    Nice salon spa for a bit of pampering and relaxation. Had a fantastic manicure and pedicure with the best technician Yanka, she is personable, attentive and gentle if need be. Definitely recommend her if you need "me time "

    It took me a long time to write this review but I truly believe that the truth always prevails and that my side of the story deserves to be heard as well. I am going to leave out names because I believe that everybody deserves grace and has the opportunity to improve but my experience with this salon and a specific stylist within this salon makes me never want to come back And I would never refer any of my friends or family to go here. Background: I work in healthcare and over the summer I received a sign a sign on bonus from my job. I'm a single mom with little to no family in town and this experience was very unsupportive. I was really excited to finally have a little extra money and decided to make my princess little girl hair dreams come true. My previous lash girl who does not work at the salon Referred me to a master stylist that she had been going to for the last 2 to 3 years. My first experience with this artist was excellent she did a great job with color and gave me a really pretty cut we talked about how I wanted to do extensions and she did that consultation with me. We picked out extensions (type, color and length) and set my appointment for when they came in. This being my first experience with extensions I knew I had a lot to learn and that I would probably mess it up and I was fully open to that but excited to try it out. I decided on the k-bonds because I thought it would be easier to put up with work but I not only underestimated how busy I would be but also the amount of work that these type of extensions actually take. After a couple months in my new position and being scrubbed into long cases at the hospital for hours at a time I realized my mistake. This type of hairstyle just wasn't compatible with me or my lifestyle and I admitted that. I reached out to this artist and let her know that it was my fault and I knew she warned me that I might not be able to keep up with the maintenance of 24" k-bond extensions. I had a couple issues with knotting and matting and kept trying to reach out to this artist for help and felt like I kept getting the runaround. Because the same hairstylist goes to my same lash girl I found out from the lash girl that my feelings were actually valid. This artist told the lash girl that I was "manic", that she was unhappy with her life and that she was purposely making our schedules not match up. The hair stylist referred me to what she felt was a lower level hairstylist at Studio Branca to help remove my matting and knots, simply because she didn't want to do it but she didn't have the ability to communicate that to me. This "lower level stylist" (and another girl that helped her that day) were actual earth angels -they were so understanding, nice, kind and a joy to be around. They helped me laugh at my mistake and they helped me to feel better about my hair. The day I had my hair extensions put in at the salon I had an appointment with my psychiatrist because I'm a healthcare worker suffering from PTSD. This is not normally an appointment I would do in such a public place but that was just the way my schedule worked out at the time and I need to refill my medication. This stylist was very understanding and assured me that it was no big deal and that many people work on their laptops while getting their hair done. Throughout my appointment I thought that we got along, we laughed, we had fun and she even asked me for my psychiatrist's number at the end of this. I have never given that number to anyone because it's so personal but because she just spent hours putting in my hair and I thought this was someone who could potentially be your friend I offered her the help and gave up that number. So to hear her calling me names (manic) behind my back to a mutual acquaintance was highly unprofessional. Mental health is some thing that is very near and dear to my heart and I've had many evaluation's but I have never been diagnosed as bipolar And even if I was that would not be something for this stylist to comment on or to make fun of somebody about. I literally spent a mortgage payment on my hair to be completely disrespected by this unprofessional girl and I wrote this review because I really hope nobody else has this same experience. Go somewhere else!

    Ivy is amazing! She has helped me so much with my hair. The transition from California to Missouri has been weird for my hair and she has helped keep it under control and happy. I also have her color my hair and she does an amazing job! Being a blond is not easy so when you can find a stylist who does it right it awesome. She really has a gift for color.

    I had an 8 am appointment. I had booked the appointment 10 days before! The day of my Gala, I walked in the shop and they said due to how long it will take to do your hair we cannot keep this appointment because we would have to push all the other appointments back! I asked, what about the loyalty of this appointment I'm a paying customer! They refused to do my Appointment. Kelly and Ellie told me that I was making them feel uncomfortable because of the attitude I have !‍ Totally unprofessional. DO NOT BOOK APPOINTMENTS WITH THEM. They only know how to do cuts like great clips and if your hair will take more than an hour they will deny your appointment with them. I told them my hair was long and may take a long time! They said they would do my hair and makeup. I walked out of the salon ‍ without makeup or hair done! CONSIDER YOURSELF WARNED TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL!

