I've had a wonderful experience with every trainer there so far, and I've been shopping around looking for the right Pilates studio and am finding that it can be difficult to find a place where every trainer is very intuitive and educated on the body. I was completely new to Pilates, started with an informative free intro session. I have now been visiting Studio V for a little over a year now. They offer a variety of class times, allowing me to be consistent even with working full time. In addition to Pilates reformer classes they offer a variety of group fitness classes and fusion classes. I also love how they offer the opportunity for private sessions- that is something that has really helped me in my fitness journey. The instructors are amazing, professional, supportive, knowledgeable and welcoming. Music playlists are always on point. Special events throughout the year too! I will start off by saying I deliberately waited an entire year to write this review because I wanted it to be as accurate as possible. That said, I LOVE Studio V. While I've taken a few of the group classes here and there (I really do enjoy Piloxing and Aerial Silks), I mostly stick to reformer 5 to 6 days a week. Reformer has transformed my body in a way that no other exercise ever has. I love it because it's low impact and you can adjust the springs on the machine to suit how you feel in the moment. I really prefer this compared to some group classes where you feel like you have to push yourself over the limit every time, even if you're not feeling up to it that day. You're in charge of your progress and your results. One added bonus, too, is that you can go to a noon class and not get so sweaty that you would have to shower before going back to work. It's still a great workout, just not so much cardio. The staff here really are great - so well educated and informed about the way the machines are meant to be used. And they are awesome about keeping things clean and tidy. As far as pricing goes, I'm on the unlimited plan and I wouldn't trade it for anything. I can appreciate that people aren't all in the same financial situation, but for me it's an investment in my health and well being. It's important to remember that these instructors have gone through a lot of training and education to do what they do very well, and the classes are very small with (I think) 7 people. If you want a personal training feel for a much more reasonable price, this is actually a fantastic value. I'm happy to help keep them in business. Lastly, I've been to other studios when I travel for work, and I wouldn't trade any of them for Studio V! read more

I love this place! All of the instructors are awesome! I have never done Pilates before so this is the first place I went to and I fell in love. I purchased the unlimited reformer classes for the 1st month. I absolutely love Pilates and I work muscles I never knew I had. Between Melissa, Megan and Sonia let me tell you they really know how to work every muscle group in just one session. I actually hate exercising or the typical gym environment but I go to Pilates everyday! So worth it! I have been coming to Studio V everyday for three weeks now and I love seeing my own improvements I wish I could keep coming. Wow- not even sure where to begin. I was bummed the Studio opened up just as I was moving to the East Bay last year, but I came in for a Pilates Reformer class over a holiday weekend in January and loved it! I later ended up moving back to the area right before summer of this year. One of the trainers told me about a program they were just starting- Bikini Bootcamp- and how she thought I would love it! To give you the short version of what BBC is- an 8 week accountability program with all access to trainers, nutrition information, meal plans and exercises! I loved the first round so much I signed up for the second installment, and after only 11 weeks I saw a HUGE difference in my body: 16lbs lost, 25inches and 10% of my body fat depleted- and I'm not even done yet! I could not sing high enough praises about Studio V and its staff- I have never been as healthy as I am today and I could not have done it without them. If you haven't tried out a class- whether it be Zumba, bootcamp, Aerial Yoga or Pilates Reformer...do yourself a favor and get in here! read more

Extraordinary staff and modern space! Hosted a private aerial yoga event and Elise was phenomenal throughout the entirety of the process. Everything was organized and there was no judgment, she even stayed over the alloted time to make sure everyone received quality training and had a blast! Reformer Pilates at this Studio actually saved my life. I tried out another Reformer Pilates place in Modesto and was extremely disappointed with how they treated me. I then searched for another reformer Pilates place and found Studio v. This was about 9 months ago and I'm hooked. This place has the best instructors and the best team. They get to know you individually and really care about your personal goals. I've had extremely severe back problems and reformer Pilates really did save my life! I had my very first pilates reformer session with Sonia. She was so amazing! If I could give 1000+ stars I would. I appreciate that before you even start a group glass there is one on one time that you have with a trainer. In my session we were able to tweak moves and to look at what my body was capable of (without any judgement) Sonia is incredibly easy to talk to and approachable. This Studio is seriously one of the best that I've been to; the workouts are amazing and the staff is exceptional booming with personality. A coworker and I work across the street and walked in one day and got a quick info session from Julie and we left wanting to come back because she had such enthusiasm. We met Megan on our first intro session and she seriously has the biggest heart and welcomed us with open arms. This place is amazing! Great atmosphere! Went to Zumba and Yoga here this week. Sue was the instructor and she was awesome! Her Zumba was hands down the best group class I have taken, and the yoga class afterwards was the perfect end. In both classes she demonstrated modifications to make the moves easier (almost everyone does this) and then offered modifications to make them harder too, loved that!! The facility in general was gorgeous and clean and the staff was so friendly and welcoming. They all have perfect bodies, of course, but weren't intimating or judgmental (something I've encountered at other places). They have a room with several Pilates machines and I would love to give that a try too! I honestly can't wait to go back tomorrow!! The place is always clean and the classes are mostly great. I would give it more stars if it weren't completely over-priced, if the staff was more organized, and if the owner ever bothered to answer her own emails or phone calls. Be warned that if you want to cancel you have a fight on your hands...or at least be willing to fork over a lot of money. I go to the 6am Monday morning bootcamp and the Reformer classes Wednesday and Friday- both are amazing workouts! All of the instructors are well trained and can modify all exercises to fit any fitness level. Most gyms that I have gone to can be very intimidating and the staff extremely unfriendly. Studio V has the best employees that make it a fun atmosphere to workout in. Try any of the Pilates Reformer workouts and the soreness will be well worth it- trust me! read more

I completely adore Studio V. The staff is so friendly and encouraging, and not once have I ever felt uncomfortable or judged. The classes are fun and scheduling them through the website or app is simple and convenient. While it is a bit higher up in cost, it makes complete sense to me why and it's not uncommon for private studios and gyms in our area to have higher rates. You pay a bit more to have a very intimate, personal training experience as opposed to anyone and everyone joining and feeling lost in the crowd or like just another person. Here you truly feel cared for and supported. Aerial Yoga is my absolute favorite thing, but I have never been disappointed with any of the classes I've tried.
