We came to Studabakers as a party of 18, and at first, we were told they couldn't accommodate us. To our surprise (and delight), the host and staff quickly made it happen, and we're so grateful for their effort. The service was fast, and our waitress was incredibly pleasant and patient with such a large group. The food was exactly what you'd expect from good bar fare, hearty and satisfying. After a full day of boating, my shrimp dish hit the spot, and my peach iced tea (with a boozy twist) was refreshing and delicious. I also snagged a bite of the mac & cheese, and wow - that thing looked like it could feed a family, not just one person. Rich, cheesy, and absolutely worth it. Excellent bar with some cool drinks. This place is super popular with the locals and why not with the amount of bar food we have here and great prices for drinks. Not to mention a huge patio with a great view. The food is ok. Most of the menu comes from the fryer and I can only imagine the size of the freezer in the back. The burgers looked really good and the salads looked decent. Service was good for the most part. Ill stick to coming here for drinks and lighter fair. read more

I was visiting with my aunt that lives in Orillia and was looking up places to grab a drink near the beach or that had a patio at least! Studabaker's came up and it's a great, cheap patio pub/bar overlooking the beach at the very end of the main strip. I noticed they had these massive caesars with crazy garnishes like jalepeno poppers, onion rings, lobster tail, and more! It was decent service and the food wasn't bad but I loved their cocktails! read more

I can't comment on the food as we left before ordering food. We arrived at the location in Burlington slightly after 6 p.m. We entered and were seated fairly quickly in the dining room area with menus in hand and water delivered to the table. The hostess/waitress came back and took our drink order and that was the last contact we had with her. No drinks arrived, no food order taken. Other patrons were seated (3 sets) and orders for them were taken and food brought out in some cases. The lone waitress, whom also appeared to be the hostess, was joined by two other waitresses one of which finally came over to us and asked if we had been served; we were now past 6:30. It was obvious we had not been served as we still had our menus. It was unfortunate as my husband had been here previously and enjoyed the food and service at lunchtime however, he noted the place was empty. He was irritated with being ignored, as was I, and excused us from the table stating we were leaving. We received a quick, "I'm sorry" from the server and the hostess as we walked out. We were very disappointed. We don't venture out frequently for a meal. This was to be a treat of a new experience, a new location, in our local area. So we ended up at Montforts, reliable service and good food. I would suggest you bring your patience to Studebakers just in case it is a slow service day. read more

Food was delicious! I had the 3 amigos street tacos and husband had chicken club. Staff very friendly and attentive. Menu had a good selection and was reasonably priced. If you are in the area I would definitely recommend this place! read more

Passing through Orillia, part of the reason we chose this location was its "beach side" location. There is no real view of the water. From the patio we could only see the lodge next door. That aside, the drinks were cold and the food ordinary. The problem really was due to the extremely bad attitude of our server, Krista. My friends and I COULD NOT BELIEVE how badly the server treated my wife. Even servers at McDonalds treat clients better! Never again! read more

Nice place..slow service. New girl pehraps....but no enthusiasm. Ddint give us the 'wanr' to stay. Music....someone..whomever provides the sound....is waaay too in love with Pitbull. You guys have the potential..but missing it....BIG time. Had doorman call me a cab..never showed. He then pointed out a cab sitting across the street...suggested I just run across, myself. Classy. You guys got a got a good thing...potentially. But staff....leaves a lot to be desired. But...thats not always their faullt.. Good luck. read more
