I was offered water while I did my paperwork and was asked if I needed to use the restroom before we began, which I appreciated. I came in with horrible back pains. My back still aches some, but it is significantly better post massage. The rest of my body feels loose and great, which is saying a lot. I have a physically demanding job that takes a toll on me and I deal with chronic pain, so it is rare that my body ever feels "good." Great job, Kayla. The eucalyptus she used during the massage was also extremely relaxing I'm not giving 5 stars because pricing at MassageLux is so confusing. The prices aren't listed on the website from what I can see. And I looked for a long while. My massage ended up being $85 including a $10 tip, but I was told my next massage would be $150. That the price I had to day was an introductory price only. I've had a MassageLux massage before, but at a different location, so that surprised me. Pricing needs to be listed clearer on the website and in the spa. I have a feeling they do this on purpose. The gentleman at the counter after the massage was very kind but pushed the membership very hard. I get it, I've sold memberships before. And it did seem like a great deal, but I just don't have the funds right now and I wish they would accept, "No thank you," and move on. The results came entirely from my self home treatment -- NOT from this facility. A. For Professionals: If a client discloses that they have sensitive skin, I strongly recommend implementing a 72-hour patch test followed by a 5-day monitoring period as a standard precautionary step. This is far more effective than relying solely on a liability waiver. B. For Future Customers: Laser treatments or chemical peels might provide temporary surface-level improvement and a short-term glow, but if underlying internal factors (such as toxin accumulation) are not addressed, pigmentation issues like melasma are very likely to return. In my case, the clinical treatments from this facility offered zero benefit and instead caused a severe reaction. C. Key Recommendations from My Experience: a.
