The last 2 times I have gone to this Studio Brow I got pus filled bubbles all around my eyebrows. The lady that does eyebrows there didn't use any kind of sanitation wipe on my brows before waxing and used her barehands without gloves on. Her breath also smelled really bad and she kept blowing near my face on the wax. I only get this issue when I go to this salon. read more

I've been going to Studio Brow for a couple of years now and have been somewhat satisfied with the results (I have gorgeous eyebrows and people usually tend not to know what to do with them), but when I met Krystina my life literally changed!!! She threads my eyebrows so perfectly and does exactly what I ask her to do, clean me up and keep me full. I ADORE her as a person and as an eyebrow specialist. Every time I go here the metal gate is lowered. It's closed. Even when I call and ask about their day availabilities I get told "hey walkins are welcome between 5 and closing time." So I go and the store is closed. Each and every time. I wonder if I were to make an appointment ten days ahead and make plans around it will it be a waste go time? I decided to get my eyebrows threaded because I'm on hydroquinone which makes my skin sensitive. This location is beautiful and is located inside the mall in Trumbull. There was only one person working at the time and she wasn't very friendly on the phone when I called. She was nicer in person though. I told her that I just wanted the stray hairs to be gone because I'm trying to grow my eyebrows. She made them thin again! Now I have to start all over. I should've just gone to the lady that has her own stand right outside of the Studio Brow but I wanted more privacy while I was getting it done. I'm not sure if I'll go back. read more

I've been getting my eyebrows threaded for years and had no bad experiences at my old place before I moved to the area. I went in today to get them done and it was my worst experience yet. There was only 1 person working, which was fine when I was the only person there, but as other people came in she kept having to pause her work on my brows to talk to other customers. This in and of itself isn't damning, but the work done was excruciatingly painful. I already have sensitive skin and the process today was so slow going. Either she wasn't grasping hairs at the right location or something else as I could feel each hair being SLOWLY tugged out. Further, on multiple instanced the thread broke while she was yanking out my hairs which has never happened anywhere else. In addition to this, I asked for them to just be cleaned up (I have naturally thick, full brows and like them that way) and instead they were thinned out. I will not be going back here. read more

This was my first time at Studio Brow. Aish did fantastic on my lash lift and tint. I went in at first and the first lady that did mine did not look any different and weren't that well done for how much I spent. I went in the next day and Aish was extremely helpful and friendly. She fixed my eyelashes and made them exactly the way I wanted them. I recommend her, she is very nice and I will be booking her again. This is place is nice just need to know who to go to read more

If you could give 0 stars on yelp I would. The woman Jennifer who works there doesn't know how to do her job. My wife brought my 2 daughters there and one daughter had the space between her eyebrows not threaded and the other daughter had the tops of her eyebrows threaded off and the woman Jennifer said "oops, this never happens, I messed up, you need to buy a special oil so it'll grow back faster." My wife went back to say something and they had already closed the gates and Jennifer got in her face and angrily said "I told her I was sorry, they'll grow back" My wife gave both daughters cash for a tip and of course they both gave the employees tips, you would think she wouldn't have even accepted it knowing she did such a terrible job. I only go to Shea, all the other girls who work there seem to be trustworthy, but eyebrows are a serious thing and Shea is amazing. She listens, she's friendly and takes the time to make sure you are happy. I won't go to anyone else and highly recommend her for threading! read more

I've been going to studio brow for years now and I wouldn't go any where else. BUT you need to be careful. The experienced ladies know what their doing and I love them but the few times their is a new girl that doesn't know well enough, my whole month is ruined. I use to go to European waxing because they are very trust worthy but I much rather prefer the cleaned thin look rather then natural. Just recently this one girl did my brows and I couldn't tell if I'd seen her before but I was in a rush so I let her do them and now I'm so regretful. I'm about to go on vacation and I'm not happy with the shape or how thin she threaded them. But I'm giving them four stars because of the good employees and I really hope they will in the future make sure everyone on their team is experienced enough like the majority of their employees. read more

