She's been afraid to get it cut but she did want a little trim because of her upcoming prom. Unfortunately I got stuck at work and my husband had to take her. So I do blame myself but I told her to very specific with the stylist. I even had an appointment with the same person a couple weeks ago and talked about my daughter's fear of losing length. According to my daughter she agreed to the 2 inches of dead straight hair on the bottom but was very clear about not wanting to lose length all over. The woman took at least 3 or 4 inches off all over her head. Hair that came to her elbows now barely falls past her shoulders and what's worse is that it is uneven. The right side is very noticeably longer than the left side. If she didn't understand curly hair, she should have said something. Maybe she didn't like my daughter or thought she was wrong to express what she wanted and decided to teach her a lesson. Now she doesn't even want to go to the prom. We can't get the hair back and I have to pay somebody else to fix it. We will never go back again.

I am a dude, so my haircut is usually simple and quick. I don't make an appointment, I just walk in and ask if anyone has time to cut my hair. And they do! Sometimes I will get my eyebrows waxed - they do it all! I appreciate the personnel are always smiling and polite and after I get my haircut, everyone that knows me compliments what a good job the salon did on my hair. I don't have any pictures to post - at least for now - I mean the folks on the internet reading this don't need to see my haircut... but the salon is very professional looking: bright, clean, with a variety of stations, and plenty of products on display. But Karoline knew exactly what to do and considered what I wanted. She worked on my hair even though I had a lot of it and my damaged, dry mane was getting all knotted up. The result was this cool ashy color that I was immediately obsessed with. It was weird because even though the color was toned down, I could still see the warmth underneath, so weird it's like cool & warm at the same time haha, but maybe that's just me. Anyway I love my new hair! I've never had a main hair salon or hairdresser I regularly saw, but I think I know where to go for the rest of my life now. The one thing I didn't like was the lack of transparent pricing. Their website isn't functional, and there are no menu boards inside with treatment options nor price. Do they do waxing? Who knows. Eyelash extensions? Beats me! My pedicure was $35 and they appear to have a rewards program if you're a frequent visitor. This wasn't explained to me nor offered to me.
