Staff helpful, accommodating, answer questions and give good suggestion (in general) except for one young lady who greeted us welcome and walked away. Sweetheart luckily found one knowledgeable lady who helped her and explained their products well. Got what we needed and checkout lady (Lupe) offered and helped us to apply for credit card to avail an additional 20% discount on our purchase. New Ulta location and so excited about it cause it's close to my home! This is located in the new Rialto Village shopping center ! Store is so well lit and really bright. Music playing makes you in the mood for shopping and the sweet smelling fragrance of the store made me just went to the Fragrance aisle. Am sure will come back to buy one. Ulta store has all the necessary magic merchandise to be beautiful again!! There's a hair salon, a Beauty Bar Area for makeup , ear piercing, brow and beauty service!! They offer an array of products for wellness, hair, makeup and accessories. For sure this is the place where transformations can magically happen !! read more

The parking center this location is located in is always packed and people constantly park in the curbside pickup spots. Because of this staff refuses to bring orders to your car and ask that you "come inside" to pick up your order. The whole point of curbside pickup is that I do not want to get out of my car. If staff will not tow people parking in curbside pickup spots they need to deliver your order to your car, DO BETTER Ulta! read more

So of course it's ULTA over SEPHORA all day...everyday! but this experience was Amazing. I got there about 20 before closing and was helped by a girl named KAT, she went above and beyond, was very patient even tho they were about to close, she listen to my issues even tho I'm sure she was probably like I'm just here to help you find products not also be your therapist lol I haven't had make up in almost 3 years, I lost everything and haven't left my cave in a while but it was my 34th birthday and even tho they were closing she made sure I had all the right stuff to feel pretty again and didn't rush me out, knew I had a budget and help me find great product for a great price, she made sure when I signed up for loyalty program she got me my birthday gift.... I felt comfortable asking her questions, most girls that work at make up stores are kind of stuck up and sometimes you feel stupid because you aren't pro like some of them think they are..... This is the last time I shop at this location. I come to this location often because of how close it is to my house, but honestly I would rather drive 15-30mins just to go to Renaissance Or Falcon Ridge. Whenever Vanessa isn't being straight up rude, she is incredibly passive aggressive. It's obvious her bad attitude has rubbed off on her employees because most of them have an attitude. I understand having a bad day or maybe a rude customer, but 1. She doesn't need to take it out on other people 2. I have never gone in there and have experienced Vanessa being a decent person. I really don't understand how she is a manager with that attitude. I would rather give my money to a different location than deal with the bad energy that flows through that store. I hope the DM has a thorough talk with that store. read more

Stopped in 10 minutes before close with my mom. The worker Sarah had a nasty look on her face already dealing with a police officer because someone stole. She rudely told me we close in 5 minutes, and she stared until I said okay. I ignored it and waited for my mom to grab a restock on her stuff she needed. So as we're being checked out by Sarah, like I said before she was on one because she was dealing with a prior issue. She was mad because my mom wasn't moving fast enough and was huffing and puffing , and rolling her eyes. Yet I still had not said anything, until she started taking forever, and another employee gave worst attitude and told us to hurry up and pick an option on how we'd like our receipt. Then I stepped in and said your customer service sucks. And she looks at me and says ok what do you want me to do? By then another employee stepped in and said we were treating them and talking to them wrong. Overall when we walked out the employee that stepped in for SARAH started laughing and was egging on the situation. Where is the professionalism? It's your job to help a customer out, not to give attitude or dirty looks. I hope they are talked to and that this review affects them. I will be calling the manager tomorrow and letting corporate know my bad experience. Because last time I checked we're spending the money not them. We pay a damn good amount to be treated poorly. Sarah hopefully you can learn how to ask for help or maybe be better at multitasking next time. read more

Manager Vanessa is super rude to people with disabilities! I went on an outing with a client and was rushing my client who was struggling to read the machine with the list of items . Did not let her read and would roll her eyes every time she asked a question. Then would ask my consumer if she was finished bc she's holding up the line. Let me mind you I asked her if she can go slow due to her disability! She totally rushed my client out. My client left in tears and said she felt embarrassed!!! Never coming again. read more

It's incredibly disappointing when a professional fails to meet expectations, especially for a special occasion like prom. The lack of communication and professionalism by Francella led to a stressful and unpleasant situation for my daughters' first experience getting her hair styled for prom at Ulta in South Riverside in Rialto on Saturday April 13. It's important for hairstylists to be able to handle different hair types and styles gracefully, without resorting to anger, frustration, or lack of accountability. Any client, in this case my daughter, deserves professional treatment and a positive experience for her prom day preparations. For context, Francella asked my daughter one week in advance for a picture of how she wanted her hair styled on the day of her appointment. My daughter sent her three different photos of styles (all three were with one braid with hair down and curled) Francella received these photos 1 week in advance. Francella did not communicate she did not know how to braid, ask my daughter for the possibility of choosing a different hairstyle, or try perhaps to watch tutorials on how to braid and practice to help her prepare for the day of my daughters' appointment. Instead, she received my daughter for her appointment and while I stepped away (I found out later by my daughter) Francella complained about my daughters hair as she attempted multiple times to start a braid on her hair. After failed attempts, she asked her two coworkers for assistance. Her coworkers graciously tried to help her but were also unable to make a braid. When that occurred, Francella became upset and frustrated and yelled at her coworkers for failing to do the braid Francella was supposed to do in the first place on my daughter's hair. Francella was rude and unprofessional in front of her client and to her coworkers that were only trying to help. When I returned, Francella was a different person. She was apologetic to me about not being able to complete her braid. As Francella would attempt to braid my daughter's hair, she would tell me that her nails were getting in the way. She would repeatedly say "it's my nails, my nails are not letting me braid your daughter's hair, I don't know how to braid, etc" At this point it's already been 1 hour and 15 minutes at the very least, and she is not even half way done with the style. Francella tries to imply that she is not supposed to do it exactly like the picture, and tries to convince us to just accept the hair style as is which is unacceptable. We were not expecting perfection yet we did pay for a style with an actual braid similar (not the same) as the examples given to her one week in advance. I ask Francella if she would like to try something different, something she feels comfortable with, a different hair style she may think will go with my daughter's dress for prom. At this point we are giving her open reign to salvage the possibility of making my daughter's hair styling experience a positive one. Francella says she's got nothing that comes to mind and instead asks one of her coworkers that she had yelled at for help. (Remember at this time I am unaware that Francella complained about my daughter's hair while my daughter was present, and that she had been unprofessional to her coworkers in front of her client.) Had I known this before hand, I would have personally asked for the manager, made her aware of what happened and then left. Because I was unaware of this, I was trying my best to consider her livelihood and what seemed sincere attempt to braid my daughter's hair. I was wrong. Instead, almost two hours later, Francella ended up just curling my daughter's hair and called it a day. Unfortunately, Francella never took accountability for not being prepared and admitting one week in advance she would not be able to do execute the hairstyle my daughter had requested. Honesty and accountability beforehand would have saved everyone time, money, but most importantly the awful experience my daughter went through just a few hours before prom. If you are looking for someone at Ulta to do your hair, Francella would be my last recommendation to do it. read more

I had gotten my makeup done for prom by Ariana Lopez, and it was absolutely perfect. I looked beautiful and I will cherish the photos me and my friends took. She was very nice and helped me decide what look I wanted and gave me recommendations on my foundation and how my eyes could look. I didn't talk to her much but she would totally have an interesting conversation with you while she does your makeup. If you get your makeup done by Ariana, just know you are in GREAT hands! :)) read more
