IN ABSOLUTE SHOCK!! BEWARE!! My husband booked a Valentine's Day package for me so my massage was on February 15th at 4:45. I arrived to the spa at 4:05. When I walked in I was asked if I needed to use the restroom and then someone had walked into the restroom so I was told to sit down in the front. In the package it says to arrive 30 minutes early to enjoy mimosas and sweet treats. I did not get taken back to the relaxation room until I stood up and said something. They were too busy chit chatting than worrying about their customer. Finally I was taken back to the relaxation room about 10 minutes before my massage. When I walked in I was shocked they had camper chair for us to sit in, in a so called "relaxation" room. I literally had to chug down my drink and sweet treats before my massage. Finally the massage. ABSOLUTE worst massage I've ever received. The lady spent more time putting the mint oil infront of my nose than actually massage my neck and shoulders, which was literally suffocating. I was also told that hot stone would be included. I had maybe 5 minutes of hot stone on my back and then another 5 minutes of her massaging my back. I'm carrying around a newborn and toddler all day so that was extremely upsetting. My husband booked this massage as a postpartum gift since I just went through an emergency c section and he just wanted me to have a day of relaxation. I left there extremely upset and frustrated instead of feeling good. I ended up leaving a review that night which I've never left a review in my life. And then they replied and was told in the reply if I was open to it they'd like to discuss this further. I called the spa 3 times and the first time I called I was told I would probably just get a refund and that I would be getting a call back. Every other time I called I was given the runaround and told I would be getting a call back. Finally this morning I called and spoke with the owner. The owner was not nice at all and told me because I left a review she will not be giving me any type of compensation. She literally said that because I left a review for the public to see she will not be helping me. I didn't know that I wasn't entitled to leave a review of my experience and because I did I will not be helped. Absolute insanity. Worst customer service and WORST "spa" I've ever been to. Stay away from this horrid place. read more

By some stroke of luck I was able to get in last minute for a 45 minute massage and I couldn't be happier. I got onto the waitlist for a 4:45 via the website but then texted the business to let them know I had some flexibility with the time to hopefully up my chances of getting in. They were super communicative and got me set up. Such a clean and inviting location and the staff is great. I am an LMT so can be a tough customer but had no complaints and left feeling relaxed and refreshed. I will definitely plan ahead on my next visit to Jacksonville so I can get a longer session! read more

This place is sublime! It's a tiny bit hard to find if you aren't quite sure where you are going. It was shared with me that they are looking forward to moving in January 2022. I had booked an appointment a few weeks in advance. I received notifications about openings that they had in case I wanted to move my appointment. The day of, I was checked in early with standard instructions and then Jaqsey (sp?) gave me the best massage I have ever enjoyed. I had a custom 90 minute massage to address all my sore spots. I was treated to a hot lavender scented towel under my neck, on my hands and in my feet. Jaqsey's hands are pure magic and I booked my next appointment on my way out. I scheduled a last minute 45 min appt with Jessie this evening and I wish i wouldve scheduled it sooner! I have had a pinched nerve on my left shoulder radiating down my left side behind the shoulder blade and she worked it really good. I had searched yelp for recommendations for massage places and found this place but I forgot to use the $5 coupon on here. Im hoping i will be able to use it next week! Jessie was fantastic! I had an amazing prenatal massage with Aubrey. I scheduled on a Monday and was fit in on the Thursday. The facility was clean and calming upon entering. The staff was so pleasantly friendly. I will definitely be going back for another massage soon. read more

By the far best experience I have ever had. I was lucky enough to be a client of Jessie for three years but unfortunately I had to move away and have yet to find another massage therapist that comes close to her intuition and knowledge. Jessie is absolutely phenomenal and is invested and dedicated to her clients care and well being. Even after moving away 8 months ago, Jessie provides me with remedies that can assist me with my pain. Jacksonville is lucky to have her. By far the best massage I have ever received. Jessie is amazing!! She asked more questions before the massage to make sure I was comfortable than I've been asked before previous massages with a different masseuse. (Ex: are there any areas to focus on? Any areas to stay away from? And more) She made sure she wasn't using too much pressure and that I was comfortable and relaxed. After my massage I was so relaxed that I told my husband he could probably ask for any tool or man toy he wanted and I would probably say it was okay. I called and scheduled a partial set of eyelashes for myself and a deep tissue massage for my husband. My eyelashes were a disappointment, I spent 100 dollars on lashes that fell out within three days. The right side fell out abundantly. I did get contacted about it but that was the end of it. I've had a few sets done in the past and the only ones that I really ever had problems with was because of the glue that was being used for that specific set. My husband said his massage was great, she did cupping instead of scraping when I explicitly asked for scraping. But it is possible my husband agreed to the cupping, even though I thought the scraping would be more beneficial. I only say this through experience. I've had both done, and felt a massive difference to the scraping versus the cupping. Overall, it's a lovely place with lovely people. I've had good service from them in the past. I had a bit of a hard time finding it because it was tucked away. Angel greeted me at the door and was very welcoming! He asked what specifically I wanted to have worked on and explained the entire process. Throughout the massage, he told me what he was doing and why; he was very knowledgeable. His positivity was contagious and he genuinely seemed happy to be there. The massage itself was great! I was sore the next day but he worked my kinks out and I felt awesome! I booked a chakra balancing massage with Angel and it was very much well worth the drive from the Cherry Point area. The studio was hard for me to find since I'm not from the area but he called and helped me find my way there, and didn't take any time away from my massage. He was very respectful with boundaries (ex. is it alright if i touch here or there) and ensured I had understanding of everything he was going to do. Afterwards he even gave me tips on how to take care of my headaches. The place is very clean, and the ambiance is very calming. I had never received a facial before & I came to Coastal to try it out with Jessie. I am SO glad I did. She was fun, easy to talk to, & explained the whole process really well! She listened to my questions & concerns so I felt super comfortable! I have never described my skin as glowing but it most definitely looked bright & clean when I left Jessie today!! My apt was 20 min late. Therefor they shortened my massage. Wasn't a good massage. I've had LOTS better. They also didn't have the atmosphere of most massage places. I have MS and they made me walk up the stairs where they "set up" the room. The room wasn't dark, didn't have a soothing smell, no warm blankets or warm stones. Not impressed at all. read more

I am visiting from out of town and my mom wanted a relaxing spa day. When I lived here last the only place to go was heritage spa which was always expensive and not that great. I did a little research and found Coastal Wellness. The prices looked great and they were very easy to get in touch with. My mom had a facial and a massage and will definitely regularly go back for another massage. She had a wonderful experience and says that her back feels better than it has in years. I had a 60 minute massage with Angel. He was very kind and helpful. He showed me around the space and the yoga room which looked really cool. The massage was great and just what I needed.
