Channy did an amazing job from customer service to getting thr color i wanted im in love. *** update*** After washy my hair and trying to put it up I can't. I contacted the salon and they say that they are reviewed picture I have a yellow band all around my head. I asked for a root smudge but didnt get it. Im upset because I felt welcomed i really wanted her to be my new hair stylist. Also I was 353.00 because I pais with my debit but when I got the email confirming my payment it said 240.00. I hope this don't happen again.

I made an appointment over the phone because from the ads it said a certain amount for the service which was reasonable and asked me what's my hair length and if I have thick or thin hair. So I said I have very thin hair and shoulder length hair. So she gave me the approximate amount. I went there and waited a while. Of course the time was not followed , started late on me . I showed her the hair style and the highlight/ color that I want. I was there for 3.5 hours . She was nice . She dried my hair and put some hair spray but she over did it and my har looked hard after . It didn't show the style I want, like for my hair to fall naturally, because of too much hair spray . I was not happy how it looked on me . I didn't say anything anymore because it was going late and I had to go somewhere. When she told me how much I was going to pay .. I was surprised. With my thin and short hair , I spent almost $300. The ads I saw was saying different .. there were treatments that supposedly included in the service for the amount of less than $200 . It's been 3 days since I had my hair cut and color and still looking myself at the mirror ..I'm not satisfied . I'm sorry .. this is my review.

I came here for hair cut and color I am Indian and my hair is dark brown/black. So coloring is a whole ordeal and I dont usually trust people with my hair But from the moment I walked into this place, it was just pure good vibes. Sona took such good care of my hair She has gentle hands and unlike other salons, I barely lost any hair. I took very long partly because my hair is super long and because of how dark my hair is. Sona was very patient and addressed all my concerns with a smile and warmth. I never felt afraid of saying something if I didnt like it. I believe I told her twice that I thought my base was too light and both the times she addressed my concerns with a different approach. Part of it was my fault because I did not communicate clearly Regardless, I felt so welcomed and cared for. I am hooked and I would recommend this place to everyone. Big thanks to Channy my hair stylist, for giving me beautiful color and a fabulous layered cut! I wish I could have found Hair Etc. sooner. Today was my first visit. I called to schedule a same day appointment with no problem. The salon is well designed, very clean, and a relaxed space. The owners are freindly and professionals. Channy explained everything she needed to do to bring me back to a brown color. My hair had been highlighted for years, then I started using box color (blonde shades) the last 5 months which began to damage my hair more (dry, breakage, thinning). I look forward to my next visit! I've been going to Hair Etc since 2006 even though I don't live anywhere near. They were recommended by a friend of mine and I'm glad she did! I have never had any problems with any of their services. I have tried other places that are closer to me or cheaper and I always come back to Chany because they are the best at what they do. So needless to say, I'M DONE LOOKING ELSEWHERE!!! All staff at Hair Etc are very professional and courteous. Chany isn't just a hair dresser, she is a friend and an excellent human being with a big heart, she doesn't treat you like a money transaction, she treats you like a person and a friend, she uses nothing but quality products and gives you honest advise when you need it. Sonia was our stylist. She is good at a cut... But only if you have the same taste as her. My sister came in on my referral. If you tell her you want a trim and your hair is straight across... She'll cut 5 inches off the top layer giving you layers! Then tell you layers look good and give more volume.... She never wanted layers!! She needs to learn how to do what people ask, and not what SHE thinks looks good. Now we have to wait a year just to cut the bottom to remove the layers and not trim the top layer. It's infuriating when you trust someone with scissors around you. She even joked about how she would rather cut less on people so they need to come back more often.... Then cut way more with the stupid layers. read more

Very satisfied! I've been coming here for years since I was a child and I cannot trust anyone else with my hair. My hair was very long and flat and I wanted to add some volume and layers while still keeping some length to my hair to get that blow out look! Sona did exactly what I had pictured for my hair she listened carefully to all the details I asked for. I am so happy with the out come my hair looks much more healthier and voluminous. I have been going to Hair Etc for about 4 years and love getting my permanent make up done there! Lynette is amazing at making my eyebrows and eyeliner look natural. I get so many compliments when I tell people that it's permanent make up and most people don't believe me! ;) she makes brush strokes through the brow to make it look like real hair! I used to get it done by someone else before I found out about Hair Etc. and I can say that the topical numbing cream that Lynette uses makes the experience 10 times better. I've been getting my haircuts here for 15+ years. I don't go anywhere else. This is a great salon cuz they get the job done, no fluff. They are just good at what they do. Many salons or barbershops might look newer and trendier but they can't match the experience of the hairstylists here (everyone's been doing hair for over 20 years). She mentioned to not worry about because she was professional and knew what she was doing. Very well. She left my hair orange/yellow/brownish/brassy and my roots out with several stains spots. Nothing like the photos I have showed as reference. I never seen a such poor color job for a such expensive price. $750 in cash because she does not accept Zelle plus $100 deposit paid applepay. When I divided the hair in sections I noticed more mistakes. I contacted her.. her response was "I cannot give you a refund but I can give you a color correction if her mistake". So I went there on a Sunday when the salon was empty and closed and she tried to manage to fix but still didn't correct for what I was hoping would be. I've done the hair with her came back for a correction few days later and still wasn't good. Very sloppy. Here I will post photos of her job and those pictures will speak for it self. She destroyed my hair color and refused to give a refund basically telling on my face that I have to deal financially,emotional and visually with her mistakes and be ok with it. I have mentioned to her that this hair transformation meant a lot for me because I just been out of a domestic violent relationship and I'm single mother so this transformation was going to help me with my self esteem and now I feel deceived, scammed by this person name Lina "the blonde plug" and I have to pay more money for someone to do the job right and she avoided to reply my last text.
