I contacted the salon and they say that they are reviewed picture I have a yellow band all around my head. I asked for a root smudge but didnt get it. Im upset because I felt welcomed i really wanted her to be my new hair stylist. Also I was 353.00 because I pais with my debit but when I got the email confirming my payment it said 240.00. I hope this don't happen again.

I came here for hair cut and color I am Indian and my hair is dark brown/black. So coloring is a whole ordeal and I dont usually trust people with my hair But from the moment I walked into this place, it was just pure good vibes. Sona took such good care of my hair She has gentle hands and unlike other salons, I barely lost any hair. I took very long partly because my hair is super long and because of how dark my hair is. Sona was very patient and addressed all my concerns with a smile and warmth. I never felt afraid of saying something if I didnt like it. I believe I told her twice that I thought my base was too light and both the times she addressed my concerns with a different approach. Part of it was my fault because I did not communicate clearly Regardless, I felt so welcomed and cared for. I am hooked and I would recommend this place to everyone. Saw the ads on FB. I read good reviews . To find a good salon near my place is a plus. I made an appointment over the phone because from the ads it said a certain amount for the service which was reasonable and asked me what's my hair length and if I have thick or thin hair. So I said I have very thin hair and shoulder length hair. So she gave me the approximate amount. I went there and waited a while. Of course the time was not followed , started late on me . I showed her the hair style and the highlight/ color that I want. I was there for 3.5 hours . She was nice . She dried my hair and put some hair spray but she over did it and my har looked hard after . It didn't show the style I want, like for my hair to fall naturally, because of too much hair spray . I was not happy how it looked on me . I didn't say anything anymore because it was going late and I had to go somewhere. When she told me how much I was going to pay .. I was surprised. With my thin and short hair , I spent almost $300. The ads I saw was saying different .. there were treatments that supposedly included in the service for the amount of less than $200 . It's been 3 days since I had my hair cut and color and still looking myself at the mirror ..I'm not satisfied . I'm sorry .. this is my review. read more

I was in a walk in and i was taken in right away due to it being a Wednesday it wasn't that busy but i was warmly greeted by channy all i wanted was a silk press and a trim and she did so good! service was fast quality was great and the vibes are calm relaxing perfect. Big thanks to Channy my hair stylist, for giving me beautiful color and a fabulous layered cut! I wish I could have found Hair Etc. sooner. Today was my first visit. I called to schedule a same day appointment with no problem. The salon is well designed, very clean, and a relaxed space. The owners are freindly and professionals. Channy explained everything she needed to do to bring me back to a brown color. My hair had been highlighted for years, then I started using box color (blonde shades) the last 5 months which began to damage my hair more (dry, breakage, thinning). I look forward to my next visit! Absolutely ridiculous to have massage chairs and not allow your customer to use them. I also had $30 in rewards which they didn't let me use. They only let me use $15 and said if I wanted to use the entire $30 that I need to spend a minimum of $120. NOWHERE DOES IT STATE THAT IN THEIR REWARD PROGRAM!! I even asked the last time I came because I bought a new house and I am moving so I won't be close by and wanted to use my $30 reward and was told I could use it all at my next pedicure. The worker who took my payment refused to let me use my points and is such a liar. Shitty customer service. I've been going to Hair Etc since 2006 even though I don't live anywhere near. They were recommended by a friend of mine and I'm glad she did! I have never had any problems with any of their services. I have tried other places that are closer to me or cheaper and I always come back to Chany because they are the best at what they do. So needless to say, I'M DONE LOOKING ELSEWHERE!!! All staff at Hair Etc are very professional and courteous. Chany isn't just a hair dresser, she is a friend and an excellent human being with a big heart, she doesn't treat you like a money transaction, she treats you like a person and a friend, she uses nothing but quality products and gives you honest advise when you need it. Best of all, you always come out of there looking like a celebrity on the red carpet. I've done my hair, my eye lash extensions, and my permanent make-up there and I highly recommend them to any and all who want a job WELL DONE!!! read more

Sonia was our stylist. She is good at a cut... But only if you have the same taste as her. My sister came in on my referral. If you tell her you want a trim and your hair is straight across... She'll cut 5 inches off the top layer giving you layers! Then tell you layers look good and give more volume.... She never wanted layers!! She needs to learn how to do what people ask, and not what SHE thinks looks good. Now we have to wait a year just to cut the bottom to remove the layers and not trim the top layer. It's infuriating when you trust someone with scissors around you. She even joked about how she would rather cut less on people so they need to come back more often.... Then cut way more with the stupid layers. read more

I have been going to Hair Etc for about 4 years and love getting my permanent make up done there! Lynette is amazing at making my eyebrows and eyeliner look natural. I get so many compliments when I tell people that it's permanent make up and most people don't believe me! ;) she makes brush strokes through the brow to make it look like real hair! I used to get it done by someone else before I found out about Hair Etc. and I can say that the topical numbing cream that Lynette uses makes the experience 10 times better. I've been getting my haircuts here for 15+ years. I don't go anywhere else. This is a great salon cuz they get the job done, no fluff. They are just good at what they do. Many salons or barbershops might look newer and trendier but they can't match the experience of the hairstylists here (everyone's been doing hair for over 20 years). I switch hairstyles here and there and it always comes out the way I want. Definitely would recommend for anyone in the area looking for a go to place for haircuts. read more

My stylist was very understanding in what I wanted and was very gentle to my rough hair. The entire vibe is calming, definitely if you need a nice haircut. Despite everything, I was still charged $30 with no apology. Instead, I was told, "Next time don't ask for shorter." I do not recommend this place for children's haircuts.
