First visit here and they did not disappoint. We went on a Friday afternoon and it was pretty…read morequiet. The employee who took our order was super friendly and seemed happy to answer my questions about the menu. I started with a mango fruit tea with blueberry popping Boba. It was a little light on the tea and tasted more like a juice but it was very refreshing and the bona was very good. $6.50 is a good price and I was happy with my choice. I ordered the udon stir fried noodle for $11. You can add a protein for an additional charge, but I knew I would be sharing a couple of meat dishes so I passed. The noodles were very flavorful and the mushrooms were amazing. It was a pretty nice sized portion that I shared with 2 other guests. We also ordered the dumplings, which is the reason, we went here. They eere crispy on the outside and the pork was soft on the inside. They came In nice sauce with plenty of seasoning. 8 pieces for $10 is also a good price. The third item we got was the chicken bites. A small is $7 and it's a generous portion. They were a little on the spicy side for me, but my guests enjoyed them. The three of shared the 3 entrées and had some noodles and chicken left over. A good experience with friendly service and fair prices. I link forward to returning the next time I visit Tampa.

The main guy Julian was very quick with the food turnaround and supplied us with extra ice in the drinks to stave off the heat. There was space to eat in front of the restaurant and near the turf lawn near the waterway. A lot of nice but not loud music playing and plenty of shade. Would definitely stop by and chow down again at Dang Dude the next time I'm in Tampa!

We passed a small pop up tent with signs advertising Oxtail along the side of the road. My eyes lit up when I saw oxtail mentioned as I went without breakfast this morning..take a chance on this sidewalk vendor, or eat trash food at the airport before our flight? The choice was easy! Thankfully, a generous portion of food piled high presented itself, at fair prices too ($21 for the Oxtail plate with can soda.) Not only visually welcoming, the smell was enticing and the taste was outstanding! Plastic fork tender oxtails, the fat was rendered well and the yellow rice was drenched in the delicious Oxtail Stew. Collard Greens with plenty of vinegar tang accompanied along with a solid Mac n Cheese shell. Chef reps Louisiana heritage and it shows. He only serves Oxtail on Sunday's, so save the date if your local or visiting like us on a Sunday....might just be the highlight of your trip ;) On the corner of North 22nd & East Emma Street. Enjoy!

It's a classic casserole of garlicky oil sauce and seafood or crab over pasta. Name is believed to be a short form of "enchilado", not enchilada, but ENCHILADO, a spicy sauce with chilis. It's a traditional Tampa dish like cuban sandiwches and deviled crabs but I can't seem to get my hands on any. Next week he told me..
