He took my daughter (7 years old) to get the gc and on Christmas morning she couldn't stop talking about how nice and beautiful it was and she was so excited for me to go! I scheduled a massage for today with Melissa and from the second I got there to the second I left, I understand exactly why it's rated so highly! Everyone was welcoming and kind, the ambiance was relaxing, the massage bed was glorious. Melissa was really wonderful, listened to my concerns and really worked on some tough knots I had yet was able to work them out painlessly. The scent of the lotion she used was so nice as well. There was no pressure to schedule again or make purchases (although I did schedule my next appt for next month because I want to make sure Inget Melissa again!). I live in Washington Twp so this was about 30 min drive and I am absolutely willing to make this "our spot" from here on out!

One of my friends has Huntington's Disease, which affects his movement and speech. Norma told us that "whatever this is needs to stop" and that she "can't have this because she has a business," even though her business is located half a block away on the opposite side of the street. What disturbed me most is that she singled out my disabled friend and questioned him in a demeaning way. Whether she thought he was intoxicated or simply didn't understand his condition, her behavior was inappropriate and discriminatory. I cannot speak to the quality of services at Chroma Beauty Bar. However, this incident left a strong negative impression, and I personally would not feel comfortable supporting this business.

But after the completely disrespectful customer service at the Glassboro location I found myself booking here again. This time was with Brielle. She is awesome and I cannot say enough good things about her!!! She was SOOOOOO careful and reassuring with my brow wax. She had me hold the mirror and went step by step with me to make sure I was happy with my brows. Brielle is definitely the kind of waxer you want to see after a nightmare experience due to her attention to detail and her willingness to ask you how YOU like your brows!!! I've had too many stylists who say they "get" curls and then do whatever they want. Kelly at Marie's Salon was the complete opposite. She took the time to really listen, asked smart questions about how I style it, what I like and don't like, and repeated everything back so we were perfectly on the same page. (The fact that she has gorgeous curly hair herself was an instant confidence boost--she clearly understands curls on a personal level!) I got exactly the cut I asked for: great shape, face-framing layers that actually work with my curl pattern, and it's so easy to manage at home. The shampoo and that incredible head massage were pure bliss. The salon is spotlessly clean, professional yet super relaxing, and the price was completely fair--no feeling overcharged like I've experienced elsewhere. My pedicure was amazing not rushed took almost a hour for a regular pedicure which was great. I had great conversation with the girl who did my pedi. The owner who did my nails was also very talkative and my nails look great! I highly recommend this nail salon. You won't be disappointed.