    This review is for my wife's experience. On their website Studio Branca advertised $115 for a full foil.I asked for my hair to be lightened from dark brown/black to a lighter color. I was told it would be an extra $30 for product to keep my hair from being "fried". I agreed. That adds up to $140. Total amount came out to $216 charged for extra gloss and color without being told it would cost more; and a full foil is $140 not $115. $100 more than advertised in total. My head started to burn in the heater. Instead of being lightened to a brown I have streaks of bright blonde and the blonde areas of my hair have become elastic and is all breaking off. Will never come here again. Ruined my hair and and I started crying once I got home and realized the extent of the damage.

    I am really sorry to be writing this review, because the salon in general was so nice at first and took care of me. My complaint is with the stylist Kristie, who failed to give back a full pack of tape ins after removing my hair last winter (less than a year ago) and the salon who did not believe me or even try to solve this issue with me. I was never late or missed an appointment until the last time I had an appointment. It was my last because of how I was treated. I was on my last week of pregnancy and accidentally slept through my appointment. She charged me the full price of my service instead of half or a portion like what is fair and usual practice. I was so torn on coming back I was hurt and also felt bad about the no show. But I soon realized that it is not custom to do this especially to a customer that has not done that before. I bought hair product, I came in on time, tipped well...I was a good customer and still I'm treated like this. On top of that when I ask for my hair back, not only did I get the run around for at least a month about it and no real message from Kristie trying to talk about it or make it better..she did not give back all of my hair. It's not about the money, it's the principal of it. If it was about the money, I wouldn't have easily spent so much on services and product. My regret is letting them charge me full price on a service not rendered, that is unfair. It is also illegal to steal something that is paid for by someone else. I never received my tape ins back, and the salon won't even try and reimburse me for it. They think I'm lying apparently, why would I lie? I could have saved all of this time and effort. I don't think it necessary to do this for something I already have. I could have easily moved on if that were the case, and would have been preferred. I do not make things up to just waste my time, I do this when I am mistreated blatantly more than once and then not believed when I say something about it. As this was going on I also heard many stories from at least 3 different ladies (who referred me to Kristie and who I referred to Kristie) who no longer go to Kristie because of her mal-practices. The salon never called me back when trying to resolve this issue, I took months trying to resolve it and I was never believed. Every time I called I was told I'd be called back and I was never called back. There is some shady things going on and I'm not the only one that that's gone through things like this with her. I even took a picture of what I received and I was still not believed, they insist I have all of my hair. But how do they know? The stylist kept client hair at her own house, and not at the salon. I had bought a volume weft and a pack of tape ins because of the shaved side of my head. It's on Kristies instagram even what she put in my hair. I only got back the weft and not the tape ins. So no, I did not get back all of my hair. I wonder who's head this pack of tapes is in right now...

I asked if there were any available appointments, and without checking, she stated they were fully booked. However, when I looked on the website, several appointments were available. I booked one immediately and walked back in. Although I had to wait about 30 minutes, no other customers came in for appointments during that time, which made the "fully booked" response confusing. I do want to highlight that my waxologist, Frankie, was wonderful. She was friendly, professional, attentive, and took the time to discuss my preferences and make sure I was happy with my brows. Frankie provided excellent customer service and did a great job. I also want to mention that Monica previously did an excellent job as a receptionist. She was always welcoming and made customers feel valued. If the goal is to encourage repeat business, I would recommend ensuring front desk staff greet customers warmly and avoid being on personal phones while guests are entering the business. A friendly first impression makes a big difference. The service from Frankie was the reason this visit ended on a positive note.

The guy used too much mousse, it wasn't what I wanted, and it was over $100!!! I've been growing my hair out but by bit for the last three years and thought nervously that it was time for a chop. I had pictures ready and everything, but when I saw her, I just gave her an idea. Medium length, highlights my eyes and waves, with volume and minimal styling. GUYS. It was only $60 and considering the look of the place I thought it was gonna be so much higher. She washed my hair, cut it with absolute precision for a whole hour, made wonderful conversation, stayed past closing time to style and blow dry it, and she DESERVED that tip I gave her. Wow. Go here and ASK FOR JEWELS!!!
