Cleanliness was probably on the lower side of average, but hey, what can you expect with a bunch of happy go lucky college kids in and out all day. It was a fun visit. This means it feels like somewhere to get rowdy. It's not so crazy in the middle of the day. Patrons are mostly half conscious and in a stupor. If you want to witness some hell raising, go later. This isn't quite like Sons of Anarchy, but the bikers can be a little scary. Just don't piss them off and you'll be okay. There's a pool table that's fun to get in on. It's a good place for cheap beer and cocktails. Patrons can look scary but are usually not looking to fight. This is one of the best bars to catch musicians.

Straight in the double doors is the show venue, a cool old theater. Great sound, nice lighting. Bar is up another set of stairs, with a small balcony with tables. Accessibility might be an issue; I saw no elevator though there could be one. Two sets of steep stairs were hard on an old guy with bad knees, especially coming down from the bar with drinks. Pizza and burgers, etc., at the bar, nice to have handy. Fast friendly service. Downstairs, the bar to the left of the entry looks quite nice, and they had the show on a TV. Crowd wasn't massive so you could wander up and down and enjoy all areas. Definitely would come back for another show.
