I go on and off to this place because pretty low maintenance with my hair. I called pretty soon to closing time and asked if I can make an appointment with Maura and the lady I didn't get her name said yes. She had an early appointment by opening the next day. She asked for my information and that was that. The next day I show up waiting In car about 10-15 before. A employee lady shows up not Maura and I give her a min then walk in. She said Maura shouldn't be long if I have an appointment with her. I said yes and I continued to wait. She said that she message maura and she will be there soon she's on her way. I asked if it will be long she said no then she proceeds to tell me minutes later that maura will not be showing up. That she could take me. She was very sweet but I was going to chop my hair off and I don't know the lady's work. I told her thank you but I told her I was leaving. It was my to go to salon because it was close to home. But not good on the salons part I had to find daycare for the morning and was just frustrated and annoyed. I just think that she didn't actually write down my appointment or they didn't communicate properly. Either way will not give this place another chance. read more

I called the salon and asked about a perm for my Spanish speaking 81 year old grandmother who has short, thinning hair. I was told the perm was $55 dollars starting off. I asked for an appointment and they scheduled me for the same day at 12. When I walked in a lady with blonde hair and an accent pointed us towards another lady that would assist my grandmother my Gma needs to able to communicate with her hair dresser. The lady who was gonna assist us looked like She didn't want to do the job. That made me feel uncomfortable and not welcomed and made my grandma feel even worse. It was so unwelcoming we ended up leaving and I took our business elsewhere. The customer service is NOt there at this location. read more

After pouring over Yelp and reading the great reviews for Studio MV5, I took the plunge and so happy I did. Maura gave me an amazing cut and style. She had some great ideas for me, but totally left the decisions to me as to how I wanted it. The shop was very clean and comfortable. It's also a great location - an easy drive from anywhere. I had no idea this hidden Gem was even here and I live right down the street! I wanted to cut my hair but didn't want to the same ol' thing. No interaction. No knowledge. And especially no trust with the answers I get. I already go in confused with what I want but Maura absolutely exceeded my expectations. Seriously. I won't give my opinion if it's not worth my time. Not only did she look at the picture I gave her but she talked to me about it and explained it to me. Like she read my mind. I NEVER cut my hair short due to not really trusting who is cutting my hair & trust is huge for me but without hesitation I felt 100% confident in her work and words She is very professional, personable, & friendly and did I mention how inviting her salon is?!
