I just happened to be going to solidcore for a Lagree workout and saw this too. I went to Solidcore because it was my daughter's gift and had to use it before it expires. I happen to be around the area for work and It was a little bit farther from home so I said to myself why not take advantage and get their welcome week package. Though I only attended 3 classes. I have had Yoga classes from different places and I love this one too because it's in the central location of the Santana Row mall. And across is Solidcore so I took back-to-back classes. Lol It's good to take classes in the morning because the area is not crowded yet. I did a little bit of walking beforehand then go to Starbucks and order a refreshing drink before I start to go to the class. I love this location it's clean and has huge restrooms with showers ... that way you don't have to wait too long specially when you're in a hurry. Lol I love their instructors too. Very nice and pleasant. I recommend this place.

Such a fun challenge! I get that it's called Hot 8 but it truly is super hot I do corepower often but this is a big step up from that. The cooling towels do help. I love that they offer 7 days of unlimited classes for $39 and I saw it is offered on Classpass as well :) I got to try the 26 & 2, Power, Yin, & Barre. Highly reccomend bringing in electrolytes and going early to find parking. I really want to try their sculpt classes but often times it's booked. Please add more sculpt classes!

I've been a member at this studio for almost 3 years now. I love this space and the people and woman running it. The heat is nice and HOT just like it's suppose to be, the showers , locker rooms are normally pretty upkept and clean. The studio space has two rooms and they're nice and spacious and the props are cleaned off every day. I love how accommodating, thoughtful and kind the staff/instructors are. Yesenia has been amazing with assisting with the things I have questions upon , & she does it well with grace. Steph & Miranda are one of the many instructors I enjoy taking during the week for a nice, powerful sculpt class. One thing I'd like to add is maybe a bigger space for the locker rooms in the ladies bathroom bc it can get really crowded. I will continue to come here because it doesn't only bring a sense of belonging but a sense of home. I love starting my week with some mindfulness and this studio had fulfilled that.

Shout out to the instructors and front desk for making it comfortable and being so welcoming for a first timer! They always recommend to go at your own pace and they will help you correct your posture to keep it as a good habit so you wouldn't hurt yourself. They have a lot of amenities to offer and my favorite ones have to be the eucalyptus towels and clean bathroom/lockers. Yoga mats, towel mats, shower towels, are all available to rent. All you need is comfortable clothes, a yoga mat, a yoga towel mat, and a hydro flask. I suggest taking Yin to help acclimate to the heat and I believe Power 1 would be the next stepping stone to advance further. Some tips! - Hydrateeeeee. - I recommend downloading the Hot 8 Yoga app, it's so much easier to find classes available. - Come in 10 to 15 minutes early to prepare for class. - Find a mantra to keep in your practice.

I was recommended to try Hot 8 Yoga for relaxation and flexibility / strengthening. The staff provide excellent service and answer all of your questions regarding classes and membership. For novices you can try a week trial for a very cheap price and then decide if you want the ten class package deal, or the monthly packages (5 classes per month vs unlimited). I enjoy Power Yoga the most because it combines flexibility, strengthening, endurance, and meditation / mindfulness elements. They have good instructors who vary in approach and style. The best instructors both give clear instruction and and wisdom on mindfulness. Some are more focused on getting you physically sound and that's ok too. The facility is very clean, and there is an excellent water station right near the locker rooms. They provide shower towels for free, and you can also rent mats for a fee. I was happy the staff members took my hairdryer issue seriously, and now the men's locker room has a brand new hairdryer. The shower line can get long depending on the popularity of the class, especially Yin. Parking is easy to moderate. Just park in the complex across the street.

