What sets Reck above the rest is the ownership. Find a gym where the owners know every member and take the time to personally respond to any inquiry or question within a few hours. For the Bootcamp class, they put us in groups of 4 to rotate around stations. 2 in the group would do the primary exercise while the other 2 would do a secondary exercise. It was a setup I hadn't come across before and it seemed like an excellent combination of individual working out with a sense of camaraderie. It was a pretty challenging class and they had a lot of machines I'd never used before. I do wish the class was a little bit more strength focused because it was very cardio heavy. They do have an upstairs open gym where you can work out, and you can work out downstairs if they have no classes going on. However I do think it's a pretty small gym for the monthly fee of $129. But bonus points for the huge adorable dog who hangs around there! Summarizing, the instructors and variety of machines as well as the convenient location are great but it seems quite pricey for what it is.

Class offerings and time options are also really good for the area with lots of morning classes and good variety between yoga, Pilates and weight based classes. Classes are challenging too which is so important to me. My only downfall with this place and why I can't be a permanent member is I can't get over the fact that there are no mirrors in the studio!! I understand this may be common for traditional yoga studios but if you offer these type of weighted classes how can there not be a mirror to check form. Personally a mirror helps me make that mind/body/muscle connection way more but maybe I'm alone in that.

The workouts are so unique and different every day, you can really see progress when your clothing fits better. I love absolutely every single instructor that teaches for FIT ritual, they are such genuinely nice people and really know how to make sure you are getting the best workout, while also providing modifications as needed. They get glares from me pretty frequently while they are kicking my ass, but I really do love and appreciate them, beyond any words I could ever express.
