He was very professional and worked with me to help us finish another project with this house. He and his crew came on a Wednesday and removed the old fence and set posts. I had a very bad experience with this company. There were many problems. They promised to finish…read morethe job in a week but it took them over two months. They left nails and wire all over the ground even though I begged them not to do this because it could seriously injure my horses. The worst part was being gouged for materials. After cashing a check from me for $15,699.84 marked "paid in full" they threatened to take out a lien on my home if I did not pay them $1275 for additional materials. When I asked to see a receipt for the materials they could never produce one for my job. When I asked why I was being charged $5.89 each for 125 bags of concrete that cost $3.50 at Home Depot they first claimed they were charging me what they paid their vendor, then claimed they had to overcharge me "or else we wouldn't be in business." I do not think they will be able to stay in business by treating their customers this way. Save yourself a lot of headache and expense - avoid Express Iron Works.

They came out to talk thru the project and discussed options but no hard sell (which I appreciate). They assign a project manager (Blake in my case) to coordinate and keep things on schedule. However, the heroes of the project were Michael + Jonathan who built our fence. The took out the prior fence and checked in with our 96 yr old neighbor that we share the fence with to make sure he approved. He did! The walked me thru the finished fence and even added a "puppy protector" mini fence to keep our dog contained. They were super respectful, kind and FAST. It looks great and with the great warranty, we couldn't be happier.