As someone who…read moregoes to the gym every day and does a variety of workouts, I truly underestimated Pure Barre, and wow, I could not have been more wrong. The small studio creates an intimate, personal vibe for each individual while still fostering a strong sense of belonging. The instructor, who is also the owner, Selam, walked around the room and gently adjusted our posture and positioning throughout the class, which made the experience feel very intentional, attentive, and supportive. Pure Barre focuses on targeting the smallest muscle groups, the ones you normally cannot reach or do not even realize exist. You only discover them the next day when everything is sore. I was sweating, my body was shaking while holding some of the positions, and I could feel muscles working that I did not know I had. That is what a great workout does, and that is how you know the hour was truly well spent. What sets Pure Barre Sunnyvale apart from other gyms is its unique, family-like vibe, something you do not find everywhere. From the cleanliness, cozy lighting, and thoughtfully provided equipment to the beautiful souls in the local community, everyone comes together regardless of fitness level to work toward the same goal. With about ten people in each session, you have enough personal space while still feeling a sense of belonging, acceptance, safety, and support. It truly feels like a community that is growing and thriving together, and that is the right environment for people to excel in both their fitness and personal goals. So if you have not tried Pure Barre, want to change up your exercise routine, challenge yourself with new movements, shift your workout vibe, be part of a beautiful and positive community, are just starting your fitness journey and do not know where to begin, or are simply curious and want to discover muscle groups you did not know you had, Pure Barre Sunnyvale is the answer. Give it a try, and you will come back to thank me later.

They offer corrections (off of the mic - they come up to you personally) for your form to ensure you're getting the most out of your workout and to avoid potential injuries. I work full time and have two small children so I really appreciate that they offer so many class times to choose from. They have an app for easy scheduling, which helps me plan my workouts in advance. The owners are warm, welcoming, and genuinely care about the member experience. They are fostering a real sense of community at this beautiful fitness studio and I'm so happy to be a part of it.

I saw multiple people look confused as to where to place things back. I asked if there were wipes so I could wipe down my station and was told that the entire studio was disinfected including every single weight, and all towels were washed. I was doubtful since some of the classes on the class schedule were back to back. So basically they're tone policing me and telling me I looked dissatisfied, and then REPORTED me over that. ****I would personally not recommend going to a studio where they ban people for asking questions and being cautious.**** I went to one class and they banned me for asking for help, which is wild. I came early with my coworker and was excited to work out with her. During the class I moved through all the movements and asked for a modification during a lunge. I also asked for help when I wasn't feeling a stretch at the end of class. The instructor simply said "well I guess you just won't feel it then" and walked away. Other than that, I did not interact with the instructor. 2 days later I received an email saying I was banned because of my "behavior toward the instructor." I think this decision was more about the instructor's ego than anything else. I definitely don't recommend coming here unless you are someone with no fitness background and would rather be in silent pain than ask for help. And don't even bother if you have any sort of problems at all! Knee injury? Back pain? "Guess you just won't feel it then." I also want to share that I had an alternative experience at a local yoga studio where I was tentative about things and despite that, everyone made me feel incredibly welcome and invited me back. Even though it wasn't my cup of tea, I gave it a fair shot and have nothing but great things to say about the studio and team there and reviewed it accordingly. (No "100" socks pictured; they're waiting to get in my size!) I'm happy and grateful to have this studio to stick with. I really like the instructors, staff, and owners. I'm stronger than I've been in years. Though I had laparoscopic surgery last year, I was finally able to do a real full sit-up (using just my core, not my arms, legs, or momentum) just this month. I still can't do full push ups, but I'm doing very solid half push ups -- hips flat/down, arms and elbows in. My lower back is stronger but still on the weaker side -- this is a problem area for several women in my family. My feet are much improved -- I have a variant of plantar fasciitis and wear inserts outside the studio. It wasn't clear whether PB would be good or bad for my feet, but it turns out it's been really good! (If not, I would have modified the exercises, or switched to something else.) There's a few other things I'm tracking/working on, but all in all, PB has been very, very good for me. Honestly, I'm not a hugely exercise-y person, and I envy people who actually look forward to working out! That said, I really like the staff and the other women and handful of men who come to work out. I'm sticking with PB MV bc it's a crucial part of my health regimen, and this studio makes working out consistently as doable for me as possible. Just a note their class schedules change from month to month. Meaning if one month works perfectly for you, enjoy it but maybe don't get used to it. But if it's terrible, the next month will probably be a lot better. Come check them out!
