Are there showers at this location? Thank you

Yes! We have everything for you! Towels, soap, shampoo, Dry bar and everything you need to head off to work after class!

Are classes packed, is it difficult to get in etc?

I love love love the early morning weekday classes (periodically weekends), because they get my butt up in the morning, I start my day off right, and I feel great the rest of the week. My classmates are so down to earth, the teachers are very helpful at making sure you're aligned properly so you get the most out of your workouts. (Special shoutouts to Marcia, Laura, Jordan, and Hafiza for their attention to detail, explanations, and extra help) The studio is clean, and the energy at those morning classes is such a great way to center my mind and body in preparation for the rest of the day. The workouts are really what you make it - challenge yourself if you want to really feel the burn. My favorite class? Bar method strength. It burns so good! (My inner thighs are still on fire from yesterday morning's class - getting stronger!) Second favorite is bar method express + restore. I love stretching after a challenging workout. If you're looking for a great space, teachers, and community, this is it.

They greet you with a smile and make you feel right at home from day one. The classes: They are a constant challenge, but so enjoyable! They have helped me tremendously with both my physical and mental health; coming here is the perfect therapy to feel good. The studio & community: The space is always spotless and super clean. On top of that, the pricing is great, and I absolutely love the events they host throughout the year. Thank you for everything! I highly recommend it if you're looking for a space that takes care of you inside and out.

I saw multiple people look confused as to where to place things back. I asked if there were wipes so I could wipe down my station and was told that the entire studio was disinfected including every single weight, and all towels were washed. I was doubtful since some of the classes on the class schedule were back to back. So basically they're tone policing me and telling me I looked dissatisfied, and then REPORTED me over that. ****I would personally not recommend going to a studio where they ban people for asking questions and being cautious.**** I went to one class and they banned me for asking for help, which is wild. I came early with my coworker and was excited to work out with her. During the class I moved through all the movements and asked for a modification during a lunge. I also asked for help when I wasn't feeling a stretch at the end of class. The instructor simply said "well I guess you just won't feel it then" and walked away. Other than that, I did not interact with the instructor. 2 days later I received an email saying I was banned because of my "behavior toward the instructor." I think this decision was more about the instructor's ego than anything else. I definitely don't recommend coming here unless you are someone with no fitness background and would rather be in silent pain than ask for help. And don't even bother if you have any sort of problems at all! Knee injury? Back pain? "Guess you just won't feel it then." I also want to share that I had an alternative experience at a local yoga studio where I was tentative about things and despite that, everyone made me feel incredibly welcome and invited me back. Even though it wasn't my cup of tea, I gave it a fair shot and have nothing but great things to say about the studio and team there and reviewed it accordingly. It really doesn't have to end this way, but some businesses are just really feedback-averse and that's disappointing to see.

I still have vivid imagery of the instructor rudely saying I'm too late and shutting the door in my face. UPDATE: They had the audacity to ask me to retract my Yelp review after sharing some random policy they should have shared with me beforehand. pure barre has been a dying institution for years now (which is why I'm guessing there were 18 slots left when I signed up the night before and why they're trying to fill slots). The passive aggressive attitude of the instructor and poor management response really doesn't help that. I don't recommend anyone go here especially when barre3, la barre, and barre method are all right there. Came for a 6:30am class and no one picked up when I tried to ask for directions. Difficult location to find and instructor turned me away. Definitely don't recommend!

I recently completed physical therapy for my neck and back and I wanted to get back into doing pilates to work on my core more + continue stretching out my neck and back. I also felt like getting a membership here was cheaper than what I was paying for PT so I feel it's so worth. They had a deal for unlimited classes (31 classes) for $149 I believe, and it's such an amazing offer, especially if you're going to be consistent with going and making use of your credits. The instructors are so lovely and I haven't encountered any issues with anyone there. Stacey and Annie are my favorite instructors. They care so much about your form and your comfort, which I appreciate so so much. Everything is super clean and well-organized. Each station is fully stocked. The instructor lets you know what items you'll need for class but they also have a wall chart that shows what equipment will be used for the class. I'd called the studio multiple times to try and let them know that I would be late, but no one picked up the phone. I had done everything I could to do my due diligence but could not plan for the closure. Anyone with empathy would have understood. I was a member at the time, had never asked for an extension before in my history with the studio, and had no way of knowing that a political demonstration would shut down their street to foot and car traffic. When I arrived the woman at the front desk did not even care to ask if I was a member nor check to see if I'd ever requested a late arrival before. She just told me "no". It was really frustrating that she basically shrugged her shoulders and said "its policy" to not let anyone in past 5 minutes when it had been exactly 6. I understand the principle, but if it's someone's first time and they are a paid member (not ClassPass ) then they should be given a one time forgiveness. Despite canceling, I was going to give them benefit of the doubt and not leave a yelp review because they assured me they were genuinely sorry for the experience. That all changed today when I saw that I have been charged not once not twice but THREE times since this incident. Despite signing a form on the spot that day and the manager assuring me, this would not happen. I'd been charged full price of the membership 3x when I had never stepped foot in the studio ever since. I cannot tell you how frustrating it is to once again I have to go through the endless loop of trying to get a hold of someone at this business. I would never sign up here because you will never be able to know you are truly canceled.

I found Almaden Yoga through the Mind Body app - it's within 5 miles of the house - so decided to give it a try. The class that worked with my schedule was Wall Yoga, which was described as a class where you'd use the wall to help work on alignment in your poses. I worried that it would be a pretty mellow class but signed up anyway. My concern was completely unwarranted, at least based upon the way Anuja taught it. Using the wall meant not having to worry about balance - an issue for me given an arthritic left big toe and a chronically sprained right ankle - meaning that we could focus upon fuller expression of the poses thereby requiring greater strength. I was literally dripping sweat by halfway through the class. It's a beautiful studio, conveniently located near my childhood home. I'll be sure to come back the next time I am out for a visit.