If I could give a negative star I would. Today I had the worst experience ever here with one girl that I can't seem to remember her name. I've been twice before with two other girls who groomed and shaped my eyebrows exactly as I liked. I have trust issues when it comes to my eyebrows and I thought that finally there's a place where it seems all the girls are amazing and really know what you want. I have thick eyebrows after years of being patient but on my left eyebrow theres a small gap that i just fill in with a brow pencil but its not so bad. Today i told the girl as always please only clean them I love thick eyebrows and she said sure. Apparently she heard the opposite and totally cut and chopped them of and just threaded them all away and her excuse was because I had the gap in my left eyebrow. I couldn't help but burst into tears right when I saw them in the mirror and she didn't even try to make me feel better. The other girls in the store were very sweet and trying to see what they can do and tried to draw them in but still it doesn't help in getting my eyebrows back. I was offered some enhancer that will help grow out the hair in 6 weeks but that will take time. I can't even look myself in the mirror because of how horrible they are. The shape is not even right and al choppy like someone that has no experience did them. Right after I went to Sephora and bought eyebrow products to draw my eyebrows on. Point of story don't trust every girl in there! P.S. this is the first review I have ever given in my life for anything and I probably would have never even gave a review if it wasn't how horrible my eyebrows look. read more

Went here off and on over the past few years and my experiences have only gotten worse. The last time I went, it was a 30 minute wait for an eyebrow waxing because someone was getting their brows tinted, which is fine but maybe have more than one person working? After getting waxed she left an abundance of wax on my face, which I pointed out and asked if she could remove it, and I was given attitude. She wiped a second time and STILL left wax all over my forehead and temples (it stayed on for about a week because I couldnt get it off). I figured maybe it was just that employee so I came back again today: they had one person working (again) who was busy eating lunch in the back and didnt see me waiting in the lobby, she rushed to wax me (wax wasnt even hot), THEY NEVER TWEEZE!!!!! And leave small stray hairs between and under my eyebrows (second time this happened) and she left all of the waxed hairs on my face instead of wiping them off. I dont understand the no tweezing thing either ???? I pay $16 for an eyebrow waxing and they dont bother to tweeze stray hairs.... overpriced and rude employees. You will be rushed. Save your money and go to the kiosk about 20 feet away. read more

My 15 year old daughter had her eyebrows waxed for the first time and she was burned. My receipt shows the employee name as, Kristina. Her eyebrows were done yesterday and this morning its obvious that she has serious burns. I called the studio maybe an hour after, and she didn't seem all that concerned that my daughter was in pain. Some of the girls in there are not truthful. If there is a higher paying customer that comes along, you get bumped even though you had an appointment. To make matters worse, they turn around and lie to you about it. Alisia is an angry person. If you don't do things her way, she snaps and her facial expression changes. If I could give negative stars I would. I went in to the Trumbull location, I usually go to Milford and they always make my brows look amazing. Trumbull location, awful. The girl there didn't even take off my makeup or brow gel to wax me...I asked her to keep them as thick as possible but they desperately needed shaping. She got wax on my eyelashes and left wax stuck to my face. Because she didn't remove my makeup basically no hair was removed. I ended up having to do a full pluck myself when I got home. All she did was wax above my brow (like wayyy above) and below (but not my actual brow) and what she did wax took basically nothing off. I even took pictures because I couldn't believe how bad they came out. I work at a high end cosmetic retailer, so having good brows is EXTREMELY important to me. Will never go back to studio brow. read more

Used to go to Khola only... Went one day in July, when she wasn't there, and got a woman that BUTCHERED my eyebrows. She claimed that they were all "trained" by Khola, but clearly she didn't learn anything. I mean, I've never seen such a bad job, I walked out of there in tears. I emailed Studio Brow's through their website contact form (and through my personal email a week later) to let them know about the terrible experience and received no response. VERY unprofessional. I will never go back and I used to go see Khola once a week. I hope she quits and starts her own company so that I can get my eyebrows done by her again. She's a gem, but I would never recommend Studio Brow to anyone! (P.S. someone told me she doesn't work there anymore.) read more

I've been going here for years and used to swear I would never go anywhere else, but there customer service has gone so downhill and not all of the women know how to do eyebrows. Last time I was there I got someone who had no idea how to handle my cowlick so she just ignored it - I actually had to ask her to go back and trim it. Then today I went there and the girl told me I needed to pay before the service - something I've never had to do before in the literal YEARS I've been going there. When I asked why she told me it was to prevent me from leaving without paying. I was desperate cause it had been so long since my eyebrows were done so I gave her my card but asked her to tell her manager or the owner how insulting this alleged new policy is. She stopped just short of rolling her eyes and said "well I CAN but this isn't my fault" and just kept repeating how it wasn't her fault even after I told her I understood that. Apparently arguing was more important to her than just agreeing to pass what I said onto the manager or owner. She ended up making me so uncomfortable I changed my mind about getting the service (she hadn't started it yet) so I asked for a refund, which she claimed not to know how to give. Overall she had a bad attitude. Never going back. read more
