. I wouldn't go to anyone else. He ain't the Yankee doctor for nothin'.
