I'm so very glad I took those recommendations because Renee is one of the nicest and most bubbly people you can meet!!! Not only is she friendly she's also knowledgeable in what she does and will go through the whole process with you. She will do a consultation with you before she even begins. She'll ask what you would like done and give recommendations on what she sees for you. During the process she will tell you exactly what she's doing and she's very thorough at what she does. She also makes sure you're comfortable and you don't really feel the waxing process. She's great at keeping the conversation going and by the time she's done you don't realize you've been with her for a while. I would highly recommend coming here! I love how my eyebrows where shaped! When I walked in I was asked if I needed to use the restroom and then someone had walked into the restroom so I was told to sit down in the front. In the package it says to arrive 30 minutes early to enjoy mimosas and sweet treats. I did not get taken back to the relaxation room until I stood up and said something. They were too busy chit chatting than worrying about their customer. Finally I was taken back to the relaxation room about 10 minutes before my massage. When I walked in I was shocked they had camper chair for us to sit in, in a so called "relaxation" room. I literally had to chug down my drink and sweet treats before my massage. Finally the massage. ABSOLUTE worst massage I've ever received. The lady spent more time putting the mint oil infront of my nose than actually massage my neck and shoulders, which was literally suffocating. I was also told that hot stone would be included. I had maybe 5 minutes of hot stone on my back and then another 5 minutes of her massaging my back. I'm carrying around a newborn and toddler all day so that was extremely upsetting. My husband booked this massage as a postpartum gift since I just went through an emergency c section and he just wanted me to have a day of relaxation. I left there extremely upset and frustrated instead of feeling good. I ended up leaving a review that night which I've never left a review in my life. And then they replied and was told in the reply if I was open to it they'd like to discuss this further. I called the spa 3 times and the first time I called I was told I would probably just get a refund and that I would be getting a call back. Every other time I called I was given the runaround and told I would be getting a call back. Finally this morning I called and spoke with the owner. The owner was not nice at all and told me because I left a review she will not be giving me any type of compensation. She literally said that because I left a review for the public to see she will not be helping me. I didn't know that I wasn't entitled to leave a review of my experience and because I did I will not be helped. Absolute insanity. Worst customer service and WORST "spa" I've ever been to. I have been debating on whether I should get microblading done on my eyebrows or not and if I were,…read morewhere would I go? Luckily enough for me, one of my friends had gotten her eyebrows microbladed and recommended that I go to Honey Permanent Makeup. I'm very happy that I got the recommendation because Maria is awesome! I had made an appointment over a month in advance, so that I could heal during a time at work where I wouldn't be around too many people. Maria does request that you put down a deposit for any of your visits and you just pay the remainder of your service the day of. Honey Permanent Makeup is located off of Gum Branch, by the Half Moon Fire Department and is in the back of a shared space. Before my first appointment (you will have your initial appointment and then a follow up appointment about two months later) Maria contacted me and let me know it was her and some information about where she is and if you had questions to feel free to ask. When I did arrive for my appointment, I was greeted right away and after getting settled, we started the consultation portion of the visit. She asked how I wanted to get my brows done, recommended looking at her previous work (she let me look from her IPad) and let her know what I liked. After agreeing to how things would be done, she went ahead and mapped my brows and put numbing cream on. She provided a blanket and went to work. She also makes sure to explain the different steps she'll take, the coloring that she'll use and if I honestly did not fall asleep, she would have most likely spent the time explaining what she was doing to my brows. I didn't start to feel anything until closer to the end of our session and she only had a small little area to touch up so the slight sting was worth it. Afterwards, she explained the healing process, gave me a pamphlet with information, and also gave me products to help with the healing process. She doesn't do the dry healing and will give you some soap and an oil that you can put on your brows. The healing process went well and I went to her for my follow up appointment. When we did our follow up, she asked if there was anything that I would like to change in the shape or color and there wasn't much that I changed from her initial work. The follow up didn't take as long, but was similar to the first visit. At the end of my appointment, she asked if I needed any more of the products she initially gave me and let me know if I had any questions, to please contact her. Overall, if you're looking to get your eyebrows microbladded I would highly recommend seeing Maria at Honey Permanent Makeup!!

I love that this business offers online booking because I was able to book my appointment while on my lunch break without having to give up any of my free time. Upon arriving at the salon, all workers in the store were following the guidelines laid out for businesses during COVID. Nikki was extremely professional and did amazing work! I believe she is the owner of the establishment. She made me feel extremely comfortable and always made sure that I was doing okay throughout the entire experience.
