I came in the day before to make an appointment for the next day. They had a few price books and menus to review in both English and Spanish. At the time I made the appointment, I was asked to pay 100% for the facial. I didn't have my wallet with me, so after pushing back a bit, they said they would send a link to pay by credit card via WhatsApp. The link never came. The day of the appointment I was checked in. No mention of payment (or lack of payment) which the day prior has been such a big deal. The lady who did my facial was nice, but didn't speak during the entire process. The massage chair was very uncomfortable. During the facial the lady was unorganized and not prepared. She left a few times during the facial, she would drop things, and make a lot of excess noise. Facials are typically very relaxing for me. This one was rushed and I got the sense she wasn't experienced. For example, instead of massaging lotion on my face and neck, she would dab it with her fingers and then soon wipe it off. The extraction process was painful and extreme. My face is generally clean and I do my own extractions. She dug in deep in every inch of my skin trying to find something that wasn't there. My favorite part of a facial is when they massage your scalp, shoulders, and arms. This didn't happen. In the end she said "ok all done". Instead of the typical dazed, relaxed, peaceful state I'm in after a facial, I was left thinking "that's it???" Recommendations: Train your staff on an effortless customer experience, train the people doing the work on how to properly do the work, be more professional. If you've read this far, save yourself and go elsewhere. Artepil needs a lot of work and there are dozens of other high end spas in Puerto Vallarta.

At checkout they claimed it's actually $600 for haircut and another $600 for treatment. I didn't have time to be blow dried and they claimed to give me a discount for that but it was a lie I paid $1200 pesos. I like to tip generously but did not because I felt ripped off. Confirm pricing so you don't get the American tax.

I was a walk in, and the initial service I received was great. Friendly, professional, & provided drinks during your wait. I wanted a one color redo, I had previously died my hair dark brown over balayage and the bleached hair was starting to show. I just asked for one color and was quoted $1000 pesos. I got the service and as the gal was blow drying my hair, my roots were a completely different color than my hair. She mentioned she would have to do it. It took well past closing but I wasn't bothered as I rather have a job well done. When I was done, it looked mid, like if I had gone to the beauty store and did my hair myself. When it came time to pay, she changed me over four thousand pesos ($200 USD)... FOR ONE COLOR. It was ridiculous, I asked why and she said it was because of the product and time, even though they had made that mistake. Upon entering, I was greeted warmly and provided a pedicure chair and bowl. There were only 2 women working who were doing nails and I had a wait about 15 minutes as they finished someone else. There was also a receptionist and someone doing facial/spa services in the back. Diana did my toes she was very kind, gentle, and thorough with my pedicure. She did an exfoliating scrub massage on my feet and legs that almost put me to sleep and whatever product that was used smelled amazing. She really took her time and my nails came out great. It was probably one of the best pedicures I've had in a long time. The total with gel polish was 450 pesos + a 5% fee for credit cards, so about $25! I'm so happy I made the stop.
