This company travels to food events. While operating as Stuft Gourmet Foods in North Carolina, they charged Florida sales tax rates. I simply stated this was incorrect on the receipt survey, which only gets sent to the company directly. The owner sends me a text blaming me! I've attached screenshot. Terrible customer service. You can tell he doesn't understand tax laws from his response. Also the food was terrible....$6 or $7 dollars per Empanada.....gourmet prices but I can assure you there was nothing gourmet about the taste! read more

As much as I want to give a 5 star, I cannot justify the size of these empanadas. They are way smaller than you'd expect for the price but the fillings here are more gourmet. They can easily be finished in 2 bites so you'd have to get a lot to be full. read more

Worst business owner you could ever come across. I guess they were provided a stand at an event to sell their empanadas. They had a deal for buying 1,2,3 empandas ( $4,$7,$10) . Owner canceled the deal because he got tired of repeating it to customers and decided to upcharge all of the people who already heard the him say the deal. He was extremely rude to all his customers and raised the price to $5 per empanada because people were complaining about him changing the price! His words exactly" eitherway theyre going to pay, so just for that its $5 per empanada" Im pretty sure this is something you report with the Better Business Bureau.. read more

The carne asada tacos were full of flavor! The sauce on top added a nice amount of spice and I went back for seconds!

I had the opportunity to try each of these gourmet hand pies and absolutely loved them. I started with the braised beef short rib with black garlic and was blown away by how good they iwere, so then I had to try another one. I went with the beef and cheese, which I thought would be comparable to the usual type of Caribbean empanadas. Boy was I wrong! They were a cut above the usual. Next was the apple hand pie. The quality of the food is shown as Delano explains his process of making each empanada from scratch, himself. Highly recommended! I was amazed at how tasty these wonderful empanadas were. The vegetarian option was by far my favorite (red lentil curry) and the cheese and beef was a close second. The chef was very personable and he let me sample an empanada before making my final choice. I would definitely recommend Stuft to anyone who loves empanadas. I did not have a chance to try the dessert option, but based on the other I tried, I'm sure it is worth it's salt, or sugar in this case :) read more

I had a few vegan/vegetarian guests coming to a late Thanksgiving I was hosting, so I ordered some of the Red Lentil Curry hand pies to ensure there was at least something for them to eat. They were gone before most of my vegan guests arrived- even the die hard meat eaters were raving about the flavor and how great they tasted.
